Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

The breeze brushed past their faces as the demon army camp came into view.

Receiving orders from the Command Center, the majority of regions saw the demon clan switch from offense to defense.

But this did not mean the demon army would take a long vacation and rest in place.

The soldiers gathered in front of the military camp, forming neat arrays, continually drilling in preparation for the next battle.

Black Diamond Lorne felt conflicted.

Thanks to Bai Jin and their magic, the steel creations produced by Black Diamond Lorne could swiftly advance at speeds three to four times faster than before, arriving at the transmission platform earlier than expected.

However, Black Diamond Lorne couldn’t feel relieved, as this clearly demonstrated the formidable capabilities of Yang Yu and his group, and it wasn’t just Yang Yu who warranted attention.

...Bringing such a group to Demon King City was likely to bode ill.

But since Lord Demon King had given the order, Black Diamond Lorne could only respect the Demon King’s choice.

”We are about to reach the camp, I’ve already informed them ahead of time.

Don’t forget the promise you made to me.

If you dare to break the agreement, find your way to Demon King City yourselves.”

Black Diamond Lorne glanced at Yang Yu behind him, who nodded nonchalantly, as if capturing him was just a matter of minutes, with no fear of him causing any trouble along the way.

If they fought here, their strength would only lead to the army’s needless demise.

And himself...

Even though he had recovered most of the steel fragments used to create the steel giant dragon, he still felt weak.

Steel giant dragons weren’t a match for them, not to mention fighting in such a state.

Fortunately, the Steel Clan’s traits allowed for continuous stamina recovery, and the journey had completely restored Black Diamond Lorne’s stamina.

Upon reaching Demon King City, should anything unexpected occur, he could still act as the Demon King’s shield.

Black Diamond Lorne temporarily abandoned thoughts of battling Yang Yu and his group, rising from the steel creations to greet the awaiting demon clan cadres.

Yang Yu and the others donned cloaks one after another.

Though they were brought by the Four Heavenly Kings, their human identities were inherently delicate, entering like this would invite suspicion.

To avoid unnecessary conflicts, Yang Yu and the others slightly concealed their appearances.

Controlling the small steel creations, Black Diamond Lorne entered the camp first, clearly explaining the situation to the demon clan cadres before leading Yang Yu and his group across the camp on the steel creations, arriving at the transmission platform.

The transmission platform resembled a circular temple, white stone pillars surrounding the ground’s painted magic array.

Not far from the transmission platform stood a towering metal tower, through which the Command Center’s instructions, encoded, were transmitted to the commanding officer.

The steel creations swiftly contracted, with Yang Yu and the others landing steadily before the transmission platform.

The stationed mages confirmed the situation, promptly activating the teleportation magic array as Black Diamond Lorne requested.

The transmission platform showed no signs of damage, operated smoothly, yet it failed to teleport them directly to Demon King City.

Without meticulous examination, it’s hard to detect the interference on the transmission platform.

Yang Yu and his group’s suspicions were clear about the saboteur behind the tampered teleportation array.

Except for Demon Agares, a master of teleportation magic, none could silently perform such precise point-to-point disruption of the teleportation magic array.

Bai Jin and the others stood before the physical magic array, injecting magic power and conducting a detailed inspection.

The damage in the teleportation magic wasn’t extensive, yet each was cumbersome magic techniques.

This posed no challenge to Tico, Li Yan, and Bai Jin.

With Bai Jin’s prowess, Li Yan and Tico both having high acumen in magic, it didn’t take much effort to discover the repair methods and commenced orderly restoration of the magic array.

After three to four minutes, the magic array was fully restored, and the mage responsible for the transmission platform again injected magic power, activating the magic array.

Yang Yu and his group stepped into the center of the teleportation array.

White light burst from the magic array, swallowing them instantly.

Yang Yu and his group were fixed within the white glow, guided by the Nine-Life Cat Demon, arriving at another exit.

The white glow dispersed from their vision, a dense deceit fog enveloping them.

Yang Yu led by removing his cloak, breathing a sigh of relief.

After a long journey, they finally reached Demon King City.

”You got what you wished!

But from now on, I won’t let you have your way!”

Black Diamond Lorne proclaimed, disappearing entirely into the mist the next moment.

In Demon King City, there were fragments of Black Diamond Lorne’s steel.

While Bai Jin and the others focused on repairing the magic array, Black Diamond Lorne had long established contact with his steel fragments left in Demon King City via the nearby metal tower, orchestrating their wait at the magic array ahead of time.

At the instant of teleportation to Demon King City, Black Diamond Lorne swiftly employed a skill to distance himself from Yang Yu and their group.

Yang Yu was unfazed, taking out and attaching small balls to his waist, as did the others.

Black Diamond Lorne’s reaction had been anticipated by Yang Yu and his group.

If Black Diamond Lorne fled, let him flee; it wasn’t the time to attend to him.

The immediate priority was to quickly locate the site of the Demon King’s battle with the Hero and prevent the Hero from defeating the Demon King.

As expected, Bai Jin and the others struggled to penetrate the dense magical mist with their magic sensing.

Before leaving the Nine-Life Cat Demon Kingdom, Yang Yu assigned tasks to everyone, investigating plenty of details.

During the journey, Yang Yu consolidated all that intelligence and analyzed it one by one.

This included Demon King City’s layout map and methods to counter the Deceit Fog from the Deceit Fog Clan.

The small balls they had placed on their waists just moments ago were the means to counter the Deceit Fog!

There are several teleportation arrays on Demon King City, each leading to different locations; Yang Yu and his group could identify which teleportation magic array they had activated by nearby architecture.

Taking out a metallic ball, Yang Yu forcefully threw it skyward.

The metallic ball unfolded four wings, slicing through the sky like a boomerang, and upon reaching the specified position, suspended mid-air like a helicopter, releasing potent storm magic, instantly dispelling surrounding fog, forming a cylindrical fog-free zone amidst the mist.

The buildings hidden within the deceit fog gradually revealed themselves, with Yang Yu quickly identifying their current location by memory.

These metal balls capable of dispelling the mist were produced by Gao Yuanyi, powered by Bai Jin and the others.

When not affected by other effects, each could persist for roughly three to five minutes.

Once the metallic ball’s vortex magic expired, the deceit fog would engulf everything once more.
