The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1893: Chapter 1893: Nathalie Quinlan Made It to the Second Round?

Willy Kingsley irritably put out his cigarette and walked over: ”The 41st place scored 79 points, it seems even the top 40 might not make it to the second round of assessment.”

Zevaney Kingsley gave a slight nod, elegantly picking up the conversation: ”The research institute doesn’t recognize rankings, only scores. Only those who pass the threshold score can move to the second round for the simulated lab operations. Even if someone ranks high, they’ll be eliminated if they don’t meet the score. The competition this year is pretty fierce...”

In the previous years, the top 40 definitely advanced to the second round. This year, it seems the top 40 might not make it, so we have to see what the scores of those ranking 30-40 are like.

However, Zevaney is rather optimistic. After all, the scores for ranks 40-50 are much better compared to 50-60, and the scores are starting to increase significantly.

It seems the closer to the top, the closer the scores are.

The 40th place is a watershed.

Willy’s eyes shifted slightly, initially wanting to mention that Nathalie Quinlan’s name hadn’t appeared yet.

But Willy noticed James Lawrence beside him, and he swallowed back his words.

Like Zevaney, he didn’t want James Lawrence to pay too much attention to someone like Nathalie Quinlan.

Because during the banquet, Nathalie had shown talent in gunpowder, and if the Kingsleys took a liking to her and lured her into their family, it wouldn’t benefit them at all.

After all, Nathalie had long been at odds with them.

Such a talented individual who cannot be used by them is best kept as far away as possible...

Therry Kingsley was still discussing the exam paper’s difficult problems with Zevaney when the leaderboard updated with the names ranked 30-40.

Zevaney thought for sure Nathalie’s name would be on it.

She estimated that even if Nathalie stumbled upon luck, she’d only rank around here, but unexpectedly, Nathalie’s name wasn’t among 30-40 either.

However, the 31st place had already reached 88 points.

That is to say, the likelihood of entering the second round for the top 30 is very high.

Now Zevaney’s face turned completely gloomy, her eyelashes drooped as she chuckled, seemingly only expressing an emotion, but in a not very pleasant tone: ”I didn’t think she’d make it into the top thirty. It seems the Moore family wouldn’t casually pick someone, I underestimated her...”

At this moment, James Lawrence’s face completely relaxed, showing no trace of gloom or disappointment, and he couldn’t hide the smile at the corners of his mouth, responding cheerfully: ”Indeed, it’s unexpected that Ms. Quinlan could enter the second round, truly surprising.”

Zevaney glanced at him sideways, quickly retracting her gaze, struggling to maintain the smile at the corner of her mouth. Although she retained her politeness on the surface, her smile didn’t reach her eyes.

”The 31st place scored 88 points, the top 30 will definitely have 90 points, Nathalie, you did it, you’re in the second round!” Sadam Vinson saw the latest scores and noticed Nathalie’s name wasn’t there, then saw the 31st score and was more thrilled than anyone else.

Joy painted across his face, his spirits soared as he calculated for Nathalie: ”31st place has 88 points, 30th place may not have 90, but starting at 29th they’ll definitely break 90, hitting 90 reaches the pass line! Those who reach the pass line qualify for the second round assessment! Nathalie, you’re set!”

Nathalie leaned smugly against the car, looking at the scores with her arms crossed. She put her phone aside, tilting her head slightly to showcase her exquisite white jawline, sharply defined and smooth.

She only raised her eyebrows at Sadam’s words, wearing an indifferent expression, exuding arrogance: ”I never thought I wouldn’t make it to the second round anyway.”

I never thought I wouldn’t make it to the second round...

That is to say, she never considered she wouldn’t score above 90.
