I, the Destined Villain, Start by Controlling the Saint

Same origin, same destinyAfter strolling leisurely in the Saint Hall for over a month, Xiao Fan had a clear understanding of most of the Saint Hall’s situation.

“Seven Saint Realm powerhouses, arranged in a Seven Stars Adorning the Moon formation, protect the Saint Hall. Among these seven, the one with the highest cultivation is the Great Dao Saint to the east.”

“Seven Stars Adorning the Moon, combining vertical and horizontal alliances, and relying on the Sacred Artifact of the Hall, harnesses the power of Heaven and Earth. The power unleashed is incredibly formidable, allowing them to remain composed even when facing an attack from a Transcendent Realm Saint.”

The Saint Hall’s profound Foundation was truly impressive.

And this was only the strength on the surface.

Xiao Fan looked towards the center of the Saint Hall and discovered a Forbidden Ground, where the mist was so dense that it even distorted his Po Wang Zhi Yan (Eyes of Truth).

He could only make out blurry figures hidden within, based on the vague outlines.

As Xiao Fan looked towards the Saint Hall’s Forbidden Ground, the Golden Clouds within the Forbidden Ground also reacted.

She instantly condensed, and within the hazy mist, a pair of golden eyes glowed, scanning across the Myriad Realms and Heavens.

“How dare you! Who is peeking at me?”

As she awakened, Xiao Fan also came to his senses.

His peeking was detected, but Xiao Fan was not flustered, because if the Golden Clouds knew his location, she would have directly attacked.

Her loud reaction indicated that she did not know his location.

Withdrawing his gaze, the dark mask was activated, and Xiao Fan’s figure vanished into the Void Realm, simultaneously stirring the Chaos Qi within the Void Realm.

He integrated his figure into it, leaving no trace.

The Golden Clouds tried to search for the source, but found herself in a state of confusion, unable to proceed.

She attempted to deduce, but only found emptiness.

Unwilling to give up, she continued to deduce, and in the most accurate of countless deductions, she only saw a confident figure wearing a dark mask.

He stood there quietly, looking at her, his eyes seemingly filled with a smile, meeting her gaze.

“Who are you, and why are you peeking at me?” the Golden Clouds demanded in thought, an overwhelming Saint might, far surpassing that of an ordinary Transcendent, assailing him.

This was not something she deduced; it was the person himself who stood out, and the unknown fear made her very uneasy.

The Saint might rippled, surging towards the dark mask, intending to tear it off.

But the dark mask was like an illusion; the Saint might passed right through it, causing no substantial damage.

The Golden Clouds was greatly shocked; this person was not simple!

The man wearing the dark mask was Xiao Fan.

He calmly spoke:

“You are the Foundation of the Saint Hall, aren’t you? A formless, shapeless Saint Realm existence. I could tell at a glance that you are not human.”

“You can see through me?” the Golden Clouds said in a deep voice.

“I can’t see through you, but I can roughly understand what you are,” Xiao Fan said with a smile.

Although Xiao Fan knew nothing, he could pretend to know everything.

Anyway, the other party wouldn’t know he was faking it.

“Playing tricks, I’d like to see what you’re capable of.” The Golden Clouds felt a profound unease in her heart; that sense of danger was too strong.

The Golden Clouds attacked resolutely, her clouds dispersing and then re-condensing into strands of golden threads.

The tips of the threads contained the Heaven and Earth, with stars shining within them, and they shot towards Xiao Fan.

The dense attack was like billions of stars falling, drawing bright lines across the night sky.

Xiao Fan did not dodge or evade, allowing the golden threads to pierce through his heart.

As the two made contact, the Golden Clouds secretly thought, ’Not good, that’s an illusion!’ It wasn’t a physical entity.

How did he do it? He actually managed to deceive my perception.

Moreover, this attack completely exposed her aura.

Xiao Fan smiled and said, “I was right; you are Luck itself. All the Prodigies and Disciples in the Heavens are your creations, aren’t they?”

Although this was a guess, he had to be righteous about it.

What if he guessed correctly!

As expected, the Golden Clouds was very shocked.

Impossible, no one knew her true nature, except for the dark Luck that was born with her.

The Golden Clouds immediately thought of a possibility, and she said in shock, “You’re not dead?”

“Impossible, weren’t you, this dark fellow, dispersed by me? How could you still be alive?”

Not dead?

Xiao Fan was stunned for a moment. It seemed this guy had a mortal enemy.

He remained silent, thinking about how to answer without revealing any flaws.

“I knew you weren’t dead, but what can you do even if you are alive?”

“I have already extended my reach into the Heavens. Anyone who is a Genius is my person. You coming back will only mean dying again.”

The Golden Clouds sneered, seemingly seeing through everything behind Xiao Fan.

Before Xiao Fan could speak, the sound of the Great Dao circulated between Heaven and Earth, and that familiar voice made Xiao Fan tremble.

“ATong, you!”

[Where there is light, there is shadow. As long as you live, I will never die.]

[When darkness envelops the Heavens, my figure will be everywhere. This time, the loser can only be you.]

Not only could Xiao Fan hear it, but the System’s voice also spread out, allowing the Golden Clouds to hear it.

[Hey, let’s go.]

The System called out to him to run, in a voice only Xiao Fan could perceive.

Xiao Fan decisively ran. Holy crap, it felt like he had stumbled into something big.

The Golden Clouds looked at the disappearing figure, her heart filled with trepidation. The thing she worried about had still happened.

“No, I must speed up. I must become a Supreme True Saint before her, otherwise I will be devoured by her.”

...

...

When he reappeared, Xiao Fan was already back in Qingshuang Immortal Realm.

In his confrontation with the Golden Clouds, he saw a side of the System that was unknown to others.

It seemed that ATong was an existence with the same origin as the Golden Clouds.

“ATong, do you have anything to say?” Xiao Fan asked.

[Respected Host, whatever you wish to know, this System will definitely tell you everything without reservation.]

“Didn’t you say you were an Opportunity?”

[Master, didn’t ATong help you?]

“You did help, but the weight of this Opportunity of yours is a bit heavy.”

[Master, I can lose weight.]

[Master, ATong only cares about the Host’s feelings. Isn’t that enough?]

Hiss!

Xiao Fan felt that the System was acting strange; her voice was no longer cold and mechanical, but soft and weak, like some strange sound.

“Stop, be serious.”

“I need to know your origin. It would be best if you could materialize so I can knead you, no, so I can grasp you, otherwise I feel unsafe.”

Xiao Fan said with a righteous expression.

[That’s enough, do you really want to become a lecherous old pervert consumed by lust?]

“Haven’t I already become one?”

[...]

The System was speechless.

After a long while, she slowly spoke:

[Actually, this System is the black Luck that accompanies the Golden Clouds, sharing the same origin, jointly governing the life and death of all things in Heaven and Earth.]

A black silk System? That’s pretty good too.

“You continue, I’m listening.”

[Actually, there’s nothing special. The Golden Clouds represents Heavenly Mandate, and the black Luck represents Heavenly Fall.]

[Heavenly Mandate determines prosperity and flourishing, while Heavenly Fall represents wilting and decay. Their alternation creates the fundamental cycle of the world: starting from obscurity, rising against the odds, reaching the peak, and then declining after reaching its zenith.]

[In the beginning, this System and the Golden Clouds lived in peace. Even if there were some disputes, they wouldn’t escalate into major conflicts. But as our strength grew, our tempers also grew, and this System and she fought every day.]

[When existences at the apex of the Universe fought, the true starry rivers trembled, the rules of the Heavens were in chaos, and the Great Dao did not roar, because the Great Dao was our subordinate, and it dared not make a sound at all.]

[Especially when pursuing the Supreme True Saint, we fought even more fiercely, to the point where Heaven and Earth shattered, and living beings were one in a billion. We both wanted to achieve the Supreme True Saint Realm one step ahead of the other, to suppress the other.]

[This System can no longer remember how long such days lasted. Anyway, when I opened my eyes, I was fighting, and when I closed them, it was to prepare for the next fight.]

[Until we grew tired, this System and Heavenly Mandate reached an agreement to jointly govern the Heavens, allowing the Universe to have four seasons of Reincarnation, Yin and Yang alternation, and the separation of life and death, establishing the laws of Heaven and Earth’s operation.]

[In the last alternation, Heavenly Mandate was unprecedentedly prosperous. When it learned that this System’s ascension would bring endless destruction, those Saints united, taking the Luck represented by the Golden Clouds as their master, to suppress this System and create an eternal world that would never perish.]

[I thought the Golden Clouds wouldn’t pay attention, but who would have thought that she actually listened to slander and gathered the power of all Saints to drown me in endless silence, forever falling into Reincarnation.]

[To maintain prosperity, the Golden Clouds ordered the Saints to build the Saint Hall, extending her reach throughout the Myriad Realms and Heavens.]

[She also attempted to gather the Power Of Will of all living beings to become a Supreme True Saint, but she failed.]

[This System wants to clip her wings, so I can only hunt her Child of Destiny.]

“Then why did you choose me?”

[It wasn’t that I chose you, but that I could only choose you. Ordinary people cannot bear the power of Heavenly Fall, but you can.]

[Moreover, this System sees that you are naturally timid. Even though your Host’s parents are incredibly powerful, and a single command from them could flatten enemies, the Host never relies on the prestige of his parents.]

[The Host likes to secretly scheme behind the scenes. Even when hiring an assassin, he goes through 88 layers of transfers, using Puppets to appear on his behalf, and burning them after use, leaving no trace at all.]

Xiao Fan’s face showed a smile. He thought she was going to praise him for being naturally extraordinary, handsome and dashing, at least a peerless Genius. If you are me, are you the most timid?

You guess why I’m not smiling.jpg.

I feel like you’re praising me, but the direction of the praise seems a bit off. What do you mean by ’scheming behind the scenes’? I call that ’striking unexpectedly to ensure self-destruction’, okay?

[When I said ’non-you-cannot’, besides your timid nature, it’s also because you are indeed a Genius, capable of achieving Transcendent.]

“That’s not right, is it? Isn’t my ability to cultivate to the Transcendent Realm because you’re helping?”

[No, becoming a Saint is the end. The steps beyond that must be walked by yourself. What I give you is just guidance. Even without road signs, you would still be able to reach the Transcendent Realm.]

[It might just take a bit more time.]

That sounded comfortable. It finally wasn’t as perverted as what he heard before.

I am indeed a Genius!

“But you can’t even defeat her, it can only be considered a draw. Aren’t you just dragging me along to be a scapegoat?”

[No, this System can see that your potential is not limited to this; at least it’s much higher than this System’s.

ATong is willing to serve you as master, and only hopes that when the master achieves the Supreme True Saint, you can take down the Golden Clouds and brutally ravage her.]

“Which ’her’?”

[The ’her’ who can satisfy your lust.]

Hiss, Xiao Fan finally understood. This world was just a huge catfight between women.

And he, Xiao Fan, loved to watch such dramas the most.

“Now I have no choice but to take her down.”

“Daddy, you’re back.”

Xiao Fang was originally playing in the water with Dragon Ningbing.

As soon as she saw Xiao Fan return, she immediately flew up, shook off the water droplets on her body, and rushed towards him.

With a splash, she crashed into his arms.

“Daddy, where did you go? Why didn’t you take me with you?” Xiao Fang said, pouting.

Xiao Fan looked at Xiao Fang’s tender, pretty face and rubbed her little head.

“How about I take you out next time?”

Upon hearing this, her originally unhappy little face immediately lit up with joy.

“You said so.”

“Pinky promise, no lying.” Xiao Fang’s tender voice was very serious, and she held out her small hand.

Xiao Fan smiled and made a pinky promise with her as she wished.

“Oh, right, Daddy, I remembered something that will make you very happy,” Xiao Fang said seriously.

“Oh, what is it?” Xiao Fan only took it as her joking.

A child, what could she possibly do, find him a woman?

Xiao Fang smiled triumphantly, “I recently learned a new ability that can make Daddy’s book faster.”

Xiao Fan’s expression changed. Uh, this ability sounded like it would make one happy.
