Super Gene Hunting Ground

Yang Xiao slowly walked towards Qin Yue, with a killing aura surrounding him.

Qin Yue was utterly panicked. In the past, he was the one who decided the life and death of others, but now, it was others deciding his fate. For the first time, he truly felt the threat of death.

”Yang Xiao, I’m begging you to spare me. Whatever conditions you have, just name them and I’ll agree.”

Yang Xiao sneered:

”I originally didn’t intend to kill you, but what you said before the match made me realize that I must kill you today. Otherwise, once you leave this place, you’ll definitely find a chance to seek revenge and kill me.

Heh, Qin Yue, do you know what the stupidest thing you did was?

It’s trapping yourself in this arena, waiting for me to slaughter you. If it wasn’t for the life-and-death challenge you set up, how would I have the opportunity to kill you?”

At this moment, Qin Yue was completely broken down.

The academy strictly prohibits interference with the life-and-death duels of its students.

Once a student steps into the arena, life and death are in their own hands.

This is actually meant to instill a sense of awe in all students about the life-and-death duels, to prevent them from issuing such challenges lightly over minor grudges without expecting any intervention from the academy at the critical moment of life and death.

Unless Yang Xiao voluntarily gave up, Qin Yue’s life was in Yang Xiao’s hands today.

Qin Yue was terrified, drenched in a cold sweat,

With a ”thud,” he knelt in front of Yang Xiao.

The whole audience watched and let out a collective ”oh.”

Qin Xiaotian was extremely tense, after all, it was his own brother’s life.

”Director, what do you think?”

Xiao Ling asked the director Zhu Peng beside her.

Zhu Peng sighed and said:

”The academy’s rules will not be abolished for anyone. Qin Yue’s life is up to himself.”

In the audience, Qin Yue’s followers, Han Po, Shi Gandang, and others were also extremely tense, their bodies trembling.

They had never imagined such a situation.

Yang Xiao looked at Qin Yue kneeling in front of him, smiled faintly, and said:

”I recall you said before the match that you’d cut off my legs and arms and humiliate Yelu Caiyun, right?”

”No, Yang Xiao, please let me explain, I was momentarily foolish. I deserve to die, I’m begging you to spare my life. How about this, I’ll give you ten billion Crystal Coins, no, fifty billion, no, a hundred billion, a hundred billion Crystal Coins, how about that?”

”Heh, a hundred billion Crystal Coins? It might be tempting for others, but for me, I really don’t care.”

With that, Yang Xiao raised his hand and punched at Qin Yue.

Qin Yue barely dodged and simultaneously used a Wind Thunder Fist against Yang Xiao.

”Bang!”

Qin Yue’s body flew out again, heavily hitting the ground, spewing blood from his mouth.

”Brother, brother,”

Qin Xiaotian suddenly shouted, jumping towards the Defense Light Screen, with a Longsword in hand, slashing fiercely at the Defense Light Screen.

”Yang Xiao, if you dare to kill my brother, I will definitely kill you.”

Qin Xiaotian’s voice was loud enough that Yang Xiao could hear it on the stage, across the Defense Light Screen.

Yang Xiao was startled and turned to look, finding a figure standing in front of the Defense Light Screen, really brandishing a Longsword at it.

However, the energy of the Defense Light Screen was evidently higher than Qin Xiaotian’s attack damage and wasn’t broken.

This sudden scene immediately caused an uproar among the audience.

Apart from the host, the academy had also sent over a dozen guards to maintain order for this life-and-death duel.

Four guards immediately soared into the air, reaching Qin Xiaotian and sternly shouted:

”How dare you! Your actions have severely disrupted this match, leave immediately.”

Two of the guards recognized Qin Xiaotian, after all, he was once a prominent figure in the academy. Even though he had entered the Advanced Academy Department, many mentors and guards still remembered him.

”Xiaotian, you should know the rules as a senior of the academy, quickly leave.”

Qin Xiaotian immediately said to that guard:

”I’m begging you, open the Defense Light Screen, my brother is in danger, please save my brother, he’ll be killed by him!”

One of the guards shook his head,

”Xiaotian, the academy’s rules are fair to everyone. Besides, your brother initiated this life-and-death duel, we are truly powerless,

whether your brother can survive depends on his fate.”

No matter how Qin Xiaotian pleaded, the guards insisted that he immediately leave the arena.

Qin Xiaotian, feeling helpless, took one last look at the stage at Yang Xiao and Qin Yue.

At that moment, Yang Xiao also turned to look at him.

Qin Xiaotian immediately shouted to Yang Xiao:

”Yang Xiao, if you dare to kill my brother, I’ll definitely kill you.”

The guards immediately shouted:

”Qin Xiaotian, please leave the arena immediately, or don’t blame us for being impolite.”

...

Yang Xiao, mildly annoyed by Qin Xiaotian’s threat, looked at Qin Yue and smiled,

”That’s your brother, right?”

Qin Yue immediately answered:

”Yes, Yang Xiao, that’s my brother. He’s about to break through to the Empire Middle Level Realm, cultivating in the Advanced Academy Department of Flying Leopard Academy. If you kill me, my brother won’t spare you.”

Qin Xiaotian suddenly found a lifeline.

”Our Qin family is the richest in the Flying Leopard Empire. My father has unusual connections with the Emperor of the Flying Leopard Empire. Humph, if you dare kill me, I dare say you won’t survive three days, they’ll immediately have you killed.”

Yang Xiao was momentarily stunned, looked at Qin Yue, and asked in a soft voice:

”Really?”

”Heh, what do you think? Do you think our Qin family won’t avenge me?”

Yang Xiao, feigning fear, even trembled slightly,

”I-I’m really scared.”

”Haha, Yang Xiao, you’re scared? You should be scared! You’re just an ordinary civilian, how can you fight me?”

”Bang!”

Before Qin Yue could finish speaking, he felt a pressure on his chest, his body flew backward, and landed heavily on the ground.

”Pfft!”

Qin Yue spat a mouthful of blood; this time, he felt unable to get up.

Qin Xiaotian, being forcefully escorted out by four guards, was shaken by the loud bang from the arena, abruptly turned around, and saw Qin Yue being blasted away.

”Brother!”

Qin Xiaotian let out a miserable cry, turned, trying to rush over, but was tightly held by two guards, forcibly dragged out of the arena.

Yang Xiao walked over step by step, placing a foot on Qin Yue’s chest.

Qin Yue looked at Yang Xiao in despair and fear,

”Yang, Yang Xiao, I’m begging you, don’t kill me, I’ll agree to any condition,”

”Hehe, alright, you just said you wanted to cut off my hands and feet. Fine, I’ll start with your hands and feet.”

With that, Yang Xiao grabbed one of Qin Yue’s hands and pulled hard,

With a crunch, he tore off Qin Yue’s arm.

Qin Yue let out a miserable scream and fainted.

The entire audience was in shock, utterly silent.

No one expected Yang Xiao to be so decisive and ruthless.

From the Genetic Evolution on Earth to Purple Origin Star and then to Witch Star, Yang Xiao had experienced countless cruel battles. Faced with enemies, his heart had long been steeled.

He had a kind heart, but only towards kind and vulnerable people like Bing’er. Towards Qin Yue, he had not an ounce of pity.

This feud was already established. He wouldn’t naively believe that sparing Qin Yue would earn his gratitude. Given Qin Yue’s character, as soon as he survived this ordeal, he’d definitely find ways to kill Yang Xiao.

If Qin Xiaotian had knelt outside begging for mercy and Qin Yue had stopped threatening him, Yang Xiao might have hesitated for a moment.

Yang Xiao applied a little force with his foot, and with a ”crack,” Qin Yue’s chest was crushed, his internal organs shattered, and blood spurted out.

Qin Yue was completely dead, and no Elixir Medicine could save him now.
