Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

When it comes time to kneel and kowtow, how can I avoid being recognized!

As soon as Lu Yu said these words, Liu Qiguang’s body stiffened instantly, and he stood frozen on the spot, his eyes unfocused, at a loss.

’If I lose, I will kneel and apologize to President Leng publicly in the lobby of Victory Group and never disturb Victory Group again from today onwards!’

Just an hour ago, Liu Qiguang said this with great confidence, appearing fearless.

But now, Nelson’s call just outright denied his act of tearing up the Victory Group contract, which felt like a loud slap hitting Liu Qiguang across the face, leaving him stunned and helpless.

Since the news of Newman Group unilaterally tearing the contract came from within Newman Group itself, Liu Qiguang had always firmly believed that the information he received was absolutely true and reliable.

It was precisely because of this that Liu Qiguang didn’t hesitate to make a bet with Lu Yu just now, casually mentioning such a condition.

Because at that time, Liu Qiguang felt he could not possibly lose!

But now, he never expected that the information he had always thought was true and reliable turned out to be false information.

Moreover, it was the CEO of Newman Group, Nelson, who personally stepped forward to ’clarify,’ the situation changed so quickly that it left Liu Qiguang stunned and at a loss!

Could it be that he would really have to kneel and apologize to Leng Qingqiu in Victory Group’s lobby?!

He is, after all, the president of Jincheng Technology in Lin’an City; if news of him kneeling and apologizing to Leng Qingqiu in Victory Group’s lobby gets out, where would he put his dignity, and how could he continue to operate in the Lin’an Business District?

”Ha ha ha”

Thinking of this, Liu Qiguang let out a sneer, looking servilely at Lu Yu and said, ”Manager Lu, we’re all friends here, about that bet just now...”

”Who is your friend?”

Upon hearing Liu Qiguang’s words, Lu Yu’s eyes raised a notch, cutting Liu Qiguang off. ”What, President Liu, as the president of Jincheng Technology, are you trying to renege on a debt?” he said blandly.

With these words, Liu Qiguang’s face instantly turned incredibly unsightly.

In the past, with such bets, Liu Qiguang would just shamelessly renege, and the other party couldn’t say much. After all, everyone in the Lin’an Business District meets often and doesn’t want to strain relations, so this shameless behavior would be brushed off with a smile.

However, Liu Qiguang had never expected that Lu Yu wouldn’t give him face at all, directly exposing him, making the atmosphere effectively awkward.

”President Leng, it was just a casual verbal bet, after all, we are all part of the Lin’an Business District, isn’t your Manager Lu being a bit inappropriate by taking this so seriously?”

At this moment, hearing Lu Yu expose him, Liu Qiguang addressed Leng Qingqiu with a tinge of displeasure, especially stressing ”Lin’an Business District,” clearly hinting at Leng Qingqiu.

”Taking it seriously? Is it?”

Upon hearing Liu Qiguang’s words, Leng Qingqiu said, ”All I know is there is a saying about honoring your bet, President Liu, as the president of Jincheng Technology, you won’t go back on your word, will you?”

In her words, Leng Qingqiu’s expression was cold, with a touch of chill.

Liu Qiguang’s visit to Victory Group this time, euphemistically called discussing cooperation, was actually an opportunistic venture!

Therefore, to Liu Qiguang, Leng Qingqiu was now kicking him while he was down, giving him no opportunity for retaliation at all!

In any case, she never planned to cooperate with Jincheng Technology, so this time, Leng Qingqiu had no intention of giving Liu Qiguang any face.

”Hmph!”

Hearing Leng Qingqiu’s words, Liu Qiguang snorted coldly, glaring at Leng Qingqiu, ”I didn’t expect Victory Group to be full of such people, this is preposterous, today’s discussion ends here, I will leave now!”

Seeing that Leng Qingqiu didn’t buy his excuse, Liu Qiguang wanted to use anger as a pretext to renege and escape.

However, just as Liu Qiguang got up to leave, Lu Yu sneered and said, ”President Liu, where do you think you are going?”

As soon as these words left his mouth, Wu Song, accompanied by a few security guards, blocked Liu Qiguang’s path, each looking fierce and burly!

Seeing this scene, Liu Qiguang’s heart skipped a beat, and he said, ”What are you doing? What do you want, Victory Group!? Do you intend to restrict my movement!?”

In his words, Liu Qiguang’s voice suddenly raised by a few degrees, appearing quite panicked.

”We don’t want to do anything”

Hearing Liu Qiguang’s words, Lu Yu smiled slightly and said lightly, ”We just hope President Liu can fulfill the bet. As long as you fulfill the bet, you can go wherever you want, and we won’t stop you!”

In his words, Lu Yu glanced at Nelson, with a hint of playfulness in his eyes.

By doing so, Lu Yu wasn’t just punishing Liu Qiguang but also setting an example for Nelson, as he was about to negotiate with Nelson, and intimidating him first was necessary.

However, seeing Lu Yu’s casual glance, Nelson felt a chill in his heart; he was already completely scared by Lu Yu, standing frozen and at a loss.

Although he knew Lu Yu was called ”Master” by members of the Assassin Alliance, he never expected Lu Yu to be so forceful!

For a moment, Nelson felt uneasy.

Seeing Nelson like this, Lu Yu smiled slightly, then slowly turned to Wu Song and said, ”Wu Song, we have some matters now, take President Liu to the security department, we’ll come down later!”

”Understood, boss!”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Wu Song smiled slightly, and immediately grabbed Liu Qiguang, getting ready to head towards the elevator.

”Lu, I’m telling you, don’t be arrogant; if you dare take me to the security office, this will not end between us!”

Now, Liu Qiguang yelled, becoming more rogue and unreasonable.

”Wu Song”

Upon hearing Liu Qiguang’s words, Lu Yu smiled slightly and said, ”Take President Liu to the security department and ’teach him a lesson,’ but leave no trace. Understand?”

In his words, Lu Yu’s tone was calm, with a chilly overtone, especially emphasizing the words ’teach him a lesson,’ giving a cold and sinister feel.
