Super Gene Hunting Ground

Today, five chapters. If I can’t, I’ll eat shit live.)

Qin Yue was getting more and more pissed off at being publicly berated by Yang Xiao in the cafeteria today.

In a small private room on the second floor of the cafeteria, he was with a few friends he’d invited over, and everyone had just come from the cafeteria, hearing the gossip of the bystanders.

Everyone was excited to hear that Qin Yue got berated; it was like watching a tiger being mocked by a monkey.

Everyone was eager to ask Qin Yue,

”Boss Qin, what’s the situation? I heard someone provoked you in the cafeteria just now?”

”It’s about that girl you’ve been chasing lately, Yelu Caiyun, right?”

”When did our great Qin ever get dissed like this? It was an eye-opener for me today.”

”Boss Qin, how do you plan to handle this matter?”

”Yeah, boss, you can’t just let the kid provoke you like that in public, can you? It’s a big hit to your reputation.”

...

Even though they were Qin Yue’s usual followers, they also loved a good show.

In their eyes, Qin Yue was the boss, capable of resolving anything.

Flying Leopard Academy is divided into a Primary Level and a High-Level College. All newcomers train in the Primary Level until they break through to the Emperor Level, only then can they enter the High-Level College.

The Primary Level is in the valley, while the High-Level College is up the hill in another place.

There are over ten thousand students in the Primary Level, while the High-Level College only has about three thousand.

Qin Yue has been in the Primary Level for three years, and he’s soon to break through to the Emperor Level and enter the High-Level College. However, he feels so relaxed in the Primary Level,

relying on his familial background and his near King-Level peak Evolution Level, he’s become the boss, summoning wind and rain at the Primary Level, with a group of followers fawning over him, idly seeking beauties to flirt with, such a comfy life.

But once he enters the High-Level College, he’d instantly turn into a mere minion.

So, Qin Yue was in no rush to break through to the Emperor Level, just to enjoy a few more carefree years in the Primary Level. His family doesn’t need him to uphold the family name, he might as well be a quiet rich second generation enjoying life.

Young, handsome, and rich, what could be better than college life?

Qin Yue has two best buddies, one named Shi Gandang and the other Han Po; both are close to King-Level peak and are also considered rich kids, although their backgrounds pale in comparison to Qin Yue’s.

Shi Gandang knocked on the bowl with his chopsticks, saying:

”Boss, I’ll teach that kid a lesson.”

Han Po also said:

”That kid has no eyes; I’ll cripple him myself.”

Someone said:

”The academy forbids private fighting. If the disciplinary office finds out, it’s a big problem. Besides fines and corporal punishment, it could lead to expulsion.”

Flying Leopard Academy has strict rules; whether you’re a normal student, a rich kid, or even a member of the Royal Family, any violation would lead to punishment.

Qin Yue and his gang usually just indulge in hedonism and occasionally minor brawls, rarely overstepping.

Han Po sneered:

”Rules are dead; we are alive. The rules forbid private fighting, but you’re allowed to resist humiliation. We could set a trap and have Yang Xiao make the first move.”

”Yeah, we could also issue him a challenge, officially duel in the arena, which doesn’t violate the rules.”

”Boss Qin, are you sure Yelu Caiyun and that kid haven’t got a thing going on? Yelu Caiyun’s not simple, you’ve been chasing her for so long, and she rarely accepts your expensive gifts, just keeps a vague relationship without letting you advance. What’s her deal?”

”Yes, I noticed she also has ambiguous ties with Chen Cangshan and others, but keeps a distance with everyone. What’s her game? Is she trying to string everyone along with her looks?”

Qin Yue smiled after hearing this and said:

”You guys don’t interact much with Yelu Caiyun; you don’t understand her. I do. She’s not interested in money but highly interested in boosting her Genetic Evolution abilities,

Didn’t I appeal to her by promising to get some Genetic Modification Potion from the Great Dragon Empire?

I’d almost hooked her, just a bit more effort, and I’d have her in bed.

Damn it, that infuriating Yang Xiao messed it up today. I don’t know why he’s so familiar with the Great Dragon Empire’s Genetic Modification Potion, but he outright called me a fraud in front of Yelu Caiyun, claiming I couldn’t get it.

Now everything’s ruined, and it looks like I won’t win over Yelu Caiyun anytime soon, it’s maddening.”

After Qin Yue said this, he lifted his glass and drank it in one gulp.

Someone laughed and said:

”Boss, why go through all this trouble for a woman? Just slip her some Love Potion when she’s not looking, problem solved.”

Everyone burst out laughing.

Qin Yue chuckled and said:

”You know nothing. What’s the point of that? No challenge at all. When I, Qin Yue, want a woman, can’t I just pick one at random?”

”Of course, they keep swarming you all the time.”

Qin Yue said:

”I just like the thrill of this fishing game with Yelu Caiyun. Don’t you get it? She’s fishing me, while I pretend to let her. Once I get bored, I’ll reveal the truth. Who’s fishing whom here, ha!”

Everyone laughed loudly again.

These guys were Qin Yue’s trusted close friends and they always hung out, drinking and chasing women together.

Qin Yue continued:

”Yelu Caiyun is a schemer with a complex personality; she’d only willingly sleep with you if she really likes you, or if you’re worth it.

I heard Yelu Caiyun is under immense pressure from her family; she’s got average talent and only got into Flying Leopard Academy because Chen Cangshan helped her privately.

Even with Chen Cangshan’s big help, he didn’t manage to win her over. You see, this woman’s hard to get, isn’t she?”

”Boss Qin, why bother trying to win over Yelu Caiyun? It’s a waste of time; the academy’s full of women waiting for you to uncover.”

”Ha, what’s the fun in them? No challenge whatsoever. Only Yelu Caiyun gives me a sense of difficulty, of accomplishment. I just love this feeling.”

”We’ve drifted off topic, what about Yang Xiao?” Han Po asked.

”Yang Xiao, I bet he likes Yelu Caiyun too and got trapped by her schemes. Love makes one blind and brave. Otherwise, where’d he get the guts to challenge me in public? He just wanted to impress Yelu Caiyun.

Humph, he’s a newbie who didn’t bother to find out who I am, and dared to challenge me publicly. How can I possibly swallow this humiliation? If I let it go, how will I survive at Flying Leopard Academy?

He likes being in the spotlight, huh? You two go find out his routine; find a chance to ambush him, break his legs.

No, if you break his legs, he’ll recover with a Medium Blood Pill. Blind him instead. As long as no one dies, it should be okay. Be discreet and leave no traces. I’ll make sure the Security Team doesn’t investigate further. Heh, fighting me, he’s too wet behind the ears; won’t even know how he dies.”

”Ha, boss, let’s drink, don’t let trash ruin our buzz.”

”Cheers!”

”Let’s get back to discussing how to help boss get Yelu Caiyun.”
