Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

After coming out of the deserted residential area, Lu Yu made a call to Meng Yue. After learning their current location, he rushed toward where Meng Yue and her group were.

A dozen minutes later, following the address Meng Yue provided over the phone, Lu Yu arrived at a café next to Lin’an International Airport.

Upon entering the café, he saw Su Nianxue sitting with Meng Yue and the others, sipping a cup of fragrant hot coffee, her emotions mostly stabilized.

Being kidnapped is typically a terrifying event for victims, often leaving them unable to recover for a long time, and sometimes casting a lasting shadow.

However, since Su Nianxue had experienced similar incidents before, she only needed a brief rest to bounce back.

Initially, Su Nianxue wanted to call the police after escaping the scene, but Meng Yue stopped her.

Meng Yue was well aware of Lu Yu’s approach to handling things. She knew deeply that calling the police wouldn’t be helpful and might even cause trouble for Lu Yu.

With this in mind, Meng Yue chose not to have Su Nianxue call the police, instead bringing her to enjoy a hot coffee and quietly waiting for Lu Yu’s return.

After all, Meng Yue had considerable confidence in Lu Yu’s abilities.

Once he arrived at the café, Lu Yu sat directly beside Meng Yue, gazed at Su Nianxue, and said, ”Miss Su Nianxue, I’m really sorry for putting you through this because of me.”

The root of this incident was Alfred’s attempt to kidnap Su Nianxue to bait Lu Yu into a trap, hence Lu Yu apologized to her.

”Mr. Lu, you don’t need to apologize.”

After resting and having coffee, Su Nianxue had returned to normal. She looked at Lu Yu and said, ”This situation was entirely the kidnappers’ fault. Without your help, Mr. Lu, I’m not even sure I’d have made it back.”

Her response was filled with gratitude for Lu Yu. Since her arrival in Lin’an, Lu Yu had been assisting her continuously.

During her time in Lin’an City, Lu Yu not only resolved her safety concerns but also took care of her concert troubles, leaving Su Nianxue without any resentment toward him.

”That’s good.”

Upon hearing this, Lu Yu nodded and spoke calmly, ”Are you planning to rest a bit before leaving? Or do you wish to stay in Lin’an City a few more days to recuperate?”

Lu Yu’s inquiry was quite composed, as typically, after such incidents, people might need time to settle their nerves.

”I plan to leave by flight directly.”

Hearing this, Su Nianxue smiled faintly and said, ”I’ve faced such situations before, and my studio has lots of pending work, and the company is persistently urging me. I truly can’t stay longer.”

Her voice was filled with an apologetic tone.

If up to her, Su Nianxue would prefer to remain in Lin’an City, but circumstances didn’t allow it.

Ultimately, as a celebrity, she hardly has much personal space available, so her movements aren’t solely determined by her.

”Understandable.”

Upon hearing this, Lu Yu nodded and said, ”Caught up in the flow, aren’t you?”

”Nianxue sister, when do you plan to return after leaving this time?”

A nearby Meng Yue chimed in, ”I’ll miss you.”

Being a woman, naturally, Meng Yue’s emotions ran deep, so she directly remarked this to Su Nianxue.

”Don’t worry, Sister Meng.”

Upon hearing Meng Yue’s words, Su Nianxue smiled and said, ”In about half a year, after my contract with the current entertainment company expires, I plan to open a studio in Lin’an City, and then we can meet every day.”

Her words were filled with laughter, exuding a warm sentiment.

”I’ll be waiting for you.”

Upon hearing Su Nianxue’s words, Meng Yue replied, sounding like a young girl, filled with excitement.

”No problem.”

Upon hearing this, Su Nianxue smiled and responded.

Just then, Su Nianxue’s agent approached slowly, saying, ”Miss Su Nianxue, it’s time for boarding. We should be leaving soon.”

Following this, Su Nianxue nodded, then looked reluctantly at Lu Yu and Meng Yue in front of her and said, ”Mr. Lu, Sister Meng, I’ll be off now. See you in six months.”

”No problem.”

Upon hearing Su Nianxue’s words, Meng Yue said, ”When you come, make sure to call us, and we’ll pick you up.”

Though usually carefree, Meng Yue now showed the sentimentality typical of women, her words tinged with reluctance.

In contrast to Meng Yue’s reluctance, Lu Yu appeared quite composed. He nodded, looked at Su Nianxue, and said, ”Safe travels.”

After witnessing many separations, Lu Yu didn’t feel much about this farewell.

”Mm, when I return, I’ll notify you both.”

Upon hearing Lu Yu and Meng Yue’s words, Su Nianxue nodded and got up to leave with her agent toward the boarding gate.

”Hey, are you cold-blooded? She’s leaving, and you just gave her four words.”

As Su Nianxue walked away, Meng Yue asked, her inquiry full of curiosity.

”It’s just a usual farewell, no need to make it seem like life or death.”

Upon hearing Meng Yue’s words, Lu Yu shook his head and said, ”Besides, she mentioned, right? After her contract expires in six months, she’ll naturally come to Lin’an City to open a studio. Half a year will fly by, so why fuss?”

His words were delivered in a low voice, exuding calmness. He then patted Meng Yue’s shoulder and said, ”Let’s go, I’ll treat you to lunch.”

After a morning of hustle, it was now noon, so Lu Yu told Meng Yue this.

”Why the sudden urge to treat me to lunch?”

Upon hearing this, Meng Yue asked, her tone playful.

”Just a casual meal.”

Upon hearing Meng Yue’s words, Lu Yu smiled, patted her shoulder, and walked out of the café.
