I, the Destined Villain, Start by Controlling the Saint

Resurrect, my people! While Xiao Fan was cultivating to his heart’s content, at the Saint Institute’s Duel Stage, it was one of the Child of Destiny’s classic scenarios: setting up a challenge, a one-on-one fight!

Qin Chen set up his formation and directly declared he wanted to challenge the Disciples at the bottom of the Training Rank, loudly proclaiming:

”I’m not targeting any one of you; I’m saying that everyone whose name I call is trash.”

As expected of a Child of Destiny, his taunting skills were maxed out.

Who could endure being publicly mocked like this? Even a clay figure has a bit of temper!

One by one, those whose names Qin Chen called stepped onto the stage and fought him one-on-one.

As expected, all of them were defeated by Qin Chen.

This made everyone look at him with new respect; a mere Earth Immortal Cultivator defeating a group of Heavenly Immortals—it seemed he truly had some strength.

”No wonder he was shouting that the ranking list was problematic.”

”Turns out he really has some tricks up his sleeve.”

”Indeed, but his Realm was too low at the time, so it’s normal that he was eliminated. After all, an Earth Immortal, no matter how you look at it, seems unreasonable.”

”That’s true, it can only be blamed on his Realm being too low.”

Qin Chen listened to the whispers from below the stage, which included many words of admiration and praise, making him feel very pleased.

He said, full of pride: ”I told you, that list was problematic. With my current strength, there’s no way I should have been eliminated.”

”There must have been a mistake somewhere in the Saint Hall Training list.”

News of what happened here quickly reached Miao Xiaoqing’s ears.

She was very angry.

”Damn it, setting up a challenge and fighting one-on-one, do you think this is child’s play?!”

”The list was decided by my hand. To publicly say the list is problematic—is he questioning this Miao’s authority?!”

Miao Xiaoqing was very angry. This Qin Chen was truly a troublemaker, daring to question her after only three years of entering the sect.

If he stayed for a few more years, would he try to pull her down from this position?

Unbearable!

She immediately issued an order, saying:

”Qin Chen has disrespected the Saint’s might and questioned this Seat, truly being insubordinate and disrespectful to his Seniors.”

”Guards, seize Qin Chen and imprison him in the Saint Institute’s Blackwater Grand Prison for a hundred years.”

”As you command.”

On one side was a Disciple who had just entered the sect three years ago.

On the other side was a newly promoted Saint.

There was no comparison in status.

No one would offend the currently powerful Miao Xiaoqing for a hothead.

Soon, the Disciples of the Enforcement Hall received the order and set out to capture Qin Chen.

They would escort him to the Blackwater Grand Prison!

Qin Chen looked at the orderly procession, thinking they were there to present him with an award.

He was secretly pleased, thinking, ’Sure enough, the effect of my challenge has come out.’

The effect did indeed come out.

Only, the Disciple leading the team spoke with solemn dignity:

”Qin Chen has disrespected the Saint’s authority, committed insubordination, and disregarded the law.”

”Seize him and escort him to the Blackwater Grand Prison for a hundred years of solitary confinement.”

When Qin Chen heard these words, his mind went blank.

”Huh? Solitary confinement? A hundred years?!”

Before he could react, a set of dark black profound iron shackles were clamped onto his feet, and cold, thick iron chains wrapped around him.

Qin still wanted to resist, but a single blow sent him spewing blood, his front teeth falling out.

”I refuse to accept this!”

”It’s a conspiracy!”

With a ’snap,’ a thorny iron chain lashed out, sweeping heavily across his back, tearing off bloody bits of flesh with a ’sizzle.’

”Disobeying orders and attempting to resist the Enforcement Hall—your crime is compounded!”

”I refuse to accept this...”

”Snap!”

”Still talking back? Another compounding of your crime.”

The whip struck Qin Chen over a hundred times, but his resolute gaze never wavered. He said bitterly: ”If you have the guts, kill me today. Don’t let me live.”

”Otherwise, when I rise to prominence, I’ll be the first to come settle accounts with you.”

”Snap!”

Qin Chen’s mouth was truly stubborn; even with his skin torn and flesh exposed, he was still shouting.

However, this did not change his fate.

He was escorted into the Blackwater Grand Prison, confined to its deepest level.

It was rumored to be a forbidden place; no one who entered that level had ever come out alive.

However, who was Qin Chen?

As a Child of Destiny, a perilous situation was equivalent to a Secret Realm.

A Secret Realm was equivalent to a super grand Secret Realm.

Inside, he met an old Senior, an enemy who had been suppressed here by Zhu Tong.

This enemy, who had always devoured people without batting an eye, took a liking to Qin Chen’s stubborn nature and forcibly taught him spells, making him his Disciple.

He also gave him a treasure map, claiming it contained a great treasure.

However, the price was that Qin Chen had to rescue him once he became powerful.

Qin Chen agreed without a second thought.

”Anyway, it’s just an oath. Who knows what will happen in the future? Just agree for now,” Qin Chen thought.

In the following days, with the help of this old man, Qin Chen’s cultivation soared as if he had a cheat.

He Underwent Tribulation in prison, causing a heaven-shaking phenomenon that alarmed the Elders of the Saint Institute.

Crossing two great Realms, the heaven-shshattering Heavenly Tribulation lightning even blasted open the prison gates of the Blackwater Grand Prison, and Qin Chen escaped.

Qin Chen kept crying injustice, saying there was a conspiracy in the ranking list.

The Elders, seeing that he could actually Undergo such a heaven-shattering Heavenly Tribulation lightning in the Blackwater Grand Prison, concluded he must be an unparalleled Genius.

So, they reported the matter to Zhu Tong.

Zhu Tong learned of the situation and weighed his options carefully.

Without even thinking, he definitely supported Miao Xiaoqing.

”This Seat has newly appointed a Saint; questioning her authority isn’t questioning this Seat’s judgment, is it?”

”This Seat reviewed the list last; although it was just a formality, it did pass my eyes. Is questioning the list meant to imply I’m neglecting my duties?”

”Moreover, you’re a new Disciple who caused such a huge commotion. If I don’t teach you a lesson, you’ll really think the Saint Institute is run by your family.”

Zhu Tong was even more ruthless, super-doubling the sentence to eight hundred years of solitary confinement.

Perhaps this was the treatment for a Child of Destiny; suppression was their destiny.

Qin Chen originally thought he would be highly regarded for displaying his unparalleled talent, but he never expected a super-doubled sentence.

He was disheartened.

”Alright, alright, so this is how we’re playing, huh?”

”The me you ignore today, you won’t be able to reach tomorrow.”

”This Saint Institute, I might as well leave. √”

”The Saint Institute has been unjust to me, so don’t blame me for being unrighteous,” Qin Chen sneered.

This time, Qin Chen did not surrender.

He first knocked out the Disciples who came to arrest him, then stealthily entered the Saint Institute’s Medicine Field and plundered all the ripe Spirit Medicine.

Then, impersonating a Medicinal Pill delivery boy, he secretly snuck into the Medicinal Pill Pavilion.

He also cleaned out all the Medicinal Pills in the Medicinal Pill Pavilion.

And that wasn’t all.

Using some of the Medicinal Pills he obtained from the Medicinal Pill Pavilion, he took out a portion of those that could cause hallucinations and threw them into the Immortal Beast Mountain where the Saint Institute fed its great demons.

This caused a riot.

All of the above might be difficult for others, but for a Child of Destiny, it was as easy as pie.

”Since I’m already here, I can’t leave empty-handed, can I? This little bit of stuff will just be compensation from the Saint Institute.”

Having plundered everything, Qin Chen left behind a mess and walked away.

But he seemed to have forgotten his clan members.

Passive triggered: Clan Annihilation.

As soon as this matter came out, the Saint Institute was greatly shaken.

”What, the Medicine Field was dug up by Qin Chen, and the Medicinal Pill Pavilion was plundered by Qin Chen?!”

”How did he do it?”

”I knew that kid had ill intentions; he must have been hiding his cultivation and strength.”

”Yes, otherwise, how could anyone Breakthrough two great Realms in such a short time?”

”In that case, the Saint must have seen through his trick early on, which is why she kicked him off the list.”

”Damn it, we were all deceived!”

”The Saint has a unique Wisdom Eye and the ability to discern people; she must have known something.”

”Yes, we almost misunderstood the Saint.”

”This guy plundering the Saint Institute truly has the guts of a bear and the courage of a leopard.”

The Saint Institute was enraged and issued an order to capture Qin Chen.

But Qin Chen had already fled.

However, his family was still there.

The Saint Institute vented its anger on his family, annihilating his entire clan.

By the time Qin Chen remembered this, all that remained was endless regret.

”My family, who understands?!”

”It really wasn’t me who wanted to harm you; I truly didn’t expect the Saint Institute to be so malicious as to involve you.”

Qin Chen looked at the empty scorched earth, two lines of clear tears streaming down his face, and he gritted his teeth, saying:

”The hatred of clan annihilation is irreconcilable; Saint Institute, I will surely exterminate your entire sect!”

”Father, all uncles, Elder brothers.”

”Just you wait, once my cultivation is complete.”

”I will resurrect you all!”

He looked at the scorched earth and heavily kowtowed three times.

At this point, Qin Chen completed the main quest of sacrificing his clan members.

With the blood of his entire clan, he carved his goal into his heart.

”Resurrect, my clan members!”
