I, the Destined Villain, Start by Controlling the Saint

The battle of destiny, the theft of the green lotus seedsThe Seven-Colored Profound Yellow qinglian seed floated in the air, two opposing forces locked in a stalemate, and the Seven-Colored Profound Yellow qinglian seed was torn between these two forces.

Li Sheng looked at the newcomer, who was impeccably dressed and accompanied by a beautiful and elegant maid.

His cultivation was roughly the same as his own, and their strength was evenly matched!

So strong!

Chu Yang also didn’t expect it; he thought the other party was just a petty thief, but he didn’t expect his strength to be so formidable.

He’s met his match!

The two secretly competed, neither willing to back down at this moment.

With a crack.

The qinglian seed couldn’t withstand their tearing and split into two pieces, each piece shooting towards them like an arrow from a bowstring.

Accompanying the pieces was the power of their clashing forces.

The longer the confrontation, the greater the accumulated power. The two had been clashing for a full half-hour, and the intense fluctuations forced them to retreat dozens of steps.

The originally smooth and flat stone path was marked with two deep grooves from their footsteps, and only by dissipating the force in this way could they barely stop themselves.

Each received half, a perfect stalemate, but neither was happy.

Instead, they looked at each other with grave expressions.

”You are strong,” Li Sheng said.

”You too,” Chu Yang nodded.

”Since I entered the Tiandao Sect, I’ve never encountered an opponent that I truly had to take seriously. You are the only one,” Li Sheng said.

”So, I should feel honored?” Chu Yang chuckled.

However, the woman behind him couldn’t sit still.

The Seven-Colored Profound Yellow qinglian seed was a sacred item greatly beneficial to a female Cultivator’s cultivation.

The faint fragrance of the lotus seed emanating from it gave her a feeling of being reborn.

She understood in her heart that if she consumed the Seven-Colored Profound Yellow qinglian seed, her strength would surely greatly increase.

Even against Chu Yang, she would have a seventy percent chance of winning.

Although she was reluctant to admit it, Chu Yang was indeed a Genius; many older generation powerful Cultivators couldn’t last three moves against him.

”Surname Chu, I want that qinglian seed. Go get it for me,” she said.

Chu Yang was stunned for a moment. Asking for my help?

Heh heh, you’ve got a handle on me now.

”Is that how you ask for help?” Chu Yang said with a half-smile.

”You, what do you want!” she said displeased.

Although her tone wasn’t very good, Chu Yang was enjoying it. He chuckled, ”Qian Qian, that’s not how you ask for help. It’s very difficult for me.”

The woman named Qian Qian’s chest heaved with anger, but she still took a deep breath and calmed down.

”What do you want? Just say it.”

”Don’t push your Luck too much.”

Seeing her relent, Chu Yang immediately beamed with joy. So you’re willing to ask me now, huh?

He said seriously, ”From now on, you have to respectfully call me Young Master. Calling me by my surname, Chu, makes me lose too much Face.”

Qian Qian’s heart was filled with anger.

This guy always teases me. Once I become strong, the first thing I’ll do is make you my dog.

The kind that can only crawl on the ground.

Currently, having to ask for help, she chose to put on a smiling Face and said softly:

”Young Master Chu, could you please get that Seven-Colored Profound Yellow qinglian seed for me? Thank you.”

Upon hearing the soft, sweet words, Chu Yang’s entire body trembled slightly, his expression joyful, revealing a look of pure comfort.

”Wouldn’t it have been better if you had said that earlier? I’d even pluck the stars from the sky for you.”

He chuckled smugly, as if he had gained a huge advantage.

Qian Qian looked at him coldly and snapped, ”Hurry up, what are you dawdling for?”

”Alright, happy to oblige.”

Chu Yang was motivated. Getting the qinglian seed would win a beauty’s smile. This was too easy, wasn’t it?

He said, ”Fellow Daoist, I won’t force it, but could you sell me that qinglian seed at a discounted price?”

”Whatever you want, just name it, I can give it to you.”

Watching the two flirt, Li Sheng inexplicably felt a surge of anger.

Damn it!

I’ve been married to Yu Ru for eight hundred years, and the closest I’ve ever been to her is living in a doghouse next to her boudoir.

The best answers I’ve ever gotten from Yu Ru were a few ”Mm, understood.”

And you two are flirting here? Have you considered my feelings?!

Showing off your affection, huh? I’ll show you how deep my love for Yu Ru is too.

Li Sheng retorted, ”My wife also wants to use this qinglian seed for cultivation. How about you sell me your half of the qinglian seed at a discounted price? Whatever you want, I’ll give it to you.”

”Don’t worry, I have plenty of treasures.”

With that, he flipped his right hand, and dozens of first-grade Immortal Artifacts floated in the air, dazzling the eyes.

”Give me that half of the qinglian seed in your hand, and you can pick any of these Immortal Artifacts. Whichever one you want, I can give it to you.”

Chu Yang’s smiling Face stiffened.

This guy doesn’t know what’s good for him. Can’t he see I’m trying to woo a girl?

Chu Yang didn’t humor him and said, ”Isn’t it just Immortal Artifacts? You make it sound like no one else has any.”

He likewise waved his hand, and more than a dozen Immortal Artifacts appeared in his hand, their quality no worse than Li Sheng’s.

The two secretly competed, determined to decide who was superior.

This was no longer a dispute over the qinglian seed, but had escalated into a battle of pride.

As Prodigies, who could tolerate someone showing off in front of them?

Qian Qian, behind Chu Yang, grew anxious.

The two had been in a stalemate here for over half an hour, and judging by the situation, there was no telling when it would end.

If a Tiandao Sect Elder were to arrive, not only would she not get this half of the qinglian seed, but they might even be apprehended.

She called out, ”Chu Yang, let’s go. If someone comes later, we won’t be able to explain ourselves.”

Since Qian Qian had said so, and Chu Yang wanted to win the beauty’s favor, he certainly wouldn’t refuse.

He said with an apologetic expression, ”Qian Qian, this person is a bit stubborn, impervious to reason. I’m sorry, I couldn’t get the qinglian seed for you.”

Qian Qian smiled outwardly, but inwardly she shook her head.

You’re still not strong enough, otherwise why would you be evenly matched with the other side?

Qian Qian said, ”Let’s go, we’ll talk about it later.”

Finally, Chu Yang turned back to Li Sheng and said meaningfully, ”Today you made me lose Face in front of my woman. One day, I will repay you a hundredfold.”

Li Sheng didn’t humor him either and sneered, ”A pig’s nose stuck with green onions, pretending to be an elephant!”

”I haven’t even settled the score with you yet. You took half of my qinglian seed. If I weren’t afraid of escalating the matter, I’d kill you right now.”

”You wait. The Battleground Forbidden Land will be your burial ground.”

There was a sense of tit-for-tat between the two sides.

The clash of Luck! To determine who would be the ultimate Child of Destiny.

As they left, the two didn’t forget to restore the area, erasing their traces.

About a quarter of an hour later, Tiandao Sect Disciples came to the lakeside to observe the growth of the qinglian seed.

”The qinglian seed is about to mature. This is a sacred item for Goddess’s cultivation, and there must be no mishaps.”

When the Tiandao Sect Disciple saw the qinglian seed broken in two and missing, he felt his heart tighten into a stone.

His mentality collapsed!

After a long while, his eyes were bloodshot, and his breathing was so rapid it felt like it would break.

”It’s over, how did the qinglian seed get lost?”

”No, I must report to the Elder quickly.”

The news of the missing qinglian seed reached the Elder, and after several transfers, it reached NanGong XiMeng’s ears.

NanGong XiMeng, who was having a pleasant conversation with Xiao Fan, changed her expression upon hearing the news. The Seven-Colored Profound Yellow qinglian seed was gone?

Seeing her expression change slightly, Xiao Fan said, ”NanGong Xianzi, is there something you need to attend to?”

”Alas, my qinglian seed has been stolen.”

NanGong XiMeng regarded Xiao Fan as her fated one and gradually opened her heart to him. There was nothing to hide about this matter.

”qinglian seed?”

”It’s a sacred item I use for cultivation, planted in the Profound Yellow Myriad Worlds Lake in the back mountain. I was waiting for this qinglian seed to mature to help me condense the Azure Lotus Immortal Body,” NanGong XiMeng said seriously.

Seeing her troubled expression, Xiao Fan could roughly guess that this qinglian seed was probably extremely important.

NanGong XiMeng couldn’t sit still. She said, ”Young Master Xiao, Xi Meng will excuse herself first.”

”I’ll go with you to take a look,” Xiao Fan said.

According to his small intuition, it must have been picked up by some Child of Destiny as a wild Opportunity.

NanGong XiMeng followed her inner feelings; she also wanted to stay with Xiao Fan.

To understand each other more.

”Alright, let’s go together,” NanGong XiMeng said with a sweet smile.

Xiao Fan was momentarily dazed. Good, this sweet smile will be mine alone, hehehehe....

Following NanGong XiMeng’s footsteps, Xiao Fan arrived at the place where the lotus seed was stolen. Apart from the broken lotus pod branch, there were no other traces.

The Tiandao Sect Elders used various secret arts, trying to find clues, but it was all in vain.

”Elder, are there any clues?” NanGong XiMeng said.

”Goddess, your subordinate’s strength is insufficient; I couldn’t find any traces.”

”You can’t be blamed for this. The Profound Yellow Myriad Worlds Lake is hidden in the Forbidden Ground of the back mountain. It’s impossible for an ordinary person to silently infiltrate this place. It’s normal to have some special stealth methods,” NanGong XiMeng said.

She comforted the Tiandao Sect Elder, her own emotions very stable, fearing that the Elder would blame himself.

”Thank you, Goddess, for your understanding.”

”There are no airtight walls. Treasures will be coveted by thieves; you don’t need to dwell on it.”

The more NanGong XiMeng didn’t care, the more guilty the Tiandao Sect Elder below felt. He said:

”Goddess, why don’t we activate the sect’s protective formation and search everyone inside? I believe we will definitely find the culprit.”

NanGong XiMeng shook her head: ”No, that would be too rude. Even if we find the culprit, it will leave a bad impression on others.”

”Forget it.”

Xiao Fan watched, seeing that despite losing a very important treasure, NanGong XiMeng’s emotions remained so stable, her mindset was evident.

NanGong XiMeng looked at the lotus and said, ”As long as this lotus pond is still here, in ten thousand years, new qinglian seeds (azure lotus seed) will form. It just takes more time.”

Xiao Fan chuckled, ”NanGong Xianzi is quite open-minded.”

”What’s the use of dwelling on something that has already happened?” NanGong XiMeng said.

Xiao Fan walked over and saw the cut mark at the top, made by a sharp blade. This was a trace!

What others couldn’t ascertain, he could.

Because he had become a Saint.

As long as the Karma was still there, he could follow the Karma to the source. Xiao Fan touched the cut mark, closing his eyes slightly to concentrate.

A Holy Intention emanated from his hand, and all the Karma scattered in the heavens and earth gathered in his hand.

Soon, he learned of the struggle that had just occurred here.

”So that’s how it is. It really was picked up as a wild Opportunity.”

NanGong XiMeng saw Xiao Fan muttering to himself and asked curiously, ”Young Master Xiao, what is this?”

”Nothing, I was just trying to see if I could find the culprit.”

”Any results?”

”Alas, my talent is shallow, and my ability is insufficient. Otherwise, I would definitely help NanGong Xianzi with this.”

The two exchanged a few more words, then NanGong XiMeng bid farewell to Xiao Fan to attend to her duties.

Xiao Fan, meanwhile, pondered to himself how to kill those two.

”Now, there are people from the Holy Temple constantly watching, so it’s not good for me to act openly. I can only find another Opportunity.”

Xiao Fan was not in a hurry. There were plenty of opportunities in the Battleground Forbidden Land. He was already prepared to turn into a scythe and enter to reap.
