Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

At this moment, lifted like a chick by Lu Yu, Luo Lie felt like he was about to suffocate. He grabbed Lu Yu’s hand with both of his, trying to pry it open, but he realized Lu Yu’s grip was like an iron vise, far beyond his ability to break free!

”S-stop!”

As Luo Lie’s body dangled in the air, he struggled desperately, saying, ”I’m not Sebastian’s man, I’m a soldier, and I have nothing to do with Sebastian!”

”Not Sebastian’s man!?”

Upon hearing this, Lu Yu’s grip showed no sign of loosening. Instead, a devilish smile appeared on his face, and his hand clenched tighter as he spoke, ”Why should I believe you!?”

Suspicion welled up in Lu Yu’s heart towards the inexplicable appearance of Luo Lie. Coupled with this person mentioning events in Beigang City from two years ago, Lu Yu felt a surge of murderous intent!

Lu Yu’s grip suddenly tightened, and Luo Lie felt completely unable to breathe. His face turned beet red, and he struggled to take out an ID from his pocket and handed it to Lu Yu.

”This... this can prove my identity!”

Luo Lie said with difficulty, appearing extremely pained; Lu Yu’s grip on his throat left him unable to breathe, on the brink of suffocation!

Seeing the ID that Luo Lie produced, Lu Yu raised an eyebrow and took it in hand. After taking a quick glance, he noticed the words ”Officer ID!”

After confirming the ID’s authenticity, Lu Yu suddenly released his grip on Luo Lie’s neck!

Thud!

As soon as Lu Yu let go, Luo Lie collapsed to the ground on one knee, coughing violently. His chest heaved as he gasped, looking extremely disheveled!

He never expected Lu Yu to be so terrifying, nearly killing him with one hand!

”Luo Lie? Since you’re a soldier from the Capital Military District, why seek me out, and how do you know about what happened in Beigang City two years ago!?”

Lu Yu asked, holding Luo Lie’s officer ID, his tone cold and detached.

”Cough... cough...”

Luo Lie coughed violently twice, and his previously flushed face slowly returned to normal. Looking at Lu Yu, he said, ”I’m a soldier from the Capital Military District, and also a member of the special action group ’Shadow Sword.’ We were responsible for the incident from two years ago.”

As he spoke, Luo Lie continued, ”Back then, you were the one who personally gave me the virus!”

With those words, Lu Yu’s gaze shifted, settling on Luo Lie’s face. After recognizing a familiar face, he asked, ”If that’s the case, why are you seeking me out this time?”

Lu Yu’s voice was devoid of emotion as he looked at Luo Lie, his gaze icy cold.

”Ever since witnessing you stab Sebastian’s right eye two years ago, we’ve been trying to find you, hoping you’ll join our Shadow Sword!”

Luo Lie said, ”With your skills, being a security manager here is a waste of your talents!”

”Join the military?”

Lu Yu chuckled coldly and said, ”You probably don’t know me well. I don’t like cooperating with official bodies, especially not with the likes of your organization. So, I decline your offer.”

Five years ago, Lu Yu might have accepted Luo Lie’s offer without hesitation. After all, an official status would ease many tasks, but after surviving on a deserted island and experiencing bloody and dark past events, Lu Yu would never agree to Luo Lie’s offer now.

He’s like a proud beast, preferring solitary and free movement. There’s no way he’d agree to join a disciplined organization like Shadow Sword!

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Luo Lie took a deep breath and said, ”I saw what happened yesterday evening at the wetland park. You’re clearly in trouble. Joining Shadow Sword will not only give you official status but also protection, much better than fighting alone!”

”You dared to surveil me!? Such audacity!”

Hearing this, Lu Yu’s voice turned ice-cold, his gaze fixed on Luo Lie with a chilling intensity surpassing their earlier encounter!

He hated being followed, and Luo Lie’s words enveloped him in Lu Yu’s murderous aura once more!

Gulp!

Under Lu Yu’s frost-like killing intent, Luo Lie instinctively gulped, a hint of fear creeping into his heart as he looked at Lu Yu!

After being lifted like a chick by Lu Yu earlier, Luo Lie realized the vast gap between them!

He now understood how effortlessly Lu Yu could kill him!

”We didn’t follow you.”

Panicking, Luo Lie quickly explained, ”We were just tracking Jin Chen and Romansonov, Jin Family’s assassins, and coincidentally ran into you, that’s all.”

”Jin Family?”

Lu Yu was slightly startled, then said, ”You’re also investigating the Jin Family?”

At this, Luo Lie was equally surprised, clearly seeing that Lu Yu’s target was also the Jin Family.

Luo Lie was about to say something when his phone suddenly rang.

Hearing the ringing, Luo Lie cast a reassuring glance at Lu Yu before slowly pulling out his phone, answering, ”Hello?”

”Luo Lie,”

Upon answering, Group Leader Qin’s voice came through the line, ”According to reliable sources, a private plane from Blood Shadow Organization has taken off. While the exact route is unknown, it’s confirmed that its destination is LA City!”

Buzz!

Upon hearing this, Luo Lie’s scalp tingled. He hadn’t expected these incidents to tie together now!
