Chapter 489: Chapter 489 I am willing to give myself to you

Susan Saxton entered the hotel, holding a room card and took the elevator to room 1606.

She swiped the card, pushed the door open, and saw Arlo Seys standing in front of the window, gazing at the scenery outside.

Arlo Seys had an excellent disposition, even his casual stance exuded nobility and elegance to the fullest, his back tall and upright, causing Susan’s heart to pound wildly.

A perfect man like Arlo Seys was indeed rare; whether family background, appearance, or capabilities, he was outstanding. Susan’s infatuation with Arlo Seys deepened even further.

Susan walked in and casually closed the door behind her. She approached Arlo Seys step by step, feeling both nervous and excited.

”Young Master Seys...” Susan approached, her voice tinged with shyness.

Arlo Seys turned around slightly, holding a goblet in his hand, his cold eyes looked at Susan, his tone indifferent: ”I’ve been waiting for you for a long time.”

Susan felt elated, maintaining a composed demeanor with her noblewoman’s etiquette, deliberately making her voice small and shy as she said, ”Special Assistant Walkers said you have something for me.”

Arlo Seys nodded, a faint smile playing at his lips: ”There’s a necklace from the earlier auction tonight that I thought would suit you. I asked Callan to invite you over so I could give it to you.”

”Thank you.” Susan’s face bore a shy expression, her voice very, very soft.

Arlo Seys took out a jewelry box, opened it, and handed it in front of Susan, revealing an exquisite necklace inside.

Susan’s gaze was captivated by the delicate necklace, the heart-shaped pendant with the character ’Seys’ in the middle, large and luxurious in diamonds, which Susan liked at first sight.

”This necklace is really beautiful!” Susan reached out intending to take it and put it on. The necklace clearly looked valuable, and she liked it very much.

Just as her hand was reaching out, Arlo Seys snapped the jewelry box closed, his expression calm: ”This necklace needs an appropriate evening gown to match it. Tomorrow I’ll have Callan send you a gown to wear it with.”

His thoughtfulness made Susan even more delighted, and she immediately nodded, ”Thank you, Young Master Seys.”

Arlo Seys remained indifferent, holding his wine and pouring a glass for Susan from the bottle, handing it to her, his tone indifferent: ”Have a drink.”

Susan, already dizzy from Arlo’s proactive invitation and gift of the necklace, immediately reached out to take the wine glass, ”Young Master Seys, I’m really glad you invited me and gave me this. Actually... actually, I really liked you from the first moment I saw you.”

Arlo Seys’s expression did not change, still indifferent, taking a sip of red wine, he asked in a low voice: ”How much do you like me?”

Susan drank a glass of red wine, her face blushing, looking at the indifferent Arlo Seys, mustering the courage to step forward, her voice carrying tension: ”I—I can give myself to you...”

Arlo Seys finished his wine, poured Susan another glass, and looked at her with deep eyes.

His unwavering gaze made Susan’s face flush with heat, uncertain whether it was due to the wine or her own inability to control her feelings, Susan felt her whole body heating up, a warmth she couldn’t resist releasing.

Susan gathered her courage, slowly slipped off her evening gown, looking at Arlo Seys with a charming smile, her voice softer than water: ”Young Master Seys, I like you.”

Arlo Seys watched Susan’s actions, his eyelids unmoved, no waves in his expression, he merely handed the wine to Susan. Susan hesitated for a moment but still reached out to take the second glass of wine, anxiously and nervously waiting for Arlo Seys to speak.

Arlo Seys’s lips curved slightly, his voice low as he said: ”Isn’t it for the man to take the initiative in this kind of situation? Susan, you’ve stolen my role.”
