Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Seeing Qin Yang in front of him agreeing, Lu Yu couldn’t help but nod his head and then coldly said, ”Very good, Mr. Qin Yang, your attitude is excellent. The task I want you to do, I’ll send it to your email shortly. I hope you execute it seriously once you see it.”

”Of course, Mr. Qin Yang, you may also try reporting to the police after I leave or refuse to do what I say!”

At this point, Lu Yu’s tone paused slightly, then he continued, ”However, I advise you in advance not to hold any fluke mentality, after all, you only live once!”

In his speech, Lu Yu’s words were full of contempt, as if he was looking at a weak lamb, extending his disdain towards Qin Yang.

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, Qin Yang was instantly filled with coldness all over, inside and out. He could feel that Lu Yu was definitely not trying to intimidate him!

Entering his home silently in the dead of night and that tangible killing intent, it was truly no joke!

Qin Yang is a smart person; at this moment, he absolutely would not dare have any fluke mentality about this matter, after all, his life is at stake!

Once Lu Yu finished speaking, he suddenly thrust the fruit knife in his hand downward. With a dull thud, the knife was instantly embedded in the table, its pale brightness illuminating Qin Yang’s face, sending a burst of chill through him.

Witnessing the scene before him, Lu Yu let out a cold smile, then turned and walked out, opening the door.

Only after Lu Yu left did Qin Yang snap back from his state of terror; he collapsed to the ground like a heap of mud, all his strength seemingly drained, gasping heavily for air!

His eyes stared vacantly at the door of his room, his whole body drenched in cold sweat, sending a chilling sensation through him. He remained lost in that chilling fear for a long time, unable to recover!

He vowed that he had never felt such despair from a young age; that cold suffocating danger had left an indelible shadow in his heart!

After a while, a trace of life returned to Qin Yang’s gaze, his previous vacant expression gradually faded, making him feel like he had survived a disaster!

Reflecting on everything that had just happened, a trace of doubt arose in Qin Yang’s heart.

Who exactly is this Lu Yu?

At this thought, Qin Yang shook his head abruptly, not daring to continue pondering, because he knew there is an old saying in this world: Curiosity killed the cat, and too much curiosity is definitely not a good thing!

...

The next night, in the conference hall of LA City’s International Convention Center, a financial summit cocktail was unfolding harmoniously.

Lu Yu was now dressed in a fitted black suit, matching well with his rather decent physique, making him look reminiscent of the flamboyant playboy he was five years ago!

Watching the affluent and famous people around him exchanging laughs and drinks, a smile naturally crept across Lu Yu’s lips.

Everything now looked extremely familiar, in days past, such an occasion in LA City made him the most dazzling focal point.

”What are you thinking about? You seem so lost.”

Xia Bing slowly approached Lu Yu and gently asked.

Xia Bing was in a water-blue evening gown tonight, with a deep V-neck at the back, revealing her smooth, delicate back. Unlike some young women around with deep plunging necklines, Xia Bing’s dress was quite modest, a pleasing sight at first glance.

Tonight, Xia Bing was quite the presence at the cocktail party, with many young rich men wishing to invite her for a dance, but she politely declined all invitations, preferring to stay by Lu Yu’s side, feeling more comfortable.

Originally, Xia Bing disliked such events, but being a vice president at Victory Group demands occasional appearances in these settings.

”Just reminiscing about things from back then,”

Upon hearing Xia Bing’s words, Lu Yu smiled slightly and replied calmly, ”Looking back now, I was truly naive in my youth.”

Hearing this, Xia Bing chuckled and said, ”Come on, who doesn’t have youthful, reckless days? Just do what’s right moving forward and don’t get lost in the past.”

Her words warmed Lu Yu’s heart, and just as he was about to say something, a man in a white Armani suit slowly approached Xia Bing and remarked, ”President Xia, you truly shine tonight; I noticed you from a distance.”

Upon hearing this, Lu Yu turned his head, recognized the man in front of him as Liang Jiadong, the director of Dingchen Finance.

Dingchen Finance didn’t attend the summit, but this evening’s cocktail doesn’t restrict guests; anyone invited could come, hence Liang Jiadong’s presence.

”Mr. Liang, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”

Upon hearing this, Xia Bing smiled politely, exchanged courteous words, and extended her hand for a polite handshake with Liang Jiadong.

Liang Jiadong took Xia Bing’s delicate hand, feeling its softness, and a sleazy expression flashed in his eyes.

”President Xia, you know, many men admire you tonight.”

Liang Jiadong kept hold of Xia Bing’s hand without intention to release, ”You look truly stunning tonight.”

”Mr. Liang, you’re too kind.”

Feeling a bit uncomfortable with Liang Jiadong’s grip, Xia Bing smiled, pulled her hand back, and replied.

”It seems President Xia isn’t in the best mood,”

After releasing her hand, Liang Jiadong smirked slightly and commented, ”Could it be related to the obstacles faced during yesterday’s financial conference regarding the financing plan?”

Though Liang Jiadong still appeared respectful and polite, a subtle smile crept at the corner of his lips.
