Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Arlo Seys paused for a moment, ”Dawn, why don’t you just ask Daisy Grant who that man is?”

Dawn Sutherland’s lips curled into a bitter smile, ”If she was willing to say, I wouldn’t have gone through all the trouble to investigate.” As if remembering something, Dawn’s eyes lit up, ”Oh right, there’s a lead I can look into! I’ll send you the details soon!”

Dawn quickly hung up the phone, logged into his bank account, and checked the remittance records of the bank card he recently gave Daisy Grant. He found the other party’s account information and sent it to Arlo Seys.

”Arlo, look into the information on this bank account holder, I need all the details on him!”

”Okay, I’ll have someone check for you.”

”Thanks, Arlo. By the way, has Ariel...woken up?” Dawn’s voice was a bit low.

The voice on the other side was even lower, with a hint of hoarseness, ”No. It’s okay, I’ll wait for her, I know she will wake up eventually. No matter how long it takes, I’ll wait. It’s not like I haven’t waited before, I got through eight years of waiting, I’m not afraid of waiting, as long as she can come back to me, I’ll wait as long as it takes.”

Dawn sighed heavily in his heart, remained silent for a long while, and when he heard Arlo Seys’ heavy breathing on the other end, he pressed his lips and said in a low voice, ”Arlo, take good care of yourself, Ariel surely won’t leave you, she will definitely come back.”

”I’m just afraid she might break her promise. I’m not afraid of anything, just afraid that Ariel Morris will break her promise, that she promised to spend our lives together but then leaves me all of a sudden.”

Dawn could hear the heartache and unease in his good brother’s voice, and sighed for this deeply loving couple, ”Arlo, I’ll hang up now, I’ll come over in a couple of days to see you, and also visit the babies.”

”Okay.”

After hanging up, Dawn recalled the words he heard from Daisy Grant by the bathroom door earlier. His eyes grew deeper.

”I gave you the money, but you broke your promise, what am I supposed to do now...” Dawn softly repeated Daisy’s conversation, feeling a tug at his heart, a bit uncomfortable.

A while back she wired two hundred thousand, to whom?

Was it to the biological father of the child?

Why does he feel like Daisy was being blackmailed by someone?

Who did Daisy exchange this money with? It was obvious from the conversation earlier today, Daisy had transferred the money to someone who then cheated her, played her.

And Elsa, Elsa’s attitude towards Daisy last time also vaguely seemed like a threat to Daisy.

What kind of secret does Daisy have that makes her so eager to cover it up?

Dawn’s eyes darkened, he changed his clothes and went downstairs.

At the dining table.

Daisy Grant was sitting there having breakfast. When she saw Dawn coming downstairs, she gave a faint smile, ”Second Brother, are you going to the company today?”

Dawn sat down across from Daisy, and replied gently, ”Yes.”

Daisy took a sip of milk, ”Oh right, Second Brother, someone called you last night, named Candy, she said she’ll come to see you in a couple of days.”

Daisy conveyed Candy’s message.

Dawn paused as he was having breakfast, ”Okay, I got it.”

Daisy saw that Dawn didn’t intend to talk about Candy further, so she didn’t ask more, quietly eating her breakfast.

Dawn ate his breakfast all the while thinking about Daisy’s matters, hesitating for quite a while before looking at Daisy and saying, ”Daisy, is there really nothing you need my help with? If there’s anything, just tell me.”

”No!” Daisy held her milk cup a bit tighter, and returned Dawn’s questioning gaze with a feigned calm and natural look, ”Second Brother, I have nothing at all, not a single thing, hurry and finish your breakfast and head to the company, tonight I’ll ask Donna to make something delicious, let’s have dinner at home.”
