The Unveiling of Secret Queen

”Are you talking about Jake Rabenstein?” Candice Yancey immediately thought of someone’s name.

The Yancey Family’s power is mainly in Beijing and in Inderia, they are just a drop in the ocean among the countless forces, with limited access to the top-tier forces in Inderia.

People from The First Research Institute are considered significant connections, hence Candice remembers.

Once Mr. Yancey mentioned it, she recalled the person Fredy Yancey knew.

Mr. Yancey nodded and instructed, ”Contact him and ask if he can think of a way to help Nathalie.”

”Alright.” Candice, efficient as ever, immediately went to make the call.

Ten minutes later.

She finished the call, walked over to Mr. Yancey, and said, ”Fredy said The First Research Institute isn’t easy to get into, the Yancey Family may not be able to get someone in.”

Mr. Yancey anticipated this issue, but the Yancey Family is not without its foundation. After a slight consideration, he said, ”Tell him, at any cost. If there’s an opportunity, have him think of a way for Nathalie.”

”Hmm.”

Candice nodded, having no objection.

She went to contact Fredy Yancey again.

Mr. Yancey picked up the phone placed beside him, composed a text message for Nathalie Quinlan: ’Nathalie, do you want to enter The First Research Institute?’

After reconsidering, he deleted the message word by word. Planning to wait until reaching Inderia and have Fredy make the arrangements before telling Nathalie.

To avoid disappointment if it cannot be done.

Mr. Yancey slowly put down the phone, set it aside, and began reviewing the Yancey Family’s power distribution map in Inderia.

The First Research Institute.

Jake Rabenstein received Fredy Yancey’s call. Hearing the name of the person he was asked to help get into the institute, he almost thought he was hallucinating.

”Did you say that person is named... Nathalie Quinlan?”

Such a coincidence, could it be the same name and surname?

But if it’s the same person.

This Nathalie Quinlan just defeated Harvey Cadorette, Zevaney Kingsley, and others a few days ago, becoming Nicholas Fuller’s legitimate successor, the future director of The First Research Institute.

Why would Nathalie Quinlan be seeking a connection to ask for a spot at The First Research Institute through him?

Jake was completely baffled, unable to ask directly, he could only say, ”The First Research Institute has stringent selection criteria, and I’m just an ordinary member, without the authority to decide who can enter the institute. Besides, this year’s spots have been chosen long ago. If the person you’re talking about really wants to enter The First Research Institute, they can try applying next year. Beyond that, I’m unable to help.”

Fredy Yancey thanked him.

Jake hung up the call, still in a daze, feeling it’s unlikely to coincidentally meet someone from Beijing with the exact same name, yet finding the other possibility more absurd, completely illogical.

He walked out, preparing to return to the laboratory.

Zevaney Kingsley’s phone call came in.

Seeing the incoming call alert on the phone, Jake didn’t answer immediately, hesitating for a moment.

Previously, he had worked hard to ingratiate himself with Zevaney Kingsley because of the Kingsleys Family’s power behind her.

Now Zevaney Kingsley lost her position as the institute’s successor and has been expelled from The First Research Institute.

She is no longer of any consequence to Jake.

Jake is a very pragmatic person.

Not wanting to invite trouble, he simply waited for the phone to stop ringing, exhaled a breath of turbid air, silently turned off the phone, and went into the laboratory without looking back.
