Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Upon hearing Wu Song’s words, Lu Yu narrowed his eyes slightly, then looked at the box in Wu Song’s hand in front of him, with a hint of confusion in his eyes.

He had encountered this method of anonymously sending packages more than once or twice before, but they had always been in the form of letter packages, whereas sending boxes like this was a first for him.

In an instant, a sense of alertness surged within Lu Yu’s heart!

”Wu Song, you step outside.”

Thinking of this, Lu Yu spoke, ”When you go outside, make sure you close the door behind you!”

This time Lu Yu didn’t ask about the courier’s information because he knew that there was simply no need to ask.

Since the other party would anonymously send him such a box, it indicated that they would not reveal their identity, so trying to track down the courier was futile.

And upon seeing this box, for some reason, an extremely dangerous feeling suddenly surged from Lu Yu’s back, which is why he had Wu Song step outside early.

”Yes, boss!”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, Wu Song immediately replied, then turned around and walked out of the security department.

The moment Wu Song left the security department, Lu Yu didn’t hesitate for a second, and he immediately, with the fastest speed, opened the gift box in his hand.

After opening the gift box, Lu Yu’s gaze sank as he looked into the box, and then he instantly froze!

Because right there in the box lay a fist-sized square object, and on top of the square was a series of numbers, which actually displayed a time!

Fifteen seconds!

On the square object, it startlingly displayed fifteen seconds of time!

”Damn it! A homemade C4 detonation device!”

Seeing the scene before him, Lu Yu cursed under his breath.

Simultaneously, he grabbed the homemade C4 detonation device in his hand and headed directly to the front of the safe in the security department!

The homemade C4 detonation device is a small explosive device created with extremely simple methods. Such a device is small in size, has decent power, and can be self-made — absolutely dangerous!

And the homemade C4 detonation device before him was just such a device. Not only that, but it was also a timed detonation device, and there were still fifteen seconds left on its timer!

Seeing this, Lu Yu wasted no time. He grabbed the homemade C4 detonation device in his hand and without any further ado, opened an empty safe in the security department and without hesitation, directly placed the homemade detonation device into it.

The item safe in the security department is made of steel plates, with the thickness of the steel plates reaching over one centimeter, extremely sturdy.

Such safes are usually used to store valuable items in the security department. So now Lu Yu stuffed the homemade C4 detonation device inside, hoping to leverage this to offset the homemade C4 detonation device’s power!

Having placed the homemade C4 detonation device into the item safe, Lu Yu immediately locked the item safe.

Simultaneously, he directly turned around and rushed towards the outside of the security department!

One must know that although the homemade C4 detonation device’s power is not very large, it is definitely not small either. While such a safe can withstand certain power, it cannot entirely negate it.

Bang!

As Lu Yu rushed out of the security department, a loud bang instantly rang out, the sound so intense that it made the walls of the security department tremble!

Upon hearing this muffled sound, Lu Yu immediately opened the door of the security department, and upon looking inside, he appeared utterly shocked.

Before him, the one-centimeter-thick steel plate safe had completely shattered into pieces, the metal walls entirely twisted and deformed, the explosion-induced airflow causing files within the security department to fly about, looking exceedingly chaotic.

But fortunately, Lu Yu handled it properly, using this safe to resist most of the homemade C4 detonation device’s power.

Otherwise, the entire office would have been in danger!

”Fortunately!”

Seeing the scene before him, Lu Yu slowly exhaled, his eyes cold as ice!

With the homemade C4 detonation device’s power, capable of twisting and shattering the pure steel safe’s walls into pieces.

If he had realized this thing a bit later and let it explode in his hands, even if he were made of iron, he would have suffered fatal injuries!

Now Lu Yu immediately understood that the person who sent this gift box wanted him dead!

Buzz!

While Lu Yu silently pondered this, in an instant, Lu Yu’s phone rang again.

The ringing of the phone echoed, its sound appearing extremely abrupt.

Hearing the sound, Lu Yu directly pulled out his phone, only to find it was an unknown number calling.

Upon seeing this number, Lu Yu’s heart skipped a beat, then he directly pressed the call button, put the phone to his ear, and said, ”Hello? It’s Lu Yu!”

”Lu Yu, looks like you’re still alive.”

As soon as the phone connected, a playful voice instantly came through the phone, ”How about the welcome gift I sent you, do you like it?”

The voice on the phone carried a hint of amusement, with an air of confidence between the lines.

”You bastard.”

Upon hearing this confident and playful voice on the phone, Lu Yu coldly spoke, ”This gift box was sent by you?!”

”I sent it!”

As soon as Lu Yu said this, the confident voice in the phone continued, ”You managed to dodge it. Seems like you have some skills, not just some wannabe!”

Speaking to this point, the voice paused slightly before continuing, ”As I just said, this is merely a greeting gift, to say hello to you. After this, I have more methods to play with you, so just wait patiently!”

”Kid, let me tell you something.”

Upon hearing this confident voice on the phone, Lu Yu spoke, ”You’re courting death!”

Now Lu Yu’s eyes flashed a hint of killing intent, and his words carried a chilling aura, showing intense anger.

Lu Yu was extremely displeased with the other party sending him a homemade C4 detonation device!

”Is that so?”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, the voice on the phone replied coldly, ”Well, let me see which of us will die first!”

”Remember that you shouldn’t relax your vigilance even when sleeping, because I can appear by your side at any time, and if you’re not careful, I’ll take your life!”

The speaker spoke harshly, the words filled with a murderous aura.

”I’ll see it through!”

Upon hearing this, Lu Yu spoke coldly, his words filled with icy chill.
