Chapter 494: Chapter 494: Arrest Them Immediately!

When Ariel Morris appeared in the video again, it was already forty minutes later.

At this moment, a squad leader exclaimed: ”Everyone look, the necklace around Young Madam Seys’s neck is missing!!”

That one sentence woke up everyone in the office.

The deputy director scolded: ”Rewind and check, was the necklace there before Young Madam Seys entered the blind spot!”

The officer switched the screen and rewound back.

As Ariel Morris left with a woman, the necklace was still around her neck, and after she entered the corridor, another woman was trailing behind her.

In the video forty minutes later, when Ariel Morris reappears, the necklace was no longer on her neck.

After watching the tape, the deputy director slammed the table and said excitedly: ”These are the two suspects!! The two women who disappeared from the video with Young Madam Seys are the ones who stole the necklace!!”

The deputy director looked ingratiatingly at Arlo Seys and respectfully said: ”Young Master Seys, do you know these two women?”

Arlo Seys kept a frigid face and did not reply. Next to him, Callan Walkers answered the deputy director’s question ’helpfully’: ”One of them is Scarlett Morris from the Morris Family, and the other is named Susan Saxton! From City T!”

The deputy director slammed the table and instructed his subordinates: ”Bring these two women to the police station for tea!!”

At this moment, Nico Haynes suddenly blurted out in surprise: ”Huh! Isn’t one of these women supposed to meet Levi Sutton after tonight’s banquet?”

The deputy director immediately turned his attention to Nico Haynes, eagerly asking: ”Young Master Haynes, do you know one of these women?”

Nico Haynes shook his head, looking innocent, ”Who knows her! Does Levi Sutton? He’s the son of the deputy director of the tax bureau! Yes, that brat. I heard him talking to this woman about some date after the banquet, I think the hotel for the date is called something,” Nico scratched his head, thought for a moment, then slammed the table: ”Four Seasons Hotel! They arranged at the Four Seasons Hotel in the commercial center on Southborder Street!”

Nico Haynes pointed to the image of Susan Saxton frozen on the screen.

The deputy director slapped the table and sternly ordered: ”Team one, go to the Morris Family and invite Scarlett Morris for tea! Team two, go to Four Seasons Hotel to catch Susan Saxton!”

The captain of team two said in a low voice: ”Young Master Haynes said that Susan Saxton is on a date with the deputy director of the tax bureau’s son. If the son doesn’t let us take her, won’t we offend the deputy director of the tax bureau...”

Just as team two’s captain finished speaking, the deputy director instinctively looked at the young master of the Seys Family sitting in the chair.

Arlo Seys’s face darkened further, becoming even colder and more displeased.

The deputy director, reading the situation, straightened his body, slapped his subordinate team two’s captain on the head, and scolded: ”We enforce the law impartially! No matter who the other person is! If Levi Sutton tries to stop us, also bring him in for tea! It’s our duty as police to serve the people, leaving no criminal unpunished!!”

Arlo Seys’s expression softened a bit, and he nodded slightly at the deputy director.

Receiving his response, the deputy director breathed a sigh of relief and turned back to glare at his subordinate team two’s captain.

Serves him right being a subordinate! Lacking even this bit of perception, how dare you compare the son of a deputy director of the tax bureau to the Crown Prince of the Seys Family?

Even if you offend the entire tax bureau, you cannot offend the Seys Family!!

Besides, offending the tax bureau, how does that concern the police station? Can the tax bureau extend its reach into the police station? Moreover, he’s handling matters for the Seys Family! Let the tax bureau try to cause trouble?

Any resentment, you’d better hold it in!!

The deputy director thought this as he straightened his back and slapped the table to issue commands: ”Arrest them immediately!”

”Yes!!”
