I, the Destined Villain, Start by Controlling the Saint

Past events, dream warning”Mom, look, I’ve broken through another Realm!”

The young boy, feeling the surging power within him, cheered and ran towards his mother, throwing himself into her embrace as if seeking praise.

He wore a joyful smile, unable to contain his delight.

”Mm, Mom sees it. Xiao Fan is truly amazing.”

Xiao Fan looked up, chuckling, and said proudly:

”It’s just so-so. It’s all because Mom taught me well.”

The young and tender Xiao Fan nestled tightly in his mother’s arms.

He merely raised his hand and gently pinched a star in the outer heavens, and a star tens of thousands of miles wide was thus crushed by him from a distance.

After a tremendous boom, brilliant fireworks erupted, dazzling beyond compare.

Ling Yueqian watched as that massive Geng Golden Star was crushed by her own son, feeling a slight astonishment.

That was a star she had deliberately placed in the firmament to supplement the metal-element Immortal Qi, its hardness comparable to a great Yao Beast of the Taiyi Realm, yet it was crushed by her own son.

My son truly has extraordinary talent!

She wasn’t angry; she simply waved her jade finger and gently pointed.

Another Geng Star descended from the infinitely distant heavens, landing where the recently destroyed giant Geng Golden Star had been, and everything returned to normal.

”Mom, how strong am I now?”

”Dad always says that when he was my age, he could already cleave star rivers with his sword and suppress all living beings. Is what he said true?”

The young Xiao Fan had a fair complexion, and his slightly chubby face was full of curiosity.

His eyes were bright and spirited, naturally possessing extraordinary Divine Might.

”Don’t listen to his nonsense. When your dad was your age, he had just started Qi Refining and was being chased by a group of Foundation Establishment Yao Beasts,” Ling Yueqian said with a smile.

Xiao Fan was somewhat incredulous. He asked in confusion, ”No way, Dad was even chased by Foundation Establishment Yao Beasts?”

”More than that, he was chased for a whole month.”

Xiao Fan laughed, his voice very lively: ”So, was he lying to me about what he said before?”

”You can’t believe your dad’s words. He’s just a big liar; otherwise, he wouldn’t have been able to trick your mom, me,” Ling Yueqian said with a smile.

Xiao Fan nodded and said, ”It seems Dad really is good at tricking people, even Mom was tricked by him.”

”I will definitely treat people sincerely in the future and not become like him,” Xiao Fan declared solemnly.

Ling Yueqian affectionately rubbed his little head and said, ”I think you should learn from your dad. It’s okay to trick others, just don’t trick your mom.”

Xiao Fan: ”Why is that?”

”This can only be understood, not explained.”

Xiao Fan nodded, not understanding, but his young heart remembered this sentence.

”I’m already five years old, and only at the True Immortal Realm. Uncle Ancestral Dragon says that Golden Immortals are mere small fry under him. Am I very weak?”

”It’s different. Those small fry under him have cultivated for millions of years. They’re not as powerful as our little Xiao Fan.”

Xiao Fan was very shocked, feeling deceived.

Damn it!

...

...

In Xiao Fan’s memory, his mother had always accompanied him before he turned ten, teaching him to cultivate.

However, playing is a child’s nature, and Xiao Fan was no exception. He often tugged on Ancestral Dragon’s whiskers, making Ancestral Dragon secretly take him to escape.

”Little Revered Master, no, if Madam finds out we snuck out, it will be a big problem.”

”Madam definitely won’t hit you, but when she hits me, it really hurts. She almost pulled out my Dragon tendons.”

”I don’t care. If you don’t take me out to play, I’ll tell my mom you bullied me,” Xiao Fan threatened.

Upon hearing this, Ancestral Dragon’s whiskers trembled. Had the little Revered Master learned to threaten at such a young age?

Unable to resist Xiao Fan, Ancestral Dragon could only take him to sneak out.

Afterward, of course, they were discovered, and Xiao Fan immediately admitted his mistake.

”Mom, I really wasn’t being lazy. I was out for experience.”

”It was Uncle Ancestral Dragon who told me that going out for experience helps one grow quickly, that’s why I went out.”

Ling Yueqian heard this and said, ”Don’t do this next time, or I’ll lock you in the dark room.”

”Absolutely no next time.”

”Good, let’s go back.”

The scene shifted, and Ancestral Dragon trembled, saying ingratiatingly, ”Madam, if I said the little Revered Master made me take him out, would you believe me?”

Ling Yueqian’s Phoenix eyes turned cold, and she reprimanded, ”Nonsense! My son wouldn’t lie to me.”

”How old is he? How could he learn to lie so quickly?”

”I told you to accompany him in cultivation, not to cause trouble with him.”

Ancestral Dragon hesitated to speak, not daring to say anything.

Only Xiao Fan was secretly laughing nearby.

Uncle Ancestral Dragon, you have thick skin and flesh, you’ll definitely survive.

...

...

At fifteen, Xiao Fan’s face was still youthful.

However, he had taken on an unrestrained demeanor. Dressed in white as snow, his figure appeared slender from afar, but up close, he was imposing and robust like a tall mountain.

He possessed an unparalleled Immortal face, perfect and peerless. Even the most renowned Fairies in the world would feel a sense of inadequacy and frustration upon seeing him.

Coupled with Xiao Fan’s powerful background, countless beautiful women had surrounded him since childhood, and various Goddesses and Saintesses wished to form a marriage alliance with him.

However, at that time, he was still young and naive, dismissing them with disdain.

He only wanted to focus on cultivating the Dao, and his eyes were still very pure.

It was also in this year that he met Qing Yu.

At that time, Xiao Fan was already a Taiyi True Immortal. He had set his sights on a million-year-old Nine-Revolving Heavenly Origin Immortal Ginseng.

He wanted to capture it and offer it to his mother.

Xiao Fan had the intimate guidance of his parents and had learned supreme holy methods.

He also had Ancestral Dragon as a sparring partner, giving him rich combat experience.

It could be said that Xiao Fan’s strength at that time could already overpower a Taiyi Golden Immortal, and he was fearless even when facing a Grand Unity Golden Immortal.

Facing an immortal ginseng that had gained sentience, capturing it was merely a piece of cake.

But he didn’t expect that this immortal ginseng already had an owner.

It was the immortal ginseng that Qing Yu had raised.

”Revered Master, save me! Someone wants to kill me.”

Qing Yu appeared, blocked Xiao Fan, and rescued the immortal ginseng.

When Xiao Fan saw the newcomer, her figure was graceful, her face beautiful, and her aura was pure and flawless, truly a peerless beauty.

Even more surprising was that the woman in front of him had a powerful aura; he couldn’t discern her strength at all.

However, he was very confident.

Uncle Ancestral Dragon even said he wasn’t my match, and I always beat him up.

How could a mere woman withstand my attacks?

”Um, I don’t like hitting women. Can you give me that ginseng behind you?”

”Since it has an owner, I’m willing to offer something in exchange.”

Qing Yu looked at the young man in front of her and said with interest, ”Where did this child come from, daring to even try to seize my possession?”

”Bah, how was I supposed to know it was your immortal ginseng? It was flaunting itself in front of me; wasn’t that seducing me?”

”Splitting hairs!”

”It seems you need a lesson.”

”Hmph, demoness, you refuse a toast only to drink a forfeit! Don’t blame me for being merciless!”

Xiao Fan felt incredibly powerful at the time and even deliberately held back.

Although whether he held back or not, the result would be the same.

But this made Qing Yu smile: ”You dare to call this Saint a demoness? Good, you’ll be this Saint’s doorman.”

Xiao Fan’s hands were bound, and his cultivation was restricted. He was powerless to resist and could only curse:

”Demoness, don’t push your luck. Be careful, or I’ll tell my mom and have her deal with you.”

”I’m telling you, I’m very strong. If you don’t let me go, I really will hit you.”

Qing Yu was amused by Xiao Fan.

She was very curious: whose child was this handsome, and so amusing when he spoke?

Xiao Fan, of course, was unwilling to be taken as a doorman.

He tried to escape every day.

But each time he ended up back in Qing Yu’s hands. He didn’t know how many times this cycle repeated.

He felt he needed to find another way.

Therefore, he directly sought to become her disciple.

”Elder Sister, you’re so beautiful and powerful. Please, I beg you, accept me as your disciple.”

”What, didn’t you call me a demoness?” Qing Yu raised an eyebrow.

”Demoness Revered Master, please accept me as your disciple. I’ll kowtow to you.”

With that, he immediately knelt and kowtowed three times, without hesitation.

Demoness Revered Master...

Qing Yu was completely amused by him. He showed no fear in front of her and even dared to try to escape.

He called her a demoness upon meeting her, and then called her ’Demoness Revered Master.’ What an interesting fellow.

”I never said I’d accept you as a disciple. Your kowtows are in vain.”

”Demoness Revered Master, this is my own will.”

Seeing that escape was hopeless, Xiao Fan could only wait for his parents to discover his absence and come rescue him soon.

He endured the humiliation, trying every means to please Qing Yu.

All of this, in Qing Yu’s eyes, made her find Xiao Fan a very interesting fellow, and his talent was also good.

Over time, she agreed to accept him as her disciple, and their relationship gradually grew closer through their interactions.

Years passed, and ten years later, Xiao Fan had grown to twenty-five years old.

The childishness on his face had faded. Although his Heart-Nature was still somewhat naive, his appearance had matured, and he now possessed an extraordinary aura, his Immortal Qi flowing gracefully.

Qing Yu found herself gazing at him in a trance several times.

Xiao Fan’s innocent heart also pounded wildly. ’Yuer Revered Master, why is she looking at me like this? Is she also...’

Xiao Fan: ”Yuer Revered Master, I haven’t been home in a long time. Can I go back for a visit?”

Qing Yu: ”Will you come back?”

Xiao Fan: ”Can I tell my mom and then come back right away?”

Qing Yu: ”Don’t lie to me, or else I’ll punish you severely.”

Xiao Fan: ”My most adorable, beautiful, charming, and lovely Revered Master, how could I ever lie to you?”

Qing Yu: ”Smooth talker, scram.”

Xiao Fan: ”I’m rolling right now.”

Qing Yu watched Xiao Fan’s departing back, smiling sweetly, like a blossoming peach flower.

This boy, he should come back, right? If he really doesn’t, I’ll just go to his home and snatch him back.

...

...

Passing through an Immortal City, Xiao Fan thought for a moment and decided to go in and stroll around, and also buy some small gifts for his mother.

That way, even if she was angry, he could use these small gifts to coax her.

It was the depth of winter. In a corner of the Immortal City, there was a pair of helpless twin girls, huddled together tightly.

The slightly older girl used her tiny body to shield the other girl from the wind and snow.

Though, it was useless.

Their robes were thin, and the white snow fell on their heads, freezing them until their faces were pale, their bodies shivering from the cold, unable to stop trembling.

Their young, innocent faces were filled with pain.

Xiao Fan happened to pass by and was touched by the sight.

”Will you come with me?”

The older sister looked up, her eyes full of vigilance. She said, ”No.”

The younger sister in her arms, however, was shivering from the cold, trembling and calling out, ”Sister, I’m cold.”

Xiao Fan cast a fire-element spell, and the surroundings instantly warmed up. He also cleared the accumulated snow from their heads.

”Are you really not coming? I’m not a bad person.”

The older sister looked at Xiao Fan, then at her sister in her arms, remaining silent.

”Look at her. In this kind of snowy weather, she won’t last much longer.”

The older sister struggled internally, her face full of hesitation, but Xiao Fan directly took them away.

The older sister weakly spoke, ”W-we don’t have money to pay you.”

Xiao Fan smiled: ”This Young Master acts as he pleases. I don’t need money, nor do I use it.”

The older sister looked at his smiling face, her small mouth slightly agape, very surprised, as if he was emitting light.

Xiao Fan rescued the two and brought them home.

Afterward, he learned that they had no names, only saying they were from the Lin family.

He then named the older sister Lin Yu Yue and the younger sister Lin Xin Xi, signifying joy and happiness.

”Why don’t you go home?”

Xin Xi, being sensitive, thought of the painful past and couldn’t stop her tears.

Yu Yue hugged her, comforting her emotions, and said to Xiao Fan:

”We were abandoned. The people in our clan said that we sisters had no Spiritual Root and couldn’t cultivate; Father also shamed us, saying we ruined his reputation, and he expelled us from home.”

”He also said that the Lin family doesn’t need mortals.”

Yu Yue clenched her small fists, her eyes filled with grievance and resentment.

Xiao Fan listened, wanting to speak but holding back.

He didn’t say anything.

Perhaps out of pity, Xiao Fan had Ancestral Dragon prepare immortal medicines and divine materials to transplant Immortal Roots for them, helping them undergo a complete transformation and step onto the Immortal Dao.

The two girls were immensely grateful to Xiao Fan. If not for Xiao Fan, the sisters might have frozen to death in that cold snowy night long ago.

They knew they were unworthy of Xiao Fan, but the light on him was too dazzling. Even if the outcome was death, they couldn’t help but be like moths drawn to a flame.

...

...

Scene after scene of memories flashed before his eyes, making Xiao Fan remember what he used to be like.

”I didn’t expect I was quite innocent back then.”

He laughed wryly, not knowing if he was laughing at his own naivety back then.

Memories surged like a tide, still churning.

Before he was a hundred years old, Xiao Fan ascended to the Taiyi Golden Immortal Realm.

He slew Prodigies, practiced holy methods, seized heavenly opportunities, and even achieved the Grand Unity Golden Immortal Realm at the age of eight hundred.

As soon as he became a Grand Unity Golden Immortal, he dared to venture alone into forbidden lands, annihilating evil Devils from all heavens, and single-handedly slaying ten Primordial Devil Heads, shaking the eight directions of the universe with his Divine Might.

Xiao Fan, triumphant in his youth, displayed his despair-inducing talent. Among his peers in the world, no one could surpass him.

Under the radiance of his light, both the new generation and the older generation of Prodigies were overshadowed.

Xiao Fan’s destiny was too formidable. The strongest Prodigies throughout history could not achieve what he had achieved today.

However, what is rigid is easily broken.

An unexpected dream made Xiao Fan break out in a cold sweat. It was an unforgettable nightmare.

In the dream, he saw his own end.

Death!
