Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

To leave here, Agares’ strength is indispensable.

Bar seemed to be diving in a straight line to chase Yang Yu, but in reality, he was feinting eastward.

The long spear bloomed with black and purple flames, two black serpents coiling around the long handle, clinging to the sharp spear tip, igniting with heat.

Suddenly accelerating in the direction of Yang Yu’s descent, Bar lunged forward with the long spear in hand.

The black serpents on the long spear howled, opening their bloody mouths to pounce on Yang Yu.

Taking a deep breath, maintaining calm, Yang Yu took out the [Broken Cocoon Butterfly].

The [Broken Cocoon Butterfly] had been patched together by Xin Mang, barely forming a whole.

Due to uncertainty about its strength, Yang Yu hadn’t used the [Broken Cocoon Butterfly], but Bar’s offensive was too fierce. Numerous shields were shattered by Bar’s attacks, forcing Yang Yu to try using the [Broken Cocoon Butterfly] to see if it could stop Bar’s attack.

”[Interception]”

Reciting the skill’s name, the Illusion Shield extended out from Yang Yu’s shield.

The fierce serpents roared, crashing into the ground with Yang Yu, black and red flames spreading outward along the ground.

The spreading flames split into numerous small but extremely fierce serpents, spewing fire tongues, shattering everything in their path.

With the constant ”crackle” of flames, Yang Yu faintly heard the sound of the [Broken Cocoon Butterfly]’s seams cracking again, even though Xin Mang controlled the flames’ high temperature, it seemed unable to perfectly bond the broken shields.

Ultimately, it was still too forced.

Sighing inwardly, Yang Yu glanced at the [Broken Cocoon Butterfly]’s attributes, the progress bar stubbornly stuck at ninety-nine percent, unchanged from before.

Glowing light arrows streaked across the sky, passing by Yang Yu, tearing open the black and red flames embedded with black magic.

Watching vigilantly around, through the rift opened by Iyas, Yang Yu noticed that Bar didn’t attack him but changed targets, raising his butcher’s knife towards Gao Yuanyi’s group not far away.

Reciting a spell quickly, Bai Jin wove countless silver magic arrays.

With a wave of the magic wand, countless silver magic arrays launched finger-sized silver magic ”missiles”.

The silver magic ”missiles”, though small, were incredibly fast, tailing right behind Bar’s rear in the blink of an eye.

Bar released black magic behind him, causing the silver magic ”missiles” to be disrupted, colliding with each other, triggering strings of explosive electric flashes.

Gao Yuanyi was dragging the giant crocodile’s tail, retreating step by step, while Qiuye and Lotcar faced the crocodile’s gaping maw, dodging its furious attacks with speed and positioning. The master-student duo in the sky continuously tried employing various magic spells to block the giant crocodile’s path.

The sudden arrival of the Demon Bar was destined to disrupt their plans, complicating the situation greatly.

But now they have no choice but to confront it!

”Even demons use feints?

It clearly felt like he was heading for Yang Yu, but ultimately...

Anyway, no matter.”

Gao Yuanyi took a deep breath, his feet bursting with strong power, moving the giant crocodile closer to Bar’s attacking direction by a few steps.

”Since you said not to hold back, I won’t be polite.

However, don’t think of me as someone who doesn’t plan anything.

I know when to use which skill.”

White smoke continuously rose from Bar’s shoulders, side abdomen, and knees, forming an eerie halo behind him.

Just looking forward, the eerie halo on Bar’s back rolled toward Gao Yuanyi and the others like a wind-fire wheel.

This move is to bind the enemies!

Having encountered similar skills during his adventures in the Demon World, Gao Yuanyi had seen such abilities.

The white halo approached closer, with Tico and Li Yan sensing its magical fluctuations, knowing these halos intended to immobilize them, buying time for Agares to escape.

As for Bar’s terrifying side, one could glimpse from Yang Yu’s earlier battle.

Facing such an enemy, Tico and Li Yan naturally wouldn’t be negligent, maintaining the utmost alertness, redirecting a portion of magic from controlling Agares to defense.

Blazing flames shot from Li Yan’s array, collaborating with Tico’s wind magic to fuel the teacher’s flames.

The surging crimson flames resembled a vast fire dragon, swallowing the incoming white halos whole.

Yet, despite the reduction in size, the white halos managed to break out of the fire dragon’s body, continuing to rotate with a tuft of tiny flames.

Gao Yuanyi raised the [Laplace], the inner side of the massive mechanical arm lighting up a grid, streams of brown-red light flowing across the mechanical arm, the [Laplace] emitting a dazzling brown-red glow,

”[Fallen Land]!”

With the [Laplace], Gao Yuanyi punched the ground.

In an instant, the earth trembled and mountains shook, the ground shattering inch by inch from Gao Yuanyi’s center, collapsing rapidly downward.

In just a few seconds, Gao Yuanyi created a huge crater resembling a meteor impact on the ground, its thunderous formation audible for kilometers.

The enormous crocodile descended into the sinking ground, sliding toward the center.

Qiuye and Lotkar suffered varying degrees of impact, almost failing to stand on the slope, sliding downwards with it.

Fortunately, Qiuye and Lotkar were much lighter than the enormous crocodile, and Demon King City was constructed in separate modules, affected by [Fallen Land], some modules, like lumps protruding inside a bowl, conveniently offered footholds for Lotkur and Qiuye.

The flame-carrying white halos continued to dance in mid-air, Gao Yuanyi climbed up the giant crocodile’s tail, leaping high with the shield plates on the crocodile’s back.

”[Undying Grasp]”

Green light glowed on Gao Yuanyi’s hand, instantly shattering the incoming white halo to pieces.

The next second, Demon Bar too pierced through the blazing flames created by Li Yan and Tico, his eerie, cold-light-emitting spear thrusting toward Gao Yuanyi.

Due to the indiscriminate effect of [Disrupting Hurricane], Gao Yuanyi couldn’t use any skills for displacement.

However, from the start, Gao Yuanyi wasn’t intending to fully evade.

Flames spurted underfoot, slightly shifting Gao Yuanyi’s position.

Seeing clearly the trajectory of the long spear, Gao Yuanyi grabbed its handle and punched Bar’s head.

”Boom!” The muffled sound echoed alongside the shock waves spreading out.

Bar’s armor on his face, when Gao Yuanyi struck him, rapidly grew like a flower bud beside his head.

Gao Yuanyi’s fierce punch only inflicted minor damage!

The moment Gao Yuanyi withdrew his fist, the armor enveloping Bar’s head bloomed like a flower, exposing Bar’s head once again.

Bar’s face remained expressionless, dark green light flickering in his eyes, the blackness on his weapon crawling up Gao Yuanyi’s arm, climbing onto his body.
