Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

When Jose Floyd looked back at her and saw her eyes, forthright and unwavering, his heart felt a stabbing pain, and his voice was somewhat blurry: ”Is she really gone?... Before she died, did she leave anything for me?”

Ariel Morris looked at the sorrow in Jose Floyd’s eyes, her fingers somewhat stiff on the steering wheel, and after hesitating for a moment, said, ”No... Jose Floyd, Nicole has been gone for so long now. Honestly, aren’t you tired of thinking about her?”

Jose Floyd didn’t reply, but the sadness in his eyes slowly spread from deep within, infusing his entire being with an air of melancholy and defeat.

Without saying a word, he turned, his fingers tightly clenching into his palms.

Nicole was dead, her tombstone was in the cemetery, yet hearing Joshua Floyd say she might not be was like a breath of spring, as if he was reborn, with the world suddenly brightening.

But in reality, it was just a dream; Nicole would never come back.

Ariel Morris watched Jose Floyd’s lonely silhouette as he walked away, her gaze deepening. Seeing his solitary and desolate figure made her throat block, wanting to call out to him, but she held back.

As Jose Floyd’s car drove away, Ariel Morris sighed heavily, ”Jose Floyd probably truly fell for Nicole. He should know by now how to cherish someone. Tonight, I suppose I need to talk to Arlo. Jose Floyd, I hope you really understand how to ’cherish.’ If you keep being so rigid like before, Arlo will never agree in this lifetime.”

When Jose Floyd returned to Clearflower Estate, Joshua Floyd, who hadn’t left and was waiting for him, immediately approached, ”How did it go, did you find out anything?”

Jose Floyd headed for the sofa, and lay down powerlessly, without answering.

”Ariel Morris didn’t tell you? What now? Besides her, who else can give you the truth! Jose Floyd, can’t you ask more questions? You must know that apart from her, there’s no other way to find out!”

Jose Floyd’s eyes were very calm, like water with no ripples, silent to the point of speechlessness.

”I’m planning to go back to Italy.”

Finally, he spoke, his voice somewhat hoarse, his gaze lifeless and still.

In the manor estate in Italy, at least there are familiar places where they spent time together. Back then they loved each other so much, whereas in City C, they only harbored hatred for each other, with no happiness at all.

Therefore, he wanted to return to Italy, to walk again the paths and streets they traveled together, to slowly experience and reminisce the days hand in hand with her.

”Will you come with me? My flight is three days away. I have a few surgeries waiting for me there, and I can only stay a few days in City C.” Joshua Floyd’s voice was deep.

Jose Floyd murmured a response, ”Then let’s go together. Before we leave, I want to visit a place I’ve never been, but it’s a place she always missed.”

”Where?” Joshua Floyd turned to ask.

Jose Floyd’s eyes were a bit sorrowful, and his voice even more hoarse: ”It’s her hometown, where she grew up with Wade, a small Southriver village.”

Three days until Italy, there’s enough time—

He wanted to see what the place she grew up in was like.

What kind of place could nurture someone he would never forget in this lifetime?

Nicole, I walk the roads you walked, traversing your childhood places, following your footprints, seeking the silhouette of your growth, recollecting you.

Nicole, my little fortune, you cruelly left me with regrets, taking back the luck you had blessed me with...
