Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

After watching Jiang Angge leave, Lu Yu took the elevator back to Leng Qingqiu’s office.

Sitting in front of Leng Qingqiu’s desk, Lu Yu raised his eyes and looked at the Leng Qingqiu in front of him, saying, ”What made you think of negotiating cooperation with him?”

Lu Yu’s words were full of questions, intertwined with a hint of playfulness.

As the president of Victory Group, Leng Qingqiu was undoubtedly a very shrewd woman. Yet, today, such an incredibly shrewd woman was discussing cooperation with Jiang Angge, which made Lu Yu somewhat surprised.

”It wasn’t me who took the initiative to talk about cooperation with him.”

Hearing the playfulness in Lu Yu’s words, Leng Qingqiu said indifferently, ”Victory Group is currently looking for more partners, and after they saw the information, it’s only natural that they came to discuss cooperation.”

In her words, Leng Qingqiu’s voice carried a sense of calmness, with a trace of heaviness; she was very helpless about this matter.

”Oh?”

Upon hearing this, Lu Yu smiled slightly and then said, ”So, you’re also unwilling to cooperate with them, then?”

Lu Yu’s words carried a slight smile.

”Of course.”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Leng Qingqiu said, ”I’ve been running Victory Group for quite a while now, I’m not a newbie or a naive girl. I have a clear account of which companies are suitable for cooperation and which aren’t.”

In her words, Leng Qingqiu spoke indifferently.

Although she seemed indifferent, her words inevitably revealed a hint of explanation: ”I’ve investigated Jiang Angge’s Tianhe Group thoroughly. Their company has only been established for three years, and their net profit grows by 8% annually. I absolutely don’t trust such figures.”

For five years, Leng Qingqiu had been immersed in the business circle of Lin’an City, extremely familiar with the operations within. She was well aware that a three-year-old company’s net profit couldn’t possibly grow by 8% every year!

Understandably, running a business involves both profits and losses, and a typical company’s profit growth surpassing 3% a year is already quite remarkable.

Jiang Angge’s Tianhe Group, however, maintains a steady annual 8% net profit increase, which only two possibilities could explain!

Either Jiang Angge’s Tianhe Group is cooking the books, or the Tianhe Group has some unknown means to ensure continual profits.

And either of these possibilities means Leng Qingqiu would never cooperate with them!

”So you’ve seen through it all, huh?”

Upon hearing Leng Qingqiu’s explanation, Lu Yu smiled slightly and said, ”That puts my mind at ease. Jiang Angge definitely isn’t someone we should be dealing with. Victory Group would be better off avoiding them.”

Lu Yu’s words were indifferent, and as he slowly turned, he looked at Leng Qingqiu in front of him and said, ”Alright, since you’re aware of this, I’m much more relieved. I’ll take my leave now.”

Based on Lu Yu’s analysis, Jiang Angge was the third young master in charge of the Jiang Family’s enterprises, so naturally, Tianhe Group was also an asset of the Jiang Family.

And given that the Jiang Family and Lu Yu were outright enemies, Lu Yu’s priority was preventing Victory Group from unknowingly cooperating with the Jiang Family!

Since doing so meant that when Lu Yu took action against the Jiang Family, Victory Group would also suffer losses.

But now, knowing that Leng Qingqiu doesn’t plan to cooperate with Tianhe Group makes things very favorable for Lu Yu!

”So, you came to stop me from cooperating with Jiang Angge?”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, Leng Qingqiu opened her mouth, her eyes filled with depth: ”I didn’t realize you cared so much about the company’s affairs!”

”You could say that.”

With a leisurely smile, Lu Yu said, his words full of humor. For such matters, there was no need for denial: ”After all, if Victory Group encounters any issue, my salary might be affected, right?”

”Alright then.”

Hearing this, Leng Qingqiu gently shook her head and then said, ”In that case, why not help me analyze how to deal with the Tianhe Group next? Judging from Jiang Angge’s attitude, I doubt he’ll give up so easily after just one rejection.”

Leng Qingqiu spoke now, her words full of inquiry.

All of Jiang Angge’s words and actions had been observed by her, and the foresight in cutting-edge technology promised enormous profits, making it unlikely for Jiang Angge to give up easily!

”That’s not something you need to worry about.”

Hearing Leng Qingqiu’s concern, Lu Yu smiled slightly and then said, ”I can assure you, after Jiang Angge returns this time, he won’t have the energy to bother you again.”

Since Lu Yu had already determined Jiang Angge was indeed the third young master of the Jiang Family, what he needed to do next was to take action against Jiang Angge, thus keeping him from troubling Victory Group…

Meanwhile, in Europe, within the private castle of the Dark Sanctuary.

The Gothic castle remained mysterious and dark, exuding a unique beauty with an artistic vibe.

In the black chapel of the castle, ten men dressed in black garments sat around a large round table, each with a somber expression. They were whispering among themselves, their gazes uniformly directed at two empty chairs, eyes filled with complex expressions.

These men were the Black Knights of the Dark Sanctuary. Unlike usual, there were only ten of them present at the round table now.

The Black Knights now all looked towards Alfred’s seat, a sense of heaviness flickering within them.

At this moment, they all had a vague premonition.

That Jilexius III calling them here this time was definitely not for good news.

Step, step!

As two heavy footsteps slowly approached, Julius III entered, carrying a laptop, looking very displeased with a heavy expression.

”Leader!”

As Julius III walked in, the ten Black Knights instantly rose, speaking with unified respect.

”Be at ease.”

Seeing the Black Knights saluting, Julius III spoke, his tone somber: ”Today, I must break a painful news to everyone, our brother, Knight Alfred, has unfortunately perished!”
