Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

”Second brother, what’s wrong? Why are you watching me eat? Why aren’t you eating more?”

Dawn Sutherland’s gaze was a bit flustered. When his eyes caught sight of the smear of tomato sauce at the corner of Daisy Grant’s mouth, he instinctively reached out and gently used a napkin to wipe it off.

”Th... thank you, second brother.” Daisy Grant felt somewhat awkward, her heart pounding. She reached for the lemonade to cover her embarrassment.

”It’s fine.” Dawn Sutherland put down the napkin, his expression calm and natural. ”By the way, it’s time for a prenatal checkup this month, isn’t it? Let me accompany you tomorrow.”

”No need!” Daisy Grant’s grip on her knife and fork tightened slightly. Seeing Dawn Sutherland’s puzzled look, Daisy smiled lightly, ”What I mean is... I’ve already had the checkup, the baby is healthy, second brother, you don’t need to worry.”

Her second brother accompanying her to a prenatal checkup... would completely reveal the baby’s actual months. She intentionally told him the baby was a month older just to deceive everyone!

”Have you thought about the baby’s name?” Dawn Sutherland casually asked while eating.

Daisy Grant’s fingers stiffened slightly, her head shook slowly.

These days she’s been so busy, almost forgetting she’s a pregnant woman, always on her feet.

Daisy Grant suddenly looked up at Dawn Sutherland, ”Second brother, can I let the baby take your surname?”

Nowadays, people taking their mother’s surname are still quite rare and often the subject of gossip.

This child, like Aidan Sutherland said, won’t see the light of day, and will be talked about like second brother was in childhood.

Dawn Sutherland was slightly surprised; he hadn’t expected Daisy Grant would propose the baby taking his surname.

This child was hers with someone else, but he was willing to love everything about her, treating this child as his own. He feared she wouldn’t want that, which is why he never brought up the baby’s surname, assuming it would obviously follow her surname Grant.

Seeing Dawn Sutherland’s silence, Daisy Grant thought he minded the issue of the child’s biological father, and smiled lightly, ”Second brother, have something to eat, it’s fine. The baby taking my surname Grant is also good, after all, I’m the only daughter of the Grant Family.”

Dawn Sutherland pursed his lips, detecting the concealment in her words, chuckled lightly and shook his head, ”I don’t mind, just surprised you would let the baby take my surname. Daisy, if you trust me, I’ll treat this child as my own and raise them well.”

Daisy Grant’s gaze landed on Dawn Sutherland, surprised by his agreement and even more by his lack of concern for the child’s background issues. Daisy smiled gently, ”Thank you, second brother. If you have time, think of a name for the baby. I haven’t asked the doctor whether it’s a boy or girl, so why don’t you think of a name for both a boy and a girl?”

Dawn Sutherland nodded, ”Alright.”

After Daisy Grant finished eating, she went to the restaurant’s restroom and unexpectedly ran into Elsa, whom she hadn’t seen for a while.

Elsa was equally surprised to bump into Daisy Grant, glanced at Daisy’s bulging belly, and sneered dismissively, ”Daisy Grant, I really admire you. Ruining your own reputation for a man, yet keeping silent about the child’s father. Do you really think it’s worth it?”

Daisy Grant covered her belly with her bag, and under Elsa’s scrutinizing gaze, felt a chill. Her voice responded coolly, ”Elsa, all this time and you still haven’t married into the Sutherland Family, haven’t given up yet? I advise you to let it go. Aidan Sutherland, as the eldest son of the Sutherland Family, is definitely going to marry a socialite matched in status as per Selah Sutton’s wish. Why waste your youth on him, better to find a man who truly loves you and live your life!”
