Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

”Mrs. Seys, we’ve promised each other a lifetime, can you keep your word?”

”In this lifetime, I’ve fallen for you again and again, always at your mercy. Fine, I admit defeat, I’ll wait, even if it’s waiting for you for eight years. Sleep well, wake up when you’re ready, I’ll always be here, waiting for you to wake up.”

Early the next morning.

Candy called Dawn Sutherland early, asking Daisy Grant to accompany her to have fun.

Feeling helpless, Dawn Sutherland had breakfast and then drove Daisy Grant to pick up Candy from the apartment.

Dawn Sutherland went back to the company to work, while Daisy Grant, as the host, took Candy to many famous tourist attractions in City C, and they also went to the snack street to taste the most authentic local cuisine.

Through the interaction, Daisy Grant found that Candy was truly a good girl, lively and generous, cheerful and smiley, with a youthful energy that makes everyone feel invigorated by her radiant smile.

Meanwhile, Candy also liked Daisy Grant very much; her gentle and considerate nature while guiding Candy around City C impressed her greatly.

When Candy saw Daisy Grant standing pregnant in line to buy tea from one of City C’s most famous stores, she couldn’t help but show emotion and a smile in her eyes.

Today, despite being pregnant, Daisy Grant accompanied her the whole day without complaining of fatigue, instead several times suggesting they play a bit longer.

”No wonder Dawn is fond of such a girl; if I were Dawn, I’d fall for her too. She doesn’t possess the pampered airs of a socialite, calm and composed, perfectly matched with Dawn, losing to a girl like this, I admit defeat willingly.”

When Daisy Grant came over with the tea, she noticed Candy was staring at her. Daisy handed a cup of tea to Candy with a smile and asked, ”Why are you looking at me? Is there something dirty on my face?”

”No, dear Daisy, I’m just admiring how beautiful you are, no wonder you won Dawn’s heart!” Candy spoke while observing every expression on Daisy’s face, studying her features intently.

Daisy Grant laughed and found a long bench under a tree to sit with Candy, the two of them drinking tea while chatting.

Candy gazed at Daisy, her eyes lighting up before she spoke, ”Dear Daisy, how did you and Dawn meet?”

She only knew that Dawn had always carried a tiny crush, unaware of their past.

Daisy paused slightly while holding the tea, smiled lightly, ”If we’re talking about the first meeting, it was during a rainstorm. I was visiting the Sutherland Family, unexpectedly bumped into my brother kneeling outside their door, I handed him an umbrella, and that’s how we met.”

Candy nodded while holding the tea.

So it was love at first sight, a connection through an umbrella!

Daisy turned to Candy with a slight smile and asked, ”Then can I know how you and my brother met?”

Candy became interested at the mention, now there was something to chat about. She looked at Daisy and said with a smile, ”I met Dawn in Washington. A few years ago, Dawn fainted in Washington, and I saved him, that’s how we became acquainted.”

”A few years ago my brother fainted in Washington?” Daisy’s fingers felt a bit cold, gripping the plastic cup slightly deformed, ”How could that be? He never mentioned this to me.”

Candy gazed intently at Daisy, ”I indeed saved Dawn on the streets of Washington. At that time, he was feverish, his temperature wouldn’t drop, so I took him home and nursed him for a few days.”

Daisy’s eyes fluttered closed briefly, her voice notably low, ”I was studying in Washington at the time, why didn’t he call me when he was there? If he wasn’t feeling well... I would have taken care of him.”

Her brother went to Washington without reaching out to her, after she left for five years, it was like he forgot her; no calls, no texts, no greetings...
