Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Hearing the surprised tones of Leng Qingqiu and Xia Bing, Nelson felt a thrill in his heart. Judging by their reactions, his display seemed to be quite sincere.

Now as long as Lu Yu nods, the Newman Group might actually be saved!

”That’s right.”

Thinking of this, at this very moment, Nelson spoke up: ”The earlier act of tearing up the contract was entirely the most foolish decision I made in a moment of impulse. For this, I apologize to President Leng and Vice President Xia!”

Nelson’s words were filled with humility, making him seem like a businessperson from another company seeking cooperation, appearing very humble.

Hearing Nelson’s words, Leng Qingqiu and Xia Bing exchanged a glance and nodded with satisfaction.

This situation is undoubtedly very advantageous for Victory Group. The profits from cutting-edge technological products are often enormous, and securing 80% of the total profits is an absolutely terrifying prospect!

Thinking of this, Leng Qingqiu directly handed the contract in her hand to Lu Yu and said, ”Lu Yu, take a look. If there are no issues, I think we can sign it!”

This outcome is entirely due to Lu Yu’s efforts. Although it’s unclear what Lu Yu did over these three days, the fact that this matter could be resolved in this way is entirely due to his credit.

Therefore, handing the contract over to Lu Yu for review is absolutely necessary.

Upon hearing Leng Qingqiu’s words, Lu Yu took the contract, glanced at it with a smile, shook his head, then closed it and tossed it directly back to Nelson.

At the same time, Lu Yu’s gaze showed a hint of mockery as he coldly said, ”Nelson, is this what you call sincerity?”

”N-No...”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Nelson stammered softly.

”Is your idea of sincerity treating us like beggars!?”

Lu Yu’s voice carried a cold tone as he looked at Nelson in front of him, his eyes cold, clearly displeased.

You think you’re treating us like beggars?!

With these words, everyone present, including Leng Qingqiu and Xia Bing, was taken aback.

They never expected that even with the Newman Group proposing such a terrifying 80/20 profit split, Lu Yu would still be unsatisfied!

Even Nelson was extremely shocked; he never imagined that even this terrifying split wouldn’t satisfy Lu Yu in front of him.

”M-Mr. Lu, is there something wrong with this contract?”

Gathering his courage upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, Nelson spoke up: ”This is already the highest profit split our company can offer. Any lower and we’d truly be doing business at a loss...”

Nelson’s tone was full of grievance as he looked at Lu Yu, his voice trembling with fear and trepidation.

These words also drew looks of confusion from Leng Qingqiu and Xia Bing; they too did not understand why Lu Yu was acting this way.

”The profit split you’ve offered is satisfactory to me, but you unilaterally tore up the contract without considering Victory Group. Your actions are a great disrespect to us and even an insult!”

Hearing Nelson’s words, Lu Yu spoke coldly: ”A person has dignity, and naturally, a company does too. You openly tore up the contract, which is blatant contempt towards us!”

”You hold us in contempt, yet you don’t suffer any loss. Although an 80/20 split is smaller, you’re still making a profit, just a bit less than before!”

”You disrespect, even insult, our Victory Group, and now you’re merely earning a bit less money. Do you think that’s appropriate?”

With these words, Lu Yu’s gaze was sharp, and he fixed his stare on the person before him, Nelson, with an icy tone.

These words immediately caused Leng Qingqiu and Xia Bing to pause, as if awakening from a stupor, and they instantly realized.

This time, Nelson’s blatant tearing of the contract can essentially be seen as massive disrespect towards Victory Group. Such contempt, in which case the other party only gives up a little profit, ultimately still results in him making money. Such an action is no different from offering no apology at all!

It is precisely because of this that Lu Yu would utter such words!

Upon hearing this, for a brief moment, Nelson was stunned, his face showing a look of panic. He absolutely did not expect matters to turn out like this!

Gulp!

His throat moved slightly as he swallowed. At this moment, looking at Lu Yu, Nelson spoke humbly, ”Well then, Mr. Lu, what do you want?”

Nelson’s voice trembled with fear and humility, sounding very subservient and lowly.

”Considering the long journey you made to come here, I won’t make things difficult for you.”

Upon hearing Nelson’s words, a hint of deeper meaning showed on Lu Yu’s face. He looked at Nelson in front of him and said, ”The contract with the 80/20 split remains unchanged, but as a penalty to the Newman Group, I want to add a condition!”

”No problem.”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, Nelson immediately said, ”I wonder what condition Mr. Lu wants to add?”

Upon uttering these words, Nelson was internally nervous. He feared that Lu Yu would add an excessively harsh condition.

”It’s quite simple; I generally don’t like to take advantage of others.”

Upon hearing Nelson’s remark, Lu Yu replied lightly: ”The condition I want to add is that all profits from the first year go entirely to Victory Group, and in the second year, the 80/20 split will be implemented for profit distribution!”

Buzz!

With these words, everyone present was shocked, including Leng Qingqiu and Xia Bing.

All profits from the first year going solely to Victory Group—this condition is truly terrifying!

It must be understood that the peak profit period for high-tech products is the first year, and first-year sales are always the most terrifying for such products!

And Lu Yu wants to allocate all profits from this crucial year to Victory Group, a demand that genuinely shocks everyone present!

”The condition I propose is really that simple. Whether or not you agree is up to you.”

At this moment, Lu Yu looked at Nelson’s shocked expression and spoke calmly, his tone completely at ease.

In reality, Lu Yu’s action is not overly demanding, because the Newman Group was in the wrong for unilaterally tearing up the contract, which is an enormous disrespect towards any company!

And all Lu Yu is asking for is the entire profit of the first year; it truly isn’t excessive!
