Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

He took the water and swallowed the medicine, his eyes turning to her. She just grabbed his notebook and walked out of the study.

”My notebook is broken, I want to watch TV series, so I’m taking yours. If you have any objections... well, too bad! I’m not returning it!”

After saying this, she swung the door open and left, leaving him unable to stop laughing.

To let him rest while he was sick, she even played a small rascal—an unusual side of her that delighted him immensely, making him somewhat glad he caught a cold.

At a circle party for socializing.

A woman approached him, started chatting him up, and before he could open his mouth to retort, she exploded.

”You’re not his type.” She looped her arm through his, casting an aloof glance at the approaching woman.

”...Someone can flirt better than me, directly linking arms with the guy... Girl, you’ve got some skills.” The woman sneered at her.

He was about to react, but she beat him to it, her expression serenely composed as she spoke calmly: ”That’s right, he even discarded his wife for me, do you think I have no means? Do you think you, at your kindergarten level, can compete with me, a vixen? Don’t try to teach a master how to play his own game, will you?”

The woman, infuriated by such shameless words, changed her expression several times.

Yet she let out a captivating smile, deliberately smiling seductively at him, her voice extremely soft: ”Darling, don’t go back to your wife tonight, she’s not as pretty as me.”

At that moment, the corners of his mouth twitched as he looked at her purposely flaunting, his eyes sparkling with a tenderness called ’doting’, letting her do as she pleased.

He cooperated with her, nodding lightly.

The woman looked at the two of them as if she had seen an extremely disgusting couple, instantly showing her disdain before quickly distancing herself.

”Jose, can I take a picture of you, could you smile a bit? Your stern face is no fun.”

”The school organized a trip, but I’m not going, Jose, would you take me for a tour instead? There are so many sights in Italy that I haven’t seen.”

”Jose, do you think this manor will look the same after a long time? ...It’s nothing, I’m just thinking nonsense, just wondering if by then, I’ll still be here...”

”Jose, when you grow old, you can put a rocking chair here, have afternoon tea, read books, play some chess... it’s perfect... What do I like? I like to have a swing set on the lawn in front of the rocking chair... No need to install the swing just yet, I mean maybe later, in the future, in the manor... we’ll talk about it then.”

”Jose, if you keep on eating irregularly, when you marry a wife, are you planning to starve her to death? I really want to see you tortured by a woman, the kind where if she asks for stars, you go and fetch them... Do you think I’ll ever see you like that in my lifetime?”

Those calls of ’Jose’, along with scenes from their five years together, played vividly in his mind like a movie.

Jose Floyd closed his eyes as the sleeping pills took effect, his head beginning to feel heavy, leaving only an uncontrollable, low, hoarse murmur: ”Nicole...”

Day after day, time flies by quickly for some fortunate people, while for Jose Floyd, each day was nothing but loneliness and torment.

So Jose Floyd desperately kept himself busy, to feel a bit better, avoiding living in a world filled with longing. Yet every deep night, he couldn’t help but remember the little moments with Nicole, the scene of Nicole shielding him from a stab, blood filling his embrace.
