Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

He walked closer and saw her flushed cheeks, smelled the scent of alcohol all over her, and the trace of sorrow between her eyebrows hadn’t faded.

Jose Floyd frowned slightly, bent down, and horizontal embraced the person who had passed out from intoxication, standing in front of the graves, looking at the words ’Wade’ ’Niki’ engraved on the two adjacent tombstones.

Jose Floyd looked at the two tombstones, guessed their identities, and slightly nodded towards Nicole’s biological mother and brother, his voice faint: ”Nice to meet you. From now on, she belongs to me. I’m taking her with me, she’s mine for this lifetime.”

Jose Floyd, rare to speak so politely, addressed the two tombstones with utmost respect and decorum.

His tone was just like a son-in-law and brother-in-law asking his mother-in-law and brother-in-law for the most precious treasure they had.

Jose Floyd turned around while holding Nicole.

The future Nicole would just be Nicole, someone who owed Jose Floyd, and also the woman whom he would never let go once he held her hand.

Jose Floyd, enduring the pain in his injured hand, got into the car with Nicole, gently placed her in the passenger seat, then walked around to the driver’s seat. His gaze just returned to the passenger seat, then he heard those thin lips lightly moving, starting slightly, and then a very low and soft voice came through.

Jose Floyd leaned closer to Nicole, reached out to tidy her slightly messy bangs, his eyes filled with gentle light.

”I won’t... be sad, it’s not like... deep down... Jose Floyd, don’t come near me... don’t be good to me. You’ll regret it, Jose Floyd...”

Jose Floyd’s fingers paused, hearing her call his name even in her stupor, something stirred in his heart.

He looked at her picturesque face, replied softly: ”You’re right, Nicole, I won’t be too good to you either, it’s not like it’s that deep for you.”

But ever since the day he met her, he never wanted anyone else, only the girl named Nicole.

So, to her, it wasn’t that deep, it was just engraved on his left atrium, that’s all.

Jose Floyd’s slender fingers remained on Nicole’s forehead, gently rubbing, his fingers tender, his eyes brimming with starlight.

He leaned closer, his thin lips kissed between her brows and eyes, his actions were unprecedentedly gentle and fond, his voice faint, softer than his usual aloofness by countless times, ”Do you love me? Are you afraid? Are you afraid of falling in love with me? Or did you never love me from the start? Nicole... why were you so ruthless to take away the child, I said, as long as it’s born by you, I want it. But why couldn’t you be soft-hearted for once and keep the child?”

-

When Nicole woke up, it was already the next morning, her head aching to the point of exploding, she slowly opened her eyes, the sight before her was the man with deep features lying beside her.

Jose Floyd—

How could she be lying in the same bed as Jose Floyd? Last night...

Thinking back to yesterday, wasn’t she in the cemetery talking to Wade? How did she end up in a hotel with Jose Floyd?

Looking at Jose Floyd’s sleeping face, Nicole was lost in thought for a while before her gaze moved down to his left atrium. There was a scar there, which she had given him.

Nicole felt a bit of sourness at the corners of her eyes.

How much she once hated Jose Floyd, is how much she regrets now! This man gave her infinite love, yet she almost took his life.

Jose—

In her heart, she murmured lowly, Nicole’s eyes grew moist.

She owed him.

With an elbow pressing on her waist, Nicole moved slightly, gently moved Jose Floyd’s hand aside. Holding her own phone, she quietly slipped out of the room....
