Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

”Even though they’re just small things, it’s in the small things that a person’s changes are revealed. A couple of days ago when I went to Ryan’s school, he was the one who drove me. To my surprise, after chatting with the teacher for over an hour, he, such a cold and distant person, didn’t leave first. Instead, he waited for us and brought us back to the Seys Family. He was there at Grandpa’s funeral, always beside us, essentially in the capacity of Nicole’s love, bidding farewell to Grandpa. In fact, you could say he was there as a grandson-in-law, standing in for Nicole to escort Grandpa one last time.”

The words of Ariel Morris echoed in his ears, Arlo Seys’s eyes became deeper, saying nothing, he started the car with an inscrutable expression.

”Arlo, don’t be sad. Grandpa left peacefully. The harmony within the Seys Family is an elder’s greatest wish,” said Ariel Morris, comforting the silent Arlo Seys.

Arlo Seys reached out, held Ariel Morris’s hand, and nodded slightly, his voice slightly hoarse, ”I know, it’s okay, don’t worry, let’s go home.”

”Alright.” Ariel Morris gave a faint smile.

The two of them shared a quiet moment, yet they felt warmth and the comfort of companionship in each other’s eyes.

Love is just like this; when there is mutual understanding and affection, silence can also be gentle.

It was unclear whether it was Jose Floyd’s silent company at the funeral that made the Seys Family internally accept his presence, or something else. Occasionally, when passing by Iris and Ryan Seys’s school, Jose Floyd would always take them out for delicious food, then silently send them back to the Seys Family.

Ryan Seys always referred to Jose Floyd as uncle-in-law, which both the Seys Family and Jose Floyd had become accustomed to.

Jose Floyd was aloof and reticent, but when looking at Iris and Ryan Seys, his expression always softened.

So, as summer passed into autumn and the seasons continued to cycle, a year’s time flashed by.

Jose Floyd grew closer to the Seys Family; besides that, whenever he had time, he would visit Nicole’s grave.

On this day, as usual, when Jose Floyd went to accompany Nicole at her grave, he saw a bouquet of fresh flowers placed there.

Coincidentally, they were exactly the same as the lilies he bought.

Jose Floyd placed the flowers in front of Nicole’s grave, looking at the smiling photo on the tombstone, his gaze deepened.

Sitting down in front of her grave, Jose Floyd’s long fingers brushed over the characters of Nicole’s name on the tombstone, his eyes becoming gentle.

”It’s been a year and a half, Nicole, you’ve been gone hundreds of days, yet I always feel like you’re somewhere in the world, not having left.”

”I often dream, dreaming of our past... Actually, deep down, I don’t want to admit the fact that you won’t return.”

”It’s only now that I realize, your one word ’Floyd’ is a treasure I cannot trade anything for.”

”Everything in the Seys Family is fine, you have no idea how much I miss our two absent children when I see your niece and nephew... If they were still here, I wouldn’t be so lonely.”

”Nicole, you’re really cruel, leaving nothing behind and just leaving like that, not even a thought. But I have no choice, for I care for no one but you... I’ll wait a little longer, after this life, I’ll find you in the next.”

”A few days ago, while driving, I inadvertently saw a girl on the street whose back looked a lot like yours. In my distraction, I didn’t even stop the car and was about to chase after her, almost causing an accident.”

”Because I’m afraid, Nicole...” Jose Floyd’s voice was somewhat hoarse, ”I’m afraid that if I’m a step too late, that figure will vanish into the vast sea of people, I’m terrified of losing you completely.”
