Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Daisy Grant processed a document, looked up at Diego Campbell, and smiled faintly, ”When the boat reaches the pier-head, it will straighten itself out naturally, don’t worry. The Grant Clan belongs to the Grant Family; this won’t change. Alright, go back to work. I’ll finish up here and clock out after.”

”Miss Grant—” Diego replied helplessly, his face filled with concern.

Daisy Grant shook her head with a light smile, ”Diego, I know you’re wholeheartedly thinking for me and the Grant Clan. Rest assured, although I may not be as outstanding as my father, I won’t embarrass him. What he entrusted to me, I will definitely protect.”

Diego responded with a hum, ”If you need any help, Miss Grant, just let me know.”

”Thank you, Diego.” Daisy Grant smiled softly.

Daisy Grant returned home at ten o’clock at night.

She unlocked the door with her key, changed into slippers at the entrance, and walked upstairs quietly.

Passing by the study, Daisy glanced inside and found it empty. Considering that Dawn Sutherland might have fallen asleep, Daisy walked very lightly, afraid of waking him.

Daisy didn’t turn on the lights, but used her phone screen’s brightness to illuminate her path.

As Daisy was about to close the door, she felt a presence closing in from behind.

She turned around, only to bump into a solid chest, her heartbeat skipped a beat, ”Bro— Brother, why aren’t you asleep yet?”

She thought he was already in bed!

Dawn Sutherland pinned Daisy against the door, their proximity so close that Daisy only had to lift her chin to kiss Dawn’s thin lips.

With their close proximity, bodies nearly touching, Daisy felt her cheeks heat up, and a strong alcohol scent hung between her nose and his.

”Brother, have you been drinking? Were you socializing outside?”

Answering Daisy was Dawn’s slender fingers lifting her chin, kissing her fiercely without hesitation...

Her lips were soft with a hint of sweetness, and Dawn’s kiss gradually became uncontrollable, persistently invasive.

Daisy’s eyes widened immediately, looking at the person impossibly close in disbelief, feeling her heart pounding intensely, unable to contain herself.

Dawn’s kiss was aggressive and fervent, leaving Daisy no room to breathe, entangling within her lips with the scent of wine.

Daisy was kissed until feeling dizzy, her mind blank, lost in thoughts, only having Dawn’s handsome features and heavy breathing reflected in her eyes.

Just then, a bright light emanated from Daisy’s phone in her palm, followed by a clear ringtone piercing through the quiet room.

Holding the phone, Daisy looked at the person still passionately kissing her, gently pushed his body, and placed the phone against her ear to answer.

The call went through.

”Are you home?” A deep, magnetic voice came from the other end of the phone.

Due to their close proximity, Dawn’s brow furrowed upon hearing the voice, his mind flashing the scene of Daisy getting into a car with that stranger, convinced that this pleasant, deep voice must belong to that distinguished man!

Daisy pushed Dawn’s body again, about to respond, when the phone was snatched away by a long fingered hand.

”Brother... what’s wrong?” Daisy looked at Dawn, suddenly snatching her phone, in astonishment.

Dawn couldn’t control the surge of irritation in his heart wanting to act out, admitting that it felt very uncomfortable hearing this call!

Panic, confusion, worry. Fear, sadness... all the negative emotions came rushing in, engulfing him completely.

Dawn didn’t even look at the phone before casting it behind him, startling Daisy who was watching him with wide eyes...
