Callan nodded, immediately started the car, and drove to the police station.

-

Police Station.

The deputy director was woken up in the middle of the night, cursing at his subordinates, feeling irritable. As soon as he heard that the Seys Family had lost something, his drowsiness immediately disappeared, and he rushed to the police station as quickly as possible.

In the police station’s conference room, Arlo Seys sat on a bench, his expression cold, with Callan standing beside him, while Nico Haynes and Dawn Sutherland sat on another bench.

The Seys Family’s Crown Prince came to the police station late at night saying a valuable item was lost. The deputy director stood in front of Arlo Seys, scrutinizing his displeased expression, while cursing the thief a million times in his heart!

Damn it! Of all people to steal from, why the Seys Family? If the item isn’t recovered, can he still keep his position as deputy director?!!

The deputy director plastered on a smile, carefully inquiring, ”Young Master Seys, exactly what item is lost?”

Arlo Seys’s expression was indifferent, looking quite displeased, he gave a glance to Callan.

Callan nodded and stepped forward, ”At the charity banquet, our President Seys’s fiancée lost a necklace, and this necklace is a token of love given by President Seys to his fiancée eight years ago. This necklace is a high-end custom piece from the ’EX’ brand! There’s no need to elaborate on its value, you can look it up and find out!”

The deputy director cursed the thief again a hundred times in his heart.

To even dare steal from the future Young Madam Seys! And her token of love necklace! Such audacity! No wonder Young Master Seys’s face looks so displeased! Having something so valuable and meaningful stolen, could one feel relaxed?!

The deputy director immediately nodded respectfully, saying, ”I will check it right away! I assure you the lost necklace will be found!”

Callan handed over the videotape to the deputy director and politely said, ”This is the surveillance footage from the banquet, you can see if there are any clues, and also get a look at what the necklace looks like! Our President Seys demands that the necklace is found as soon as possible!”

The deputy director gave several frightened glances at Arlo Seys, who remained silent, nodding like pounding garlic, ”Understood! I’ll ensure the necklace is found with the utmost speed!” The deputy director turned to his subordinates, yelling, ”What are you standing around for? Call several team leaders for a meeting immediately! Play the videotape to find clues!”

Upon hearing that the Seys Family had lost something, several police team leaders had already hastily rushed to the police station in the middle of the night.

A group of people sat in the office, watching the surveillance footage of the banquet on the screen.

On the red carpet, the scene of Ariel Morris walking in with Jorge Saxton arm in arm, Callan pointed to the people on the screen saying, ”This is our President Seys’s fiancée, they plan to marry next year, and the necklace she is wearing around her neck is the one lost tonight!”

The police station captain and the chief focused all their attention on the necklace.

The subordinate paused the image, zooming in to show everyone the necklace.

Two minutes passed, the deputy director sternly ordered, ”That’s enough, we recognize the necklace now, continue playing the footage! Pay attention everyone, the necklace is still on Young Madam Seys’s neck at this point, note when it disappears, identify the suspect!”

”Yes!” The team leaders responded in unison.

The footage continued playing, showing Ariel Morris socializing with business people alongside Jorge Saxton, while all the police station’s personnel kept their eyes focused on the necklace around her neck.

The necklace remained hanging around Ariel Morris’s neck.

The deputy director impatiently ordered his subordinate, ”Fast forward! The whole banquet lasts several hours, how long do we have to watch this?”

What if Young Master Seys gets impatient and angry? The deputy director certainly didn’t want to retire so early! It was crucial to find the necklace as quickly as possible!

A police officer casually switched to another scene. The footage showed Ariel Morris walking away with another woman, but it only captured her heading towards the staircase, then the display reached a dead spot with no sign of Ariel Morris....
