Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Only then did Qu Wei notice that Jose Floyd was injured. Surprise flashed through his eyes, and he immediately bent down and said, ”Young Master Floyd, I’ll notify the doctor right away to go to the Manor Estate to treat you.”

Jose Floyd didn’t respond, his body just trembled a little, and then he actually fell in the direction where Nicole was standing.

”Young Master!” Qu Wei was shocked.

Nicole reacted quickly and caught Jose Floyd as he fell. Panic flooded her eyes, her voice so tense it choked, ”Jose Floyd! Jose Floyd! Qu Wei, get the doctor to the Manor Estate right now, hurry! Take him back to the Manor Estate!!”

”Yes, Sister Nicole!” Qu Wei nodded at once, and shouted to the people behind him, ”Quick! Carry Young Master Floyd back to the Manor Estate!”

Qu Wei called people over to lift him, but found that when Jose Floyd passed out, his fingers had clenched tightly onto Nicole’s clothes, and no matter what Qu Wei and the others did, he wouldn’t let go.

Qu Wei looked at Nicole and spoke in a low voice, ”Sister Nicole, are you coming back to the Manor Estate with us?”

Although he hadn’t seen Sister Nicole appear by Young Master Floyd’s side in the past two or three years, judging from today, when Young Master Floyd risked danger to save Sister Nicole, Young Master Floyd’s feelings for Sister Nicole were absolutely one hundred percent real and deep!

Nicole hesitated a little, but when her gaze swept over Jose Floyd’s pale face and the right sleeve soaked through with blood, she silently nodded.

”I’ll support him, you help me lift. Qu Wei, have the doctor wait at the Manor Estate! His injuries are very serious!”

”Yes, Sister Nicole!”

With the help of Qu Wei and the others, Nicole went along with them and sent Jose Floyd back to the Manor Estate.

Only, when Nicole couldn’t see, the unconscious Jose Floyd’s lips curved very slightly, and then quickly returned to their cold arc.

In the Manor Estate.

The doctor finished tending to Jose Floyd’s wounds and put him on an IV drip of anti-inflammatory medication. The doctor said Jose Floyd was badly hurt, and Nicole silently kept him company at the bedside.

For several days in a row, Jose Floyd only woke up in a daze, never truly clear-headed. Qu Wei entrusted the task of watching over Jose Floyd to Nicole, saying that he himself had to follow up on the latest situation with Jude Charington.

Nicole didn’t refuse, and just like that she was left in the Manor Estate.

The servants in the Manor Estate were still the same as before, even the housekeeper was still Aunt Myres. Seeing Nicole again, Aunt Myres was a bit surprised, then instantly spoke with delight, ”Miss Nicole is back, that’s really wonderful.”

Back——-

Hearing this, Nicole’s emotions were a little complicated.

So in the eyes of the people in the Manor Estate, she had only left temporarily and could come back at any time? So everyone had always seen her as Jose Floyd’s only woman, believing that she and Jose Floyd would always be together.

Yeah, what man treats a woman so well and then doesn’t stay with her? But the debt and entanglement between her and Jose Floyd were not something that could be made clear in a sentence or two.

During the days Nicole watched over Jose Floyd, the two of them didn’t really talk, but compared to the cold, hurtful words between them before, the way they were now was a hundred times better.

Jose Floyd lay in bed watching the person peeling fruit for him. His gaze was calm, but it never moved away from her for even a moment.

Life as peaceful as water; with her by his side, the days were warm even without words.

His effort in playing the ”weak” one hadn’t been wasted. With just an injured arm, he ”dizzily” lay in bed for several days, enjoying her company and care.

On the seventh day, the doctor came to change Jose Floyd’s dressing, and Nicole took a phone call. After hanging up, Nicole held the phone and said to the doctor, ”You take care of him at the Manor Estate today, I have something to go out for.”

The doctor paused, nodded, and his gaze couldn’t help but sweep toward the man on the bed whose expression was composed.
