Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 463: Chapter 463: Is Era Busy Recently?

With a ’plop’ sound, as Nicole’s voice fell, a scream and a splash into the pool echoed.

Just having walked away a bit, Ariel Morris heard Nicole’s scream and immediately turned back.

Nicole, suddenly released and fallen into the water, stood soaked in the pool, wiped the water off her face, and her vision cleared. She glared at the person on the shore, ”Jose Floyd!!”

”Didn’t you say let go? I just did what you said.” Cold words were spat out from his icy lips.

”Nicole!” Ariel quickly turned back, seeing Nicole fallen into the water, she immediately stretched out her hand to her.

Nicole bit her lip, glared at Jose Floyd, handed her hand to Ariel, and with Ariel’s help, got onto the shore.

Ariel looked at the soaked Nicole and mocked Jose Floyd: ”You’re so unaware of being gentle with women, which woman would want to love you?! You should learn from Brother Langdon, be a bit more gentle, that’s how you attract girls.”

Jose Floyd glanced at Ariel, ”You speak as if you’re in love with my gentle brother.”

Meaning, if Langdon Seal is gentle, why not like him? Why choose the indifferent Arlo Seys?

Ariel: ...

How come this King Yama has such a sharp tongue?! Doesn’t he usually not speak? Why can his words make people furious?!

Now even Ariel joins the ranks of glaring angrily at Jose Floyd.

Facing the angry stares of two women, Jose Floyd strode towards the house, his back cold.

Ariel looked at Jose Floyd’s back and mocked: ”Why do I feel Jose Floyd is a bit against my idol? Is he jealous that my idol is more perfect than him?”

Facing Ariel’s thick-skinned comment, Nicole was silent for three seconds, then nodded seriously, ”...Maybe.”

Ariel agreed, ”I think that’s it! Men’s jealousy can be quite scary.”

Nicole silently lifted her leg and headed inside, not wanting to engage further.

Because of Jose Floyd’s presence, Ariel and Nicole ate their meal very ladylike, without making a single sound, not daring to offend the King Yama in front of them.

After dinner, the two sneaked off hand in hand, heading to the bedroom on the second floor.

Returning to Ariel’s room, the two sat on the bed playing with their phones.

Ariel scrolled through Weibo, and the top headline these days was the news about Lydia Brooke, a popular rising actress, only because Lydia Brooke replaced the original Era Investments’ lead actress Valeria Johnson in starring the youth idol drama ”Ten Years, We’re Still Good,” airing on multiple prime time slots on major satellite channels.

Lydia Brooke is a rising actress who partnered with film emperor Langdon Seal in this drama; the first two episodes just aired and received rave reviews, directly taking the top spot in ratings.

As the lead actress, Lydia Brooke was thoroughly successful, and her value skyrocketed.

After browsing Weibo, Ariel remembered that this drama was invested by Era Investments, recalled the unexplained tension and cold state with Arlo Seys recently, Ariel pursed her lips and sent a message to congratulate Arlo Seys.

”’Ten Years, We’re Still Good’ aired with rave reviews, congratulations as the investor~~~!”

Sending out the message, she received no response, and Ariel’s grip on the phone stiffened slightly.

”Ariel, what are you doing? Why are you daydreaming?” Nicole nudged her with her elbow.

Ariel snapped back, smiling faintly, ”It’s nothing, just feeling a bit restless lately.” Ariel thought for a moment, turned her head to look at Nicole lying beside her, and asked softly, ”Nicole, is Era very busy lately?”

Nicole paused, ”I’m not very busy, but Callan Walkers and my brother are busy running in and out all day, constantly having meetings, don’t know what they’re busy with.”
