Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Nicole glanced at Jose Floyd out of the corner of her eye, almost jumping up at his actions, ”Jose... Jose Floyd! Put on some clothes! Or at least wrap yourself in a towel!”

The towel had been covering his lower body, but now he was just in his underwear, how was she supposed to look at him without blushing and her heart racing?!

Jose Floyd eyed the agitated Nicole, leisurely drying his hair, his face indifferent, as if he hadn’t heard Nicole’s words, unhurriedly wiping.

”Jose Floyd, can you stop being such a rogue!” Nicole exclaimed in frustration, scolding Jose Floyd.

”Being a rogue? Nicole Meyers, it seems you’ve never seen a real rogue, do you need me to demonstrate?” His voice was cool, mingled with signals of danger.

Nicole instinctively tugged at the blanket around her, ”Be a gentleman, will you? I’m just borrowing your bed for a night, let’s stay within boundaries and not cross any lines.”

”Excuse me, Miss Seys, what have I done? I just took a shower, it’s you who’s overthinking.” Jose Floyd’s eyes slightly squinted, warningly looking at Nicole.

Nicole froze, a blush across her face, yet defiantly retorted, ”You’re not wearing clothes, you’re being a rogue, Jose Floyd, you rogue, in front of a woman, without clothes, we’re in the same room now, you’re making me very embarrassed, you’re really a rogue...”

Her voice was suddenly silenced, her soft lips were stopped by two cool thin lips, causing her voice to abruptly stop!

Nicole’s eyes widened instantly, her long eyelashes fluttering lightly, incredulously looking at the face so close that had unpredictably kissed her, her heartbeat surged wildly.

Nicole’s fingers tightened around her phone, her breathing even became shallow, as if the air was thin, making her feel oxygen-deprived, her cheeks quickly reddening.

Just as her heart was leaping wildly, the thin lips touching hers suddenly withdrew, maintaining a distance, Jose Floyd’s tall figure stood in front of Nicole, his voice cold: ”Remember, this is what being a rogue really is!”

Nicole clutched her phone, her breathing halted for three seconds, slid into the covers, hiding her body and head, ”I’m sleeping, you... rest too.”

Nicole covered her face with the blanket, concealing her burning cheeks, trying to steady her emotions.

Jose Floyd leisurely turned to get into bed from the other side, without speaking, glancing at the person shrinking her head into the blankets, his lips pressed slightly, ”Nicole Meyers, are you trying to suffocate yourself?”

Nicole’s fingers slightly released, shifting her body, maintaining boundaries with Jose Floyd who had just gotten into bed, she gently turned aside, back facing Jose Floyd, her head emerging.

Her act of distancing and maintaining boundaries made Jose Floyd’s indifferent eyes flicker briefly, but he said nothing, lying beside her.

Between the two, silence prevailed, the room quiet save for their breathing.

Outside the door.

Having been eavesdropping since hearing the two enter the room, Celine Sutton sent a message to Stuart Floyd.

”Honey, what if Jose didn’t sleep with Nicole? I’m worried sick!”

Stuart Floyd, on the sofa downstairs, received Celine Sutton’s message, his eyes turned serious, replied, ”Patience, we’ll think of a way tomorrow, for now get some sleep. Jose, really, Nicole was brought right to him and he didn’t make a move, maybe he has physical issues? Celine, you love making medicinal dishes; tomorrow why don’t you make a day of it for the two of them, I bet something will happen!”

”Alright.”
