Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Without making any choice, but relying on his own judgment, he kept both my avatars under control.

Is this his true strength?

The wings of the eagle with a V-shaped pattern in its eyes crossed, and a thin shield rose on its body.

Yang Yu swung his sword with all his might, shattering the shield on the eagle.

The orange sword blade cut through the eagle’s wings, slicing open its chest, and a great gush of black magic power poured forth.

Agares actively abandoned the part of the crocodile, and during the journey of its sliced body, it was annihilated by Iyas, leaving him extremely weak now.

However, this doesn’t mean Agares will completely give up resisting.

As long as his Demon Gathering Core remains within Lord Baal, even if he dies now, he will someday be reborn.

As long as Lord Baal can survive and escape from here, he still has a chance to be reborn.

But to ensure Lord Baal survives, escapes from here, this man will likely become a massive obstacle.

If he can severely injure this man, the siege against Lord Baal will certainly halt temporarily, giving Lord Baal ample time to escape.

Yang Yu swayed the black tachi, swiftly maneuvering on the eagle-transformed Agares, draining the last drop of blood from Agares’s blood bar.

The eagle that hovered in the sky was torn apart, turning into clusters of black magic power, hovering mid-air.

With his last bit of consciousness, Agares controlled the large amount of dispersed black magic, causing the fallen black to violently collide in the air, unleashing terrifying energy, which exploded with a roar in mid-air.

The fallen magic power possesses more destructive power than ordinary magic power.

Though the eagle transformed by Agares isn’t large, the explosion it causes is enough to destroy a building.

Yang Yu, sensing something amiss, quickly used the Golden Glass to swiftly distance himself from the explosion center, opened his shield, but still couldn’t dodge in time.

Fortunately, after clearing the soaring eagles, Iyas felt a bit worried and rushed toward Yang Yu in the first instance.

With the Guiding Scepter raised, a beam of light flickered above the not-so-large scepter, erecting a Holy Light Shield for Yang Yu.

The Holy Light Shield persisted briefly amidst the violent explosion, then shattered and vanished without a trace.

Yang Yu rolled in the air, enveloped by dense smoke and black magic, landing atop the ruins.

By timely activating a skill to increase tanking, Yang Yu wasn’t much harmed in Agares’s explosion.

Even before the reverberations of the explosion faded, Yang Yu swiftly lifted his head, looking towards the direction where the other eagle was confined.

The other eagle also experienced a huge explosion, completely shattering the thorns that held it captive.

It seems Agares wanted to take a gamble.

If Yang Yu still harbors doubt and rushes towards another eagle, the explosions of two eagles could flank him, letting him have nowhere to retreat, affected by the explosion.

But at such a critical juncture, how could Yang Yu take risks?

Agares’s final gamble was utterly in vain.

Yang Yu didn’t drop his guard, casually opened the panel, and checked the task.

After defeating ranked demons, one can earn rewards from the task bar, and check from the experience bar whether experience was gained.

The task of subjugating Agares faintly lit up, the gained experience was completely normal, allowing Yang Yu to momentarily lay down the stone hanging in his heart, confirming he completely defeated Agares.

Now finally, he need not worry about Agares using any special displacement skill to disrupt the battlefield.

But the battle is far from over.

What Agares detonated included not only the two eagles he transformed into but also the massive crocodile he left behind.

The massive crocodile rapidly shrank at a speed visible to the naked eye, becoming a silver-white pedestal embedded with gemstones, and the next second emitted dazzling light, exploding, and the violent energy instantly swept the surroundings.

Lotcar clamped down on Qiuye, who wanted to react, stepping on the ”scar” left by the massive crocodile on the ruins, swiftly climbing up to the still uncollapsed ground, watching the black light soar into the sky.

Tico and Li Yan opened their magic shields, pausing their harassment of Baal, sprayed into the sky by the black light!

Gao Yuanyi also sensed the explosion below but couldn’t overly evade because he had to tangle with Baal, eventually affected by the huge explosion, having a lot of blood burned in one go.

The thick smoke was pungent, raising the huge mechanical arm Laplace, Gao Yuanyi grabbed Lord Baal’s length spear thrusting straight at him, yet a sharp black blade immediately dashed out from the black mist, striking towards his head.

Gao Yuanyi’s ghost horn emitted light, his head tilted back, biting down on the black blade.

Lord Baal seemed unaffected by the explosion, continuing to fight just like earlier.

Pulling out the small whirlwind ball prepared beforehand from his waist, Gao Yuanyi threw it towards the incoming attack path, one by one ping-pong ball-sized balls unfolded wings, spinning up hurricanes, blowing away the pervading black smoke.

The black length spear Gao Yuanyi caught, and the black blade he bit down was unheld.

Lord Baal used magic to control black weapons for attacking, solo cutting across the sky, swiftly distancing himself from the battlefield.

Lord Baal could sense Agares was dead, wanting to leave here, couldn’t borrow his strength anymore.

All he could do now was rely on his strength to leave the Demon King City during the little time Agares bought him.

But Gao Yuanyi, who received the command, wouldn’t let Lord Baal retreat easily.

”Hm...

This blood volume, to trigger the Green-faced Ghost King’s effect, still needs hitting twice with skills.

If he comes, he’ll surely ask me to use it.

Lower the blood volume a little more.

Gaining another skill will make the remaining battle easier.”

The flame ejector underfoot crackled, seeming unable to hold up, but there’s no time to switch now.

Activating the flame ejector to full power, from Gao Yuanyi’s feet burst fierce flames, he instantly transformed into a rocket flying to the sky, closing the distance with Lord Baal.

Midway, the flame ejector under Gao Yuanyi’s feet suddenly weakened in power, spurting a pack of black smoke, seemingly on the brink of exploding.

Ignoring the cry from underfoot, Gao Yuanyi lifted his huge fist:

”Laplace, don’t let him look down on us!

Ghost Charge!”

Gao Yuanyi’s body suddenly disappeared in the air, instantly arriving before Lord Baal, with a huge fist aiming straight at Lord Baal’s face.

Lord Baal crossed his hands, arms transforming into black iron plates.

With a ”boom” sound, Gao Yuanyi’s mechanical fist met the black iron plate, instantly knocking Baal flying several meters.

Staggering, Baal barely steadied himself mid-air, pulling a black bow and arrow from behind, swiftly aiming at the rocket ejecting fire beneath Gao Yuanyi’s feet.
