Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Covering his face, Bar’s fingers show eyes that are crimson.

Yang Yu’s kick just now wasn’t too damaging, but it was extremely insulting.

If other demons were present, no matter how they imagined, they wouldn’t have thought Bar would be hit in the face twice by a mere human in such a short time.

Anger surged to his head, Bar breathed in and out, calmed his emotions, and gradually regained composure.

In the past, dealing with angels, similar scenarios often occurred, and Bar remembers well the consequences of impulsiveness.

Initially, demons lacked emotions, but after discovering that magic power was sometimes influenced by emotions, ancient humans began intentionally adding emotions to demons.

Finding that anger benefited demons in their battle against angels, ancient humans focused on reinforcing this emotion.

On the eve of battling the goddess, demons were imbued with more emotions.

This led them to choose betrayal after witnessing the goddess’s power.

The problem is, when demons were given emotions, they were also given considerable wisdom, quickly gaining experience from past battles.

If this level caused Bar to lose control, he wouldn’t have waited so long, standing calmly here.

Yang Yu also considered the strategy of provoking Bar, making him lose judgment and make frequent mistakes, but in the end, Yang Yu gave up.

Gao Yuanyi shook in mid-air as Yang Yu signaled to Gao Yuanyi:

”The crisis earlier, barely resolved, be careful next time.

Bai Jin and Iyas are here, I’ll leave this to you to hold.

I’m going to take care of Agares!”

After speaking, Yang Yu released Gao Yuanyi’s mechanical arm.

Gao Yuanyi shook and shot up several meters, using some effort to regain balance.

You... couldn’t you give a heads up?

Gao Yuanyi hadn’t gotten his thoughts out when he saw Demon Bar’s body swiftly sliding through the air, trailing darkness, rushing toward the falling Yang Yu.

A gigantic ghost shadow flashed behind Gao Yuanyi, merging into his body.

Using [Ghost Dance. Modified], at full throttle, Gao Yuanyi chased after Bar.

Clenching his fist, blue currents flickered on [Laplace], Gao Yuanyi punched Bar’s head.

Black was released from his body; a cubic shield enveloped Bar.

With a ”crack,” blue currents scurried across the cubic surface, cracks spreading from the top of Bar’s head, extending over every part of the blue shield.

The cube crumbled, Gao Yuanyi’s fist continuing toward Bar’s head.

Grabbing the surrounding black mist, Bar pulled out a shield from the mist, blocking Gao Yuanyi’s powerful charging fist from above to below at the last critical moment.

”Annoying back and forth.

Really reminds me of that swarm of angels.” Bar’s eyes showed extreme displeasure.

”That’s quite an honor.”

Flames ejected from the soles, occupying an advantageous position above, Gao Yuanyi unhesitatingly increased strength, pushing Bar toward the ground.

In the air, locked in stalemate, Yang Yu free-fell toward the giant crocodile.

Utilizing [Incredible Braking Boots], Yang Yu smoothly landed on the crocodile’s back.

Tico and Li Yan inflicted barely any damage on the crocodile; the giant crocodile, although part of Agares, could be considered as Equipment.

The Demon King’s armor has an extremely thick shield.

This, probably just like that.

Without destroying this gigantic crocodile, it’s likely impossible to cause real harm to Agares.

Luckily, this gigantic crocodile was part of Agares.

Yang Yu could judge through his attack on the crocodile how much damage the giant crocodile would transfer to the main body.

Exerting full strength, Yang Yu slashed the giant crocodile’s hard scales, inflicting minimal damage.

Applying the damage calculation formula, the giant crocodile precisely transferred ten percent of the damage to Agares.

Struggling on the slope, the crocodile tried to climb out of the pit, its sharp claws piercing buildings on Demon King City, penetrating the ground, attempting to escape, lifting clouds of dust, engulfing Yang Yu instantly.

Taking out [Broken Cocoon Butterfly], Yang Yu tried to create a clean space amidst the yellow dust.

The giant crocodile intensified, using sharp claws to sweep around while swinging its tail to stir more dust clouds.

Standing on the module, Lotcar and Qiuye gradually lost sight of the crocodile’s body.

Suddenly, a huge bloody mouth pierced through the dense dust, biting toward Qiuye and Lotcar.

Qiuye and Lotcar reacted quickly, jumping from one protruding module to another.

The giant crocodile moved forward, crawling onto a slightly inclined slope, executing the recent attack.

Feet firmly stuck on the crocodile’s massive scales, a hint of red spread from Yang Yu’s chest, cloaking him in a blood-red war garment.

Raising the black saber, Yang Yu fiercely stabbed Agares below, effortlessly piercing the giant crocodile’s back, blood-like magic power flowing from the crocodile’s wound.

This black saber could even penetrate dragon scales, let alone the giant crocodile created by Agares!

The crocodile ignored Yang Yu’s attack, plunging its claws deep into the lifted ground, continuing to bite at Lotcar and Qiuye on the module.

Cold Frost Ice Arrows descended from the sky, densely bombarding the crocodile’s mouth, forming huge ice blocks in its mouth.

The crocodile exerted great effort to bite the ice blocks into ice shards.

The crocodile didn’t change target, persistently lifting its massive mouth towards Qiuye and Lotcar to bite.

Don’t be fooled by the crocodile’s ferocity; its controller had long descended to the ground using the dust for cover, ready to flee.

The injuries of various sizes stimulated Agares’s body; he maintained contact with the crocodile, which transferred a portion of received damage to him.

Agares knew the crocodile wouldn’t last long; rather than being struck by Yang Yu into undoing the transformation, why not seek another way?

Yang Yu transmitting to Gao Yuanyi’s side unfolded before Agares’s eyes, Yang Yu’s [Protective Assistance Charge] accidentally exposed the general area of [Disrupting Hurricane].

If Gao Yuanyi’s [Disrupting Hurricane] was spherical and centered on the position when activated, it’s easy to deduce there also exists a teleportation spot within the sunken ground.

Gao Yuanyi was fighting Bar without a chance to reuse that skill.

But Bar had to remain cautious; the feeling of being besieged wasn’t pleasant.

Agares first sliced some crucial body parts, transforming them into a mighty eagle, then created several fake eagles, blending them in.

Unfortunately, Agares’s sneaky plan was again exposed before Yang Yu and the others.

The moment Agares severed control, his attribute disappeared from Yang Yu’s panel, leaving the gigantic crocodile as an empty shell.

No matter how Yang Yu attacked, no clear damage was inflicted.
