Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Moments later, after Nelson and Leng Qingqiu signed the newly drafted contract, Leng Qingqiu slowly stood up and said to Nelson, ”Mr. Nelson, now that we are in a partnership, I hope we can forget the unpleasant past from today and profit and grow together.”

”Certainly, certainly...”

Hearing Leng Qingqiu’s words, Nelson replied with a respectful tone. As he looked at the freshly drafted contract before him, he felt nothing but deep regret.

Only now did Nelson understand the saying, ”if you don’t invite trouble, it won’t come to you!”

Originally, the profit distribution between Newman Group and Victory Group was very reasonable. Although Victory Group had some advantage in this aspect, the overall profit share was quite fair.

But now, due to a moment of impulse tearing up the original contract, not only did he gain nothing, but he also suffered enormous losses!

First, all six large cooperative enterprises unilaterally tore up their contracts, and now he signed a contract that brought no benefit to Newman Group.

This feeling of losing more than gaining left Nelson feeling utterly helpless.

Moreover, after signing such a contract, he was still unsure if he could win back those six enterprises. This feeling truly made Nelson’s heart ache!

”Mr. Lu, now that I have signed the contract, don’t you think...”

Thinking of this, Nelson looked pitifully at Lu Yu and said, with a hint of helplessness in his voice. At this point, retaining those six partners was the most important thing to Nelson, or he really would be finished.

”Rest assured.”

Seeing Nelson’s pitiful expression, Lu Yu said coldly, ”I have my own measure of this matter, you don’t need to worry too much.”

With these words, Nelson’s face suddenly changed, and he quickly said, ”Thank you, Mr. Lu, thank you, Mr. Lu.”

In his words, Nelson was full of gratitude, appearing extremely excited.

From Lu Yu’s words, he could draw a conclusion that he had completely secured the cooperative opportunities with those six groups!

”Don’t rush to thank me yet.”

Seeing Nelson incessantly thanking him, Lu Yu said indifferently, ”Nelson, I warn you, this time it is our Victory Group’s last tolerance towards you. If you dare to unilaterally tear up the contract or do anything similar again, next time, I won’t be so agreeable. Understand!?”

In his words, Lu Yu’s eyes were coldly fixed on Nelson, filled with a threatening tone.

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Nelson was instantly startled, and as he looked at Lu Yu, a cold shiver ran down his spine. He quickly nodded and said, ”Yes, Mr. Lu is right. I promise this will never happen again!”

In his words, Nelson was humble and appeared extremely apprehensive, giving a very modest impression.

”Better be so.”

Hearing Nelson’s words, Lu Yu said coldly, ”If there is a next time, I won’t be sitting here talking to you calmly!”

With these words, Nelson was shocked, and he shuddered, responding, ”Yes, yes...”

Now Nelson fully understood Lu Yu’s meaning. The fact that Lu Yu was called master by the Assassin Alliance members was enough to indicate his power.

If he truly angered Lu Yu, Nelson would not even know how he died!

This fact was demonstrated by the Maserati incident. If Lu Yu wanted to kill him, it would be as easy as crushing an ant!

”Very well.”

Hearing this, Lu Yu nodded, then looked at Leng Qingqiu and said, ”Since Mr. Nelson has agreed, I think we can conclude our conversation here.”

In his words, Lu Yu’s tone was calm. Now that the contract was signed, the matter was settled, and all that remained was to wait for Newman Group to deliver. Staying here any longer really bore no significance.

Moreover, there was still one matter unfinished, which was Liu Qiguang’s bet that hadn’t been fulfilled. It was also time for him to fulfill his bet.

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Leng Qingqiu also nodded, and at that moment, she slowly stood up and said to Nelson, ”Since that is the case, Mr. Nelson, Manager Lu has already mentioned everything that needed to be said, so here I can only wish us a pleasant cooperation.”

Leng Qingqiu, having long been seasoned in the business world, exuded a decisive aura. She knew that for a partner who once unilaterally tore up a contract, intimidation was much more effective than speaking kindly.

”Pleasant cooperation, pleasant cooperation...”

Hearing the words, Nelson quickly said, his tone full of flattery. Now he thoroughly understood Lu Yu’s power, so apart from cooperating, he really had no other choice.

”In that case, we can now go solve President Liu’s issue.”

Seeing Nelson speak, Lu Yu said indifferently.

”Are you really going to make Liu Qiguang kneel and apologize?”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, Leng Qingqiu said somewhat surprisedly, her voice tinged with disbelief.

In her opinion, the earlier bet was just Lu Yu’s way to shut Liu Qiguang up, so she didn’t take it seriously at the time. But now, hearing Lu Yu’s words, she suddenly realized that Lu Yu might not have intended solely to silence Liu Qiguang!

”Of course.”

Hearing Leng Qingqiu’s words, Lu Yu nodded and said, ”As the saying goes, ’a willing gambler accepts loss.’ Since Liu Qiguang dared to agree to the bet, he should see it through to the end!”

Saying this, Lu Yu smiled slightly at Leng Qingqiu, then added, ”Alright, let’s head down and see how our President Liu fulfills his bet.”

With that, Lu Yu slowly stepped towards the elevator.

Seeing Lu Yu like this, Leng Qingqiu first shook her head, then slowly followed with Xia Bing.

Although she felt this approach was somewhat inappropriate, Jincheng Technology’s Liu Qiguang was really annoying. Without a necessary punishment, given his thick skin, he would surely come back again.
