Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

The next day, in the security department of the Victory Group.

Lu Yu was sitting quietly in front of his computer watching a movie. His eyes were fixed on the screen, and he appeared quite relaxed.

As the saying goes, ”stealing a moment of leisure in a busy life”—such leisurely times have become quite rare.

Buzz!

Just as Lu Yu was watching his movie, his phone suddenly rang. The crisp ringtone echoed clearly and abruptly in the quiet security department.

Hearing the sound, Lu Yu shifted his gaze and found that the caller was none other than Luo Lie, who had tea with him not long ago.

Luo Lie?

Seeing the caller’s name on the phone screen, Lu Yu smiled slightly, paused the movie, picked up the phone, and pressed the call button, saying, ”Hello?”

Although he wasn’t keen on the organization, Lu Yu had a good impression of Luo Lie.

This Luo Lie not only always charged forward on the front lines but had also helped him more than once. So, compared to Qin Ge, Wang Zhenjiang, and the entire Shadow Sword organization, Lu Yu leaned more toward Luo Lie.

That’s why, when Luo Lie’s call came in, Lu Yu answered it so readily.

”Lu Yu, I just saw a document we received from the Capital.”

Hearing Lu Yu’s voice, Luo Lie cut straight to the chase, displaying a highly professional and efficient demeanor.

”Oh?”

Upon hearing this, Lu Yu’s eyebrows slightly raised, and he asked, ”What’s the content of this document?”

Like him, Luo Lie was a practical person, so he wouldn’t call to chat about trivial matters.

So Luo Lie calling this time must mean something important had been sent from the Capital.

”This document is a notice for all police stations and the Ministry of State Security to jointly search for Jiang Ziqing and Jiang Qingyun!”

Hearing Lu Yu’s question, Luo Lie got straight to the point and revealed the document’s purpose to Lu Yu.

A search notice for Jiang Ziqing and Jiang Qingyun?!

Upon hearing this, Lu Yu’s expression froze for a moment, then he showed a deep, enigmatic smile.

”It seems!”

Thinking about this, Lu Yu slowly spoke, ”The Jiang Family has sensed something is wrong and is starting to investigate the whereabouts of Jiang Ziqing and Jiang Qingyun!”

”That’s right.”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Luo Lie paused slightly, then asked, ”What should we do now?”

As of now, Luo Lie wanted to know what Lu Yu planned to do about this matter.

”Have you dealt with Jiang Ziqing and Jiang Qingyun’s bodies?”

Slowly, Lu Yu asked with a playful tone, his face calm, as if discussing something trivial.

”All taken care of.”

Hearing Lu Yu’s question, Luo Lie replied, ”The bodies, traces, surveillance footage, and Lei Guangyuan—all handled meticulously. Now Jiang Ziqing and Jiang Qingyun are like they’ve vanished into thin air; no one can trace them!”

Luo Lie spoke with great confidence, clearly satisfied with how he had handled Jiang Ziqing and Jiang Qingyun.

”The organization is impressive.”

Hearing this, Lu Yu quipped, laughing, ”To make someone vanish just like that—impressive.”

”Lu Yu, now’s not the time for jokes.”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, there was a hint of urgency in Luo Lie’s voice: ”What do we do now?”

”Didn’t you say they’ve vanished into thin air?”

Amused, Lu Yu replied, ”Since they’ve already vanished, let them search. With your Shadow Sword’s capabilities, this shouldn’t be an issue, right?”

”We, at Shadow Sword, are confident in dealing with the police and the Ministry of State Security without leaving a trace.”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Luo Lie continued, ”But the Jiang Family won’t give up. After all, it’s Jiang Tianyi’s two youngest sons who are missing this time!”

”I feel that Jiang Tianyi will send family members to Lin’an. I’m asking you how to handle this.”

Luo Lie’s voice was low and full of worry.

”Your feeling is quite accurate.”

Hearing Luo Lie, Lu Yu said, ”Jiang Angge, have you heard of him?”

”Jiang Angge?!”

Immediately, Luo Lie’s surprised voice came through the phone, ”He’s Jiang Tianyi’s third son, the CEO of Jiang Family’s Tianhe Group. Has he contacted you?!”

Luo Lie was shocked; even he hadn’t expected the Jiang Family to act so quickly!

”Not exactly. At least he doesn’t know my identity yet. He was only here to discuss cooperation with the Victory Group, and I scared him away with a few words, nothing more.”

In his words, Lu Yu didn’t hide anything, given his alliance with Shadow Sword, planning to share appropriate information with them.

”Alright then.”

Hearing Lu Yu, Luo Lie’s voice steadied, ”If you’re free later, how about we meet at a pub to discuss this over a drink?”

Clearly, Luo Lie had things to discuss with Lu Yu as well.

”No problem. In two hours, pick a place, and I’ll meet you.”

Lu Yu calmly responded to Luo Lie’s suggestion.

”Alright, I’ll contact you later!”

With agreement, Luo Lie said, ”Talk later then.”

”Talk later.”

With a subtle smile, Lu Yu hung up the phone.

”It seems the Jiang Family is finally making a move.”

Smiling slightly after hanging up the phone, Lu Yu said, ”Alright, let’s see how they play!”

His voice was steady, evoking a seasoned air.

Bang bang bang!

Right as Lu Yu said this, a knock came from the security department, followed by the door opening.

Wu Song, on duty, brought in a beautifully wrapped box.

”Boss, your package.”

Carrying the package, Wu Song approached Lu Yu with a grin.

”My package?”

Surprised, Lu Yu looked at Wu Song and asked, ”What package?”

Lu Yu was puzzled; he hadn’t ordered anything or done anything that warranted a package.

”This package.”

Wu Song patted the beautifully wrapped box, saying, ”It just arrived by courier, and it’s addressed to you.”
