The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1886: Chapter 1886: James Lawrence Insists on Coming Along

The competition for this year’s new recruitment assessment is exceptionally fierce, with all three major families participating, yet there is only one spot to enter The First Research Institute.

In this situation, one can basically imagine the level of brutality of this recruitment assessment!

For this reason, Zevaney Kingsley and Willy Kingsley dare not be careless, accompanying Therry Kingsley to the exam site early in the morning.

A lot of people have already arrived on site.

She looked around and didn’t see any trace of Nathalie Quinlan.

Zevaney Kingsley withdrew her gaze, her lovely face solemn and serious, and was the first to ask Therry Kingsley, who was to take the assessment today: ”We have a tough battle ahead. Are you mentally prepared?”

Zevaney Kingsley and Therry Kingsley are of the same generation.

But their statuses in the Kingsleys Family are worlds apart.

Compared to the much-valued Zevaney Kingsley, Therry Kingsley is merely a trivial role in the Kingsleys Family.

So Zevaney Kingsley spoke to him in a tone akin to a superior talking to a subordinate.

Therry Kingsley has a rather handsome appearance, with a bit of youthful arrogance between his brows. Hearing this, he was quite confident and said to her: ”Don’t worry, cousin. I’m confident I’ll take the first place in the theoretical exam!”

”Alright.” Seeing his confidence, Zevaney Kingsley was slightly relieved, reached out to pat his shoulder, and encouraged him: ”The institute’s exam isn’t as simple as you think. When you answer the questions later, think a lot, and be careful of traps in the questions.”

With carefree brows and eyes, Therry Kingsley nodded: ”I know, cousin, you can rest assured!”

The first round of the theoretical exam starts at ten o’clock.

The results are announced within an hour after the exam.

After the results of the first round of the exam are released, there will be a selection to determine who can continue to the next round of the operational exam, which is the simulation experiment exam.

The second round of the simulation experiment exam is also conducted here. Those who pass the first round get placed in a closed classroom.

In the large lecture hall, there are dozens of computers and simple experimental benches. The heads of The First Research Institute’s level 1-8 laboratories will all come to the lecture hall, and each will propose a question.

The difficulty of the questions ranges from level 1 to level 8.

The people who pass the first round of assessment can choose the question themselves and then use the computer in the simulation laboratory to perform virtual experiment operations.

This difficulty level is about the same as what Zevaney Kingsley and the others usually encounter in experiments at the institute.

Even those of them who have been at the institute for years find it difficult.

For a rookie, it’s easy to imagine how challenging it would be.

Zevaney Kingsley is not worried about Therry Kingsley. After all, the Kingsleys Family also have teachers to instruct them, and the Kingsleys Family have their own independent laboratory.

Therry Kingsley’s hands-on time with experiments is much more than someone who isn’t from one of the three major families, and this advantage will manifest in the second round of assessments.

Willy Kingsley also gave Therry Kingsley a few reminders, telling him to compose himself and not to be overly conceited.

As someone entered the exam hall,

Therry Kingsley also waved goodbye to Zevaney Kingsley and the others, and went inside first.

Zevaney Kingsley watched the figure of Therry Kingsley as he entered the exam hall, furrowed her brows, and then relaxed them.

Only then did she casually turn her head and speak to the man who had been standing quietly by her and Willy Kingsley’s side: ”Uncle Heburn, I heard the Moore Family also participated in this institute’s assessment this time...”

Following her words, Willy Kingsley noticed the person beside him, his face slightly darkened, but he didn’t dare to speak recklessly.

James Lawrence smiled slightly, politely and tactfully speaking: ”Yes, I’ve heard about it too. The Moore Family hasn’t participated in The First Research Institute’s assessment for 20 years, and this year, for some reason, they suddenly decided to participate.”
