Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

This so-called LA City Financial Summit is held at the top level of the LA City International Conference Center. It seems to be of high prestige. The LA City Finance Minister and presidents of several banks are participating, along with big names from major enterprises and financial companies, making it an event of utmost importance!

The organizers paid great attention to this meeting, even hiring a security company for comprehensive supervision and control to ensure the smooth progress of this financial conference.

Besides, the local police of LA City are cooperating to ensure the safety of the conference.

At this moment, looking at the impressive Lin’an Conference Center in front of him, Lu Yu smiles slightly, glances at his suit and briefcase, and then at the charming Xia Bing and Zhou Yun beside him, feeling a bit helpless.

”I never thought I would attend such an important meeting.”

Lu Yu muttered to himself inwardly, a wry smile appearing at the corner of his mouth.

Once upon a time, he wouldn’t even glance at such meetings, especially with his dark and bloody past. Standing openly in the sunlight now truly leaves Lu Yu somewhat emotional.

As Lu Yu was lost in emotion, a tall, fair-skinned man approached him, glanced at the grand Lin’an International Conference Center, and said, ”This is a significant financial summit in LA City, not everyone can come!”

The remark carried a hint of disdain, sounding rather piercing.

At the sound, Lu Yu turned his gaze directly to the man, who also turned and looked at Lu Yu simultaneously!

As their eyes met, a slight scornful smile appeared on the man’s face. He then looked Lu Yu up and down and strode into the conference center arrogantly.

”Whose young master is this to be so arrogant?”

Seeing the man’s disdainful look, Lu Yu smiled slightly and said, with no hint of anger in his tone, although he was somewhat displeased.

”This is Qin Yang from Chengxing Venture Capital, a young master born with a silver spoon. It’s his usual style; there’s no need to mind him.”

Xia Bing spoke at this moment, sounding somewhat consoling.

”Yes, this guy is notorious for his arrogance in the circle. You don’t need to take it too seriously.”

Upon hearing Xia Bing’s words, Zhou Yun chimed in, full of amusement: ”He’s offended too many people in LA City’s financial circle!”

”Oh?”

Hearing these words, Lu Yu’s initial displeasure was instantly dispelled. He became a bit interested in Qin Yang: ”Is he really that formidable?”

It’s worth noting that there are usually only two types of people in the world who can be so arrogant and remain unharmed: either they have an exceptionally strong family background, or they are extremely formidable themselves. Without these backings, such arrogance would definitely lead to a miserable outcome.

”Yes, Chengxing Venture Capital, his company, is a very large venture capital firm. Despite his young age, he has completed several successful venture capital projects. It’s rumored that his family background is also quite powerful, so people can only continue to tolerate his arrogance.”

Xia Bing commented lightly, a smile in her words.

”Is that so?”

Listening to Xia Bing’s introduction, Lu Yu scratched his head, a smile appearing in his eyes as he said, ”I didn’t expect this kid to have such skills. I must see for myself later!”

Leng Qingqiu invited me here for a strong presence. If this so-called Qin Yang behaves, I might be interested in seeing what’s special about him. But if he joins other companies in attacking Victory Group’s financing plan, I’ll have to play my role!

Thinking of this, Lu Yu, along with Xia Bing and Zhou Yun, walked into the LA City Conference Center.

...

Lu Yu had been missing for five years. Although five years sounds short, it actually isn’t. During this period, Lu Yu was somewhat out of touch with modern society, and considering this financial summit he wasn’t interested in, he was completely perplexed.

If it’s about survival skills like hunting and assassination, Lu Yu is absolutely top-notch. But when faced with a group of so-called financial elites in suits, he was completely in the dark, utterly clueless. Listening to these so-called speeches by ministerial leaders, he yawned incessantly.

Fortunately, Xia Bing and Zhou Yun, the two graduates, were there to introduce things to him. Otherwise, he would have fallen asleep at the conference table long ago.

Several business tycoons at the table frowned slightly seeing Lu Yu yawning, expressing extreme dissatisfaction.

It should be known that although this financial summit isn’t top-tier, it is of quite a high standard, and not everyone can attend. Yet in such a setting, someone was dozing off, causing these bigwigs to start questioning Lu Yu’s identity.

In fact, when Leng Qingqiu notified Lu Yu to attend this financial summit, he had already made full preparations by packaging Lu Yu’s identity from a security manager to a financial director; otherwise, Lu Yu would not have been able to attend the meeting.

Rustle!

At the moment when Lu Yu was drowsy, suddenly, a burst of enthusiastic applause broke out, making Lu Yu slightly startled. He then started clapping along with the others.

”Is it over?”

Upon hearing the applause, Lu Yu asked in a low voice.

”Not yet, that was just Minister Li of the Finance Ministry delivering the opening speech. There are still a few bank presidents who will speak,”

Xia Bin looked at the conference schedule and said, laughing, ”Just hold on a bit longer. This is the opening; after the leadership speeches, it will be time for discussions and negotiations. Tomorrow is the cocktail party, which is your area of interest.”

Hearing this, Lu Yu was almost exasperated to death. He would rather fight with two wild bears than torture himself here. These leaders’ speeches are so tedious, repeating the same thing endlessly, enough to blow one’s mind.

But Lu Yu couldn’t leave now, because even though the scene seemed harmonious, he could keenly sense that most people’s gaze, including that of Qin Yang encountered at the door, was slyly looking over at him, full of hostility!
