Chapter 499: Chapter 499 Susan Saxton and Arlo Seys Confrontation [2]

Arlo Seys walked towards the interrogation room with his long strides.

Nico Haynes smiled wickedly as he watched everything happening in the interrogation room on the video, raising an eyebrow at Dawn Sutherland, ”The show is about to start!”

Dawn also smiled, ”Susan Saxton is digging her own grave.”

Nico looked at Susan in the video with disdain, ”Such a stupid woman trying to compete with us, the top three of City C? She’ll be crushed in minutes, okay? With that level of intelligence, she’s not even as good as Little Girl Morris!”

Dawn touched his nose and smiled deeply, ”I’ll make sure to pass your words on to Arlo.”

”...Second Brother, you’re too wicked!”

Dawn smiled warmly and gentlemanly at Nico, ”Being close to you, I’ve been influenced by your darkness, can’t help it.”

”Damn it! I’m not taking the blame for this!!” Nico jumped up angrily.

In the interrogation room, the deputy chief personally opened the door for Arlo Seys and invited him inside.

Arlo Seys lifted his leg and walked into the interrogation room.

Susan Saxton, who was being interrogated, heard movement at the door and lifted her eyes to look over. She saw Arlo Seys’s tall figure walk in, his face cold and detached, exuding unparalleled nobility.

Upon seeing Arlo Seys, Susan immediately stood up, her eyes misty, her expression panicked, ”Young Master Seys, you’re here! You have to tell them the necklace was given to me by you! I didn’t steal it! And you invited me to the hotel, the one who slept with me was you, not those two disgusting men!”

As Arlo Seys entered, someone immediately brought a chair and respectfully invited him to sit.

Arlo Seys sat down leisurely, his expression unchanged, his gaze slowly moving from Susan to the police officer conducting the interrogation, his tone light and casual, ”I’m here to confront her and clear my name.”

The officer conducting the interrogation immediately nodded, smiling respectfully, ”Please speak, we’re recording, sorry for troubling you, Young Master Seys.”

Arlo nodded lightly, his gaze moved to Susan, his thin lips pressed together, he spoke calmly, ”The necklace is...”

Susan was filled with joy and tears, yelling at the police officer conducting the interrogation, ”I told you, the necklace was given to me by Young Master Seys! Now do you believe me!!”

The police officer conducting the interrogation looked at the yelling Susan with disgust and admonished, ”Keep quiet! It’s not your turn to speak now! Answer only when asked!” Then, with a smile, he faced Arlo Seys, ”Young Master Seys, please continue.”

Arlo’s eyes glanced at Susan’s pale face, his gaze holding contempt and coldness, as he continued, ”The necklace was given to my fiancée,” Arlo held the necklace, which the police had retrieved from the hotel, in his hand, his lips smiling, his gaze gentle, even his tone was soft and pleasant, ”This necklace was a token of love I gave to my fiancée eight years ago. The brand is ’EX’, and each person can only customize items from this brand once in their lifetime, and an ID must be submitted with the application for customization to even have the opportunity to purchase it. Therefore, each customer has a purchase record archive. If you don’t believe me, your police department can request ’EX’ to extract the customer information archive from eight years ago, to verify whether what I said is true.”

The interrogating officer immediately nodded and smiled, ”Thank you, Young Master Seys, for your cooperation.”

Susan’s face was filled with despair, every word Arlo Seys said had thrown her into a bottomless pit. She looked at him and shouted furiously, ”Why? Why? Arlo Seys! You’re ruining me! You said it was obtained at the charity auction!”

Arlo Seys cast a glance at Susan and sneered coldly, ”Miss Saxton, every item auctioned at a charity event is recorded, use your brain even when lying! This necklace is a high-end custom piece from EX, not something from a charity auction!” Arlo said, turning his gaze to the police officer conducting the interrogation and continued calmly, ”To prove my innocence, I can provide the police with records of every item auctioned at last night’s event.”
