Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

The torment cycles endlessly. For Jose Floyd, the long year has finally passed, and it has been two and a half years since Nicole left.

On this day, Jose Floyd was drinking alone in Clearflower Estate when a servant approached and respectfully said, ”Young Master, a Mr. Joshua Floyd is here to see you.”

”Joshua?” Jose’s hand paused as he was drinking.

On the third day after Langdon Seal and Olivia Summer issued their public apology, Joshua, along with Stuart Floyd and Celine Sutton, returned to Italy without claiming half of the Seal Family’s estate.

So why was Joshua suddenly coming back to him at this time?

Jose Floyd pressed his thin lips together, ”Let him in.”

Joshua had genuinely cared for Nicole. Just for that, Jose would also treat Joshua with kindness.

Those who had hurt her before, he hated even more, and for those who had treated her well, he remembered on her behalf. Therefore, he always cared about the Seys Family, as they were not only her kin but sincerely good to her.

When Joshua came in, Jose had already downed a large bottle of booze; since her passing, cigarettes and alcohol had become his daily companions, helping him heal.

Joshua looked at the glass in Jose’s hand, walked over, snatched the remaining half bottle, and took a swig from the bottle, ”I came all the way here from Italy, and this is how you’re going to entertain me? You better stop drinking.”

”Why are you back?” Jose scanned Joshua coldly.

Joshua tasted the alcohol, a slight smile on his lips, ”Just came to see, honestly, I quite like City C.”

Jose said nothing, his gaze a bit deep, with a touch more desolation than before.

Joshua observed his demeanor for a while before speaking in a low voice, ”So, after all this time, have you forgotten her?”

The response Joshua got was a cold glance from Jose, eyes sharp as icy blades, his voice firm and slightly hoarse, ”I won’t forget! I’ll never forget the moment when she used her body to shield me from the knife!”

A woman who treated him this well probably doesn’t exist in the world anymore, only Nicole, who said she hated him but actually loved him deeply.

”I told you back then, if three years later you still remember her and haven’t fallen for anyone else, go to Ariel Morris for her belongings. Have you asked her?” Joshua asked, his expression grave.

Jose did not reply, placing the glass down, intending to head upstairs.

The phrase ’her belongings’ was his least favorite, as if she had vanished but left things behind, only intensifying his longing and doubling his pain.

I don’t need her belongings!

Seeing him leave, Joshua shouted at his back, ”Are you stupid! I’ve hinted so obviously! Those belongings are important! If you miss it, you’ll cry your whole life!”

If he wasn’t his brother, he wouldn’t bother meddling in his business!

Jose ignored Joshua’s shout and continued heading upstairs, his gaze devoid of any warmth, his silhouette solitary and aloof.

”Jose Floyd, I was beside Nicole when she was rushed into the emergency room! But Arlo Seys was the one calling the shots for the Seys Family...” Seeing the uninterested man going upstairs, Joshua was agitated and blurted out, ”When I left the emergency room, she still had a breath!”

”...”

The living room was unusually silent; Jose’s feet felt as if they were laden with lead, unable to move.

”What did you just—say?” Jose’s body and voice both trembled slightly, incredulous.

He feared it was a hallucination, afraid his desperate wish for her to be alive was creating an illusion.....
