I, the Destined Villain, Start by Controlling the Saint

Exposed? Then die.Lu Shui noticed Lin Yu was acting strangely; such pure Devilish Qi was as if he was a born Devil Head.

How could he have hidden it so well!

”Let me go, don’t disturb this Senior’s Cultivation.”

”When this Senior returns to the world, I will surely make rivers overflow for thousands of miles and turn the cosmos upside down.”

Lin Yu’s answers were irrelevant, displaying an unprecedented ferocity.

Especially his ferocious appearance, which looked even more bloodthirsty and sinister.

Xiao Fan shouted, ”Senior Lu Shui, be careful, he is no longer Lin Yu! I was almost subjected to Possession when I was healing him.”

”It must be that Tiandao Sect discovered his problem and punished him, causing him to be severely injured.”

Possession?!

Lin Ningqin’s heart tightened, and her beautiful eyes reddened.

Did this mean that the previous Lin Yu no longer existed?

Lu Shui didn’t completely believe Xiao Fan’s words; she had never noticed anything unusual about Lin Yu from beginning to end.

It was common for someone undergoing Possession to appear outwardly normal but inwardly different.

However, Lin Yu had always been flamboyant; if he had been subjected to Possession, he would definitely choose to be low-key.

This was illogical.

Lu Shui said nothing more; she lightly raised her jade finger, emitting a point of white light.

The white light shot out swiftly, entering Lin Yu’s head.

Soul Search!

As a point of white light entered his mind, Lin Yu, who had been struggling, turned his eyes white.

He became completely dazed and listless, his head drooping like a walking corpse.

Soon, she found the answer.

Lu Shui found a Demonic Path Cultivation Technique on Lin Yu, called ”Slaying Kin to Prove the Dao.”

The more beloved kin and friends one personally slaughtered, the deeper one’s Demonic Path cultivation would become.

To verify the authenticity of this Cultivation Technique, she even read it carefully, but after only reading the first two pages, she felt the profound demonic nature within it, making her dizzy and lightheaded.

Lu Shui was secretly shocked: ”What a terrifying Demonic Technique! I haven’t even cultivated it, but just by looking at it for a moment, I feel dizzy.”

She continued her Soul Search and saw Lin Yu’s past life.

[When he was young, his parents died, and he was stripped of his bones and his accompanying Immortal Artifact by his clansmen. To eliminate future troubles, he was also thrown into a 絕地 by his clansmen.]

[He survived the disaster, striving tirelessly, and became a disciple of seven Primordial Grand Experts. He emerged and rose to prominence on the eve of the great tribulation.]

These were all normal, nothing unusual.

But the next scene left Lu Shui puzzled.

[Lin Yu accidentally entered a Secret Realm and obtained a miraculous Demonic Path Cultivation Technique, ”Slaying Kin to Prove the Dao,” which could lead to the Saintly Way.]

[Although he didn’t know if it was true, the temptation was too great. Lin Yu returned to the Lin family, first killing hundreds of clansmen who had been his enemies in the past. When he cultivated the ”Slaying Kin to Prove the Dao” Demonic Technique again, it was surprisingly smooth.]

[This Cultivation Technique really works.]

[Therefore, Lin Yu returned to the Lin family and became the Lin family’s young master. He even persuaded his sister to let go of her hatred and use love to influence her enemies.]

[Everything Lin Yu did was to unite the Lin family, to make everyone love and respect him. The nobler his image, the better he treated his clansmen, the more willing his clansmen would be to accept him and consider him their closest person.]

[And his sister Ningqin and Aunt Yinyin were the most important and crucial part of this Cultivation Technique; he had to make them unconditionally trust him.]

[To reconcile the conflict between his sister Ningqin and the Lin family, he went to great lengths, only to capture and kill them all at the last moment!]

Lu Shui finished her Soul Search, feeling incredible.

Was it really like this?

Thinking about it, she had also heard about Lin Yu’s tragic early life, and most of what was described earlier matched the facts.

But the latter half was too perfect.

Before, she had never understood why Lin Yu could let go of his hatred for his father’s killers and return to his ancestors.

If this Demonic Technique was the premise, then it seemed plausible.

But wouldn’t that be too much of a coincidence?

Ningqin asked tremblingly, ”Senior Lu Shui, what happened to my brother? He...”

Ningqin didn’t dare to ask further.

Even if she didn’t like Lin Yu, when she saw his life was in danger, she still worried.

Lu Shui sighed softly and said, ”He is no longer the Lin Yu he once was. Please accept my condolences.”

The phrase ”please accept my condolences” made Ningqin sob uncontrollably.

Xiao Fan offered his shoulder to Ningqin, giving her something to lean on. He gently embraced her, tenderly patting her smooth, jade-like back, and whispered in her ear:

”Ningqin, don’t cry. You still have Aunt Yinyin, and you still have me.”

Lu Shui looked at the scene, somewhat silent.

She looked at Xiao Fan with her beautiful eyes, saying nothing.

”He, how could he be gone?” Ningqin sobbed.

Lu Shui did not hide anything and revealed the whole story.

Cultivating a Demonic Technique, falling into the Demonic Path.

Returning to the Lin family, slaying kin to prove the Dao.

Beloved friends and family, all were his targets.

Lin Ningqin’s tears poured down, and she choked out, ”I understand everything now. No wonder he returned to the Lin family; it turns out he wanted to make the entire Lin family his stepping stone.”

”No wonder my brother, who used to dote on me, became so strict with me, completely disregarding my feelings. He was entangled by demonic nature and had long regarded me as a stepping stone on his cultivation path.”

”He died a long time ago, didn’t he?”

Lu Shui did not speak, because she also did not know the true answer.

Lu Shui said, ”Ningqin, you and Yinyin leave for a while. I will heal Xiao Fan first.”

”Don’t disturb me.”

Ningqin stopped crying and left Xiao Fan’s embrace.

Supported by Hua Yinyin, she left the area.

Xiao Fan looked at Lu Shui and respectfully said, ”My body is fine, Senior Lu Shui, you don’t need to worry.”

Lu Shui smiled and said, ”Do you know something?”

Xiao Fan paused, indicating he didn’t understand.

He said, ”Senior Lu Shui, what do you mean by that? I feel completely confused.”

Lu Shui said, ”I just suspect that Lin Yu’s demonic Possession is related to you. He didn’t fall into a demonic state early or late, but precisely when he was in the same room as you.”

”Don’t you think it’s too strange?”

Xiao Fan looked at Lu Shui and angrily said:

”Senior Lu Shui, what do you mean by that? Do you think I’m lying to you?!”

Lu Shui chuckled, ”I’m just suspicious.”

Xiao Fan: ”Where’s the evidence?”

Lu Shui: ”A hunch.”

As soon as she finished speaking, she struck decisively, grabbing at Xiao Fan’s body, intending to restrain him.

Seeing that he couldn’t keep up the act, Xiao Fan simply revealed his true intentions.

He merely sighed lightly, and the powerful restraint Lu Shui had cast was effortlessly blocked by him, vanishing into thin air.

Lu Shui was greatly alarmed; what formidable strength!

He could block her attack with such ease.

Xiao Fan smiled and said, ”Why bother? I don’t want to kill you.”

Lu Shui’s expression became serious, as if facing a formidable enemy.

She said, ”Don’t you consider Ningqin your sister? Why would you kill her brother Lin Yu?”

”Lin Yu was too much of a hindrance, and besides, I don’t need a reason to kill people.”

”Because I am stronger than him, killing him is only right and proper.”

Lu Shui’s beautiful eyes were filled with disbelief; what an overbearing and unreasonable justification.

”What do you want?” Lu Shui said.

Xiao Fan scoffed, turning the tables. He cast the restraining Spell Lu Shui had used on him back onto her.

Lu Shui didn’t even have time to react before she was bound in place, unable to move.

She wanted to summon her Lifebound Treasure to escape the danger, but found that her Lifebound Treasure was also trembling, as if it had seen something terrifying.

This feeling of utter helplessness and insignificance filled Lu Shui with fear; how could he be so strong? He completely exceeded her imagination.
