Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

I don’t know if it’s because I’ve spent more time with Ryan and Iris recently, but I no longer feel the same dislike towards noisy children. Instead, I sometimes find them quite adorable.

Like Ryan, being mischievously clever, makes you both love and hate him. Like Iris, calling me Uncle Floyd and acting cute to get gifts, makes me feel it’s all so wonderful.

Actually, children are much more lovable than I imagined.

The two regrets in my heart, those two children, will always be a lifelong pain for me.

If the children were still around, I would cherish them greatly, give them the best, and let them grow up happily. But in the end, there’s no chance. Those two children, like her, can’t return...

When Jose Floyd was lost in thought, Regina had already asked the boss for two milk ice creams. She turned around and smiled sweetly at the distracted Jose Floyd, and called out, ”Uncle.”

Jose Floyd snapped back to reality, and the boss smiled at him and said, ”Ten dollars in total, sir. The child with you is really cute. I thought you were father and daughter, but when I heard the kid call you ’Uncle,’ I realized that’s not the case.”

As Jose Floyd pulled out his wallet and handed over a hundred to the boss, Regina turned her back to him and softly said, ”Uncle... change, I have... in the bag.”

Regina was still young, and her speech was broken and short.

Jose Floyd understood Regina’s meaning, looked at her small backpack, and smiled, ”Uncle is treating you. You’re too young, so Uncle can’t let you pay.”

”Okay.” Regina, while eating her ice cream, turned back to Jose Floyd with a sweet smile.

Jose Floyd brought Regina to some steps by the entrance of a mall near the night market to sit down.

”Uncle, you have some too.” Regina handed one of the ice creams she was holding to Jose Floyd, the smile at the corner of her mouth making him feel a sense of familiarity.

Jose Floyd gently shook his head, ”You eat it, Uncle doesn’t need any.”

Regina didn’t take it back, and looked at Jose Floyd while gently saying, ”Mom says... only one...”

Jose Floyd took the ice cream, ”Does your mom only let you have one each time?”

Regina nodded, ”Eating more— makes my tummy hurt.”

Jose Floyd gave an understanding smile, took a small taste of the ice cream Regina gave him, and seeing Regina eagerly waiting for his reaction, he smiled faintly, ”Not bad, Regina, you’re good at finding tasty treats.”

Receiving the compliment, Regina smiled happily, showing her white teeth, looking especially cute.

They sat there, one big and one small, eating with synchronized movements, attracting the gazes of many passersby in the bustling night market with Jose Floyd’s coolness and Regina’s cuteness.

After finishing the ice cream, Jose Floyd looked at his watch, ”Regina, Uncle has important things to do tomorrow, so I can’t stay with you. I’ll leave you with these kind folks around, is that okay? Your mom should also be back soon.”

He only had three days before he had to go abroad to Italy, and today was already spent on the journey, leaving just two days to revisit the hometown where she grew up. Time was particularly tight.

Even though he liked the little girl Regina, whom he met only today, he couldn’t stay with her all the time. For him, Nicole was always the most important.

Regina puffed out her cheeks, nodded lightly, her eyes showing reluctance as she looked at Jose Floyd, ”Uncle, will you come find me again? For ice cream...”

Jose Floyd pressed his lips together, ”If I have the time, I will come find you again. Let’s meet here again, okay? Next time, Uncle will treat you to ice cream again.”
