Chapter 455: Chapter 455 Ariel Morris’s Background [4]

Damien Morris said Hendrik Morris was unwell and unavailable to answer the phone, coldly hanging up on Cherry Morris. Cherry immediately took her son Jorge Saxton back to City C to visit Hendrik, only to find out that Hendrik had been lying in the hospital for two months without waking.

All the Morris Clan’s enterprise had fallen under Damien Morris’s control. With the proxy authorization signed by Hendrik Morris before he fainted, Damien acted as chairman, and even his daughter Cherry Morris was not qualified to challenge him.

Cherry Morris suspected Hendrik’s sudden coma and saw through Damien Morris and Kylie as the wolf siblings they were—traitorous wolves!

Several months passed, and from City T came news that the Saxton Family had welcomed a noble child. Everyone thought the child was from the legitimate wife, without questioning that it was born of a mistress. Only then did Cherry find out that the night she had spent with Benny Saxton was a trap set by Kylie Morris and Benny, resulting in both Cherry and Kylie becoming pregnant. People thought the boy was Cherry’s son, while Kylie, due to Cherry’s return to City C to care for her father, took over her place and became known as Mrs. Saxton among outsiders.

The next day, Hendrik Morris’s condition worsened. As he was about to pass, he finally woke up. Cherry Morris stood by the bed with her son, tears streaming down her face.

Hendrik Morris only said one phrase to his daughter and grandson before passing away. And that phrase made Cherry Morris understand everything. Hendrik’s words were: ”Beware---Damien Morris and Kylie---take back the Morris Clan.”

Upon Hendrik’s death, Cherry Morris was heavily impacted, with unbearable abdominal pain signaling premature birth.

Four-year-old Jorge Saxton stood outside the delivery room, listening to his mother’s screams of pain, his small face cold as frost.

Over an hour later, Cherry Morris was wheeled out of the delivery room, and Doctor Walters, the obstetrics director, carried a lifeless, purple-skinned girl out, telling them the child had no breath since birth.

Cherry Morris couldn’t bear the blow, immediately hemorrhaging heavily, and was taken back into the emergency room, emerging three hours later.

With her father’s death, betrayal by her husband and sisters, loss of assets, daughter’s death, under such heavy blows, Cherry Morris became increasingly melancholic and physically weaker after being discharged.

Finally one day, she called her good friend Olivia Summer from City T, entrusting Jorge Saxton to Olivia before bidding farewell to the world at twenty-eight.

Like her father Hendrik Morris, Cherry left only a message for her son Jorge Saxton.

”Jorge, life is long, and mom can’t stay with you. Remember mom’s final instruction: Grandpa didn’t die of illness; it was man-made. The Morris Clan is Grandpa’s life’s work and is ours — the Morris Family’s. You must take it back from that beast Damien Morris! Jorge, your sister is too small, and mom is going to take care of her below. You are a man and must be strong. You must avenge Grandpa; do not let Damien Morris and Laura go unpunished. Listen to Aunt Olivia Summer, and do not easily trust anyone, especially your father!”

Olivia Summer laid Cherry Morris’s tombstone beside Hendrik Morris’s, taking Jorge Saxton back to City T and delivering him to Benny Saxton, telling him Cherry was dead, hoping he could treat Jorge well.

Olivia Summer believed Benny, despite lacking responsibility, would at least take care of his own son. But she overestimated the concept of humanity! Humanity isn’t something everyone possesses!

Two months after sending Jorge to the Saxton Family, a battered Jorge suddenly showed up at Olivia’s door, fainting in her arms and weakly saying, ”Aunt Olivia Summer, save me...”

Olivia Summer rescued the young Jorge Saxton, realizing the deep pit the Saxton Family represented meant Jorge could never return there. Once Jorge’s wounds had healed, Olivia secretly sent him out of the country...
