Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

The six most important partner companies have all unilaterally torn up the cooperation agreements now. This kind of thing hit Nelson like a heavy blow, leaving him somewhat stunned.

”Hiss!”

Taking a deep breath, Nelson slowly lifted his head to look at his subordinate before speaking, ”These six partner companies have all unilaterally torn up the cooperation agreements?”

Nelson’s voice trembled, almost unable to control the fear within him.

”That’s right.”

Upon hearing this, the subordinate replied, sounding very earnest, ”Especially ANZ Investment Bank, which is an important source of funds for us, and Chuangshi Technology. Their recently developed smart glasses have enormous potential, and they agreed to collaborate with us on production just recently...”

”Of course, I know these things!”

Upon hearing the subordinate’s words, Nelson roared loudly, veins bulging on his forehead as he shouted angrily, ”These six companies have always had huge financial dealings with us. Now they’ve unilaterally torn up the cooperation agreements; have they gone mad?!”

In the past, Newman Group and these six companies collaborated to generate significant profits annually, each reaping substantial benefits. Now, with these six companies unilaterally terminating the cooperation agreements, this has truly incensed Nelson!

This severe business incident occurring during his tenure is indeed terrifying!

”Mr. Nelson, I’m not quite clear on the specific reasons...”

Seeing Nelson’s wrath, the subordinate spoke, his voice filled with gloom and resignation. This incident undoubtedly deals a significant blow to Newman Group!

”You still have the nerve to speak!”

Upon hearing the subordinate’s words, Nelson slammed the table and said, ”Why didn’t you tell me about such an important matter sooner?!”

Now Nelson was both angry and fearful. Newman Group had always developed steadily without any mishaps; now suddenly such a situation arose, and it happened during his tenure. If forces behind Newman Group found out, he would face extremely severe punishment!

Hearing Nelson’s words, the subordinate also replied, ”But Mr. Nelson, just now you said not to bother you if there’s nothing urgent; you are not our babysitter, allowing me to discern and handle matters on my own...”

Upon hearing this, Nelson was momentarily stunned, as if he had swallowed a dead fly.

This incident truly seemed to be his decision not to be reported, and at this moment, Nelson’s face felt discomfort, as if slapped.

Even though it was his fault, as CEO, how could he apologize to a subordinate?

Thinking this, he said, ”These six companies and our Newman Group are interconnected, mutually dependent. With such a major issue now, even if I didn’t let you report, couldn’t you have spoken up? Are you all here just for retirement?”

Now, under the psychological pressure of fear, Nelson began shifting the blame onto his subordinate.

Hearing Nelson’s words, a hint of anger surged up in the subordinate’s heart. Communicating with these six companies was originally CEO Nelson’s responsibility. Now such an incident occurred, and Nelson did not notice first; instead, he wanted to shift the blame to the subordinate. Such a situation is intolerable for anyone.

Now, the subordinate already wanted to punch Nelson’s shouting face!

”Go investigate right now, find out why these six companies want to unilaterally terminate the agreement. If you can’t find out, then get out!”

Now Nelson snarled, completely treating the subordinate as a punching bag.

”Sorry!”

Upon hearing Nelson’s words, the subordinate replied coldly, ”You are responsible for these six companies. Now such an incident has occurred, this investigative work should be done by you. This is not a project I’m responsible for!”

”What did you say?”

Upon hearing the subordinate’s words, Nelson said, ”Do you understand the situation? Now I am the CEO; if I tell you to do it, you do it. I am your superior; you have no right to question my authority!”

Bang!

As soon as Nelson finished speaking, the subordinate heavily threw the folder onto the table, looking at Nelson before saying, ”You’re not our babysitter, and I’m not your slave. From now on, I’m no longer an employee of Newman Group!”

”What?”

Upon hearing this from the subordinate, Nelson was completely taken aback. He knew this subordinate in front of him was one of Newman Group’s veteran employees. The team led by him was a crucial force in Newman Group. Now, if such a person suddenly quit, although it wouldn’t significantly impact Newman Group, it would create enormous obstacles for Nelson’s work!

”Besides, in my opinion, you are really an idiot. I’m not willing to continue working for someone who pushes responsibility onto his subordinates once things go wrong, so I quit!”

Even the humblest person has a limit; the subordinate’s words were fierce, giving Nelson no face whatsoever.

”Moreover, before I leave, I want to tell you something.”

At this moment, the subordinate picked up Nelson’s coffee in front of him, sneered, and said, ”Nelson, you are a complete fool!”

With that, the subordinate directly splashed the coffee onto Nelson’s face, then heavily smashed the coffee cup onto the ground, turned around, and walked away.

As the subordinate left, Nelson was completely dumbfounded. He rarely lost his temper, yet before he could finish venting his anger, the subordinate he reprimanded resigned and even splashed coffee on his face, an act that was simply like slapping him in the face!

Watching the subordinate leave, Nelson’s face turned pale with rage. At this moment, he hastily grabbed some tissues to wipe the coffee off his face, simultaneously pulling out his phone, intending to personally contact the heads of these six companies.

Although he was tremendously furious, the urgent task at hand was to uncover why these six companies had all unilaterally canceled the cooperation agreements at the same time.

After all, this matter involves huge implications; if word of this incident reaches the high levels of the forces behind Newman Group, not only will he lose his CEO position, but he will also face severe punishment!

The more he thought about it, the more frightened Nelson became.

But now he paid no attention to the fact that there was less than half an hour left before Lu Yu would call him, as indicated yesterday!
