The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1859: Chapter 1859: Nathalie: I’m Staying at a Hotel

An hour passed.

Outside in the corridor, the butler paced back and forth incessantly, growing anxious and uneasy from the initial patient waiting.

He paused at the door, straining his ears to catch any hint of noise from inside, but after listening for ages, he didn’t hear a sound.

The butler couldn’t help but furrow his brows, becoming even more worried.

That Ms. Quinlan claimed she had a way to cure the lady’s illness, could it be all talk?

If so, that would be too despicable!

Jaycent Kingsley and Yuni Davidson did not pay him any mind and didn’t look in his direction either.

Yuni Davidson waited an hour, glanced at the time on her watch and couldn’t hold back, turning her head, asking her son, ”Why haven’t they come out yet? Jaycent, do you think Ms. Quinlan will manage?”

She originally thought that Jaycent would definitely comfort her, telling her that there was no problem or something like that.

Unexpectedly, the delicate and handsome young man answered without thinking, ”I don’t know.”

Yuni couldn’t help but twitch the corner of her mouth, giving him a glare, just about to criticize him.

The room door opened from inside.

Kenzie Nabours came out first.

Yuni Davidson and Jaycent Kingsley straightened up, glancing over in their direction.

”Ms. Quinlan, thank you so much for today. I don’t even know how to thank you properly. I owe you a personal favor, and if you ever need anything, just ask.” Kenzie Nabours spoke sincerely, showing his gratitude.

He couldn’t hide the joy on his face, speaking with a beaming smile.

The butler, Jaycent Kingsley, and the others were all taken aback seeing the smile on Kenzie Nabours’s face, considering they hadn’t seen him so relaxed since Marcella Davidson fell ill.

”SN.” Jaycent Kingsley quickly walked over to Nathalie Quinlan’s side, greeted her but hadn’t yet asked how it went.

Nathalie Quinlan seemed to know what he was about to ask, crossed her arms in a cool pose, and succinctly said, ”I tried acupuncture on your aunt, and the effect was pretty good.”

”She needs long-term treatment. I’ll come over every two days to give her acupuncture, and once her condition stabilizes, I’ll prescribe some medicine for her.”

That means there is hope! Hearing the girl’s calm and composed voice, Jaycent Kingsley’s eardrums buzzed loudly, and he briefly doubted his hearing.

But there was mostly joy.

An inexplicable joy in his heart!

Kenzie Nabours was more mature and calm, and though he was more delighted than anyone at this moment, he forced himself to remain composed, thanking the girl and then immediately looking at her with concern, asking, ”Where does Ms. Quinlan live? Why not stay here? I’ll have the butler prepare a room for you.”

Of course, he hoped Nathalie Quinlan could stay, making it more convenient to perform acupuncture for Marcella Davidson.

After all, he saw with his own eyes that after Nathalie Quinlan performed acupuncture, Marcella Davidson had rarely regained some color and fell into a deep sleep.

Even if Nathalie Quinlan couldn’t ultimately cure his wife’s illness, as long as his wife was no longer repeatedly tormented by the pain, Kenzie Nabours would consider the person in front of him as an honored guest.

”...I’ll tidy up immediately.” The butler didn’t wait for his instruction and was about to arrange a room.

However, Nathalie Quinlan picked up her single shoulder bag and straightforwardly declined, ”I’m staying at a hotel.”

Though Kenzie Nabours was a bit disappointed, he respected the girl’s every decision, very gentlemanly and warmly said, ”Which hotel is Ms. Quinlan staying at? I’ll drive you there.”

Nathalie Quinlan gave him a hotel address.

Kenzie Nabours went to get the car keys.

Jaycent Kingsley hurried up to join him, telling Yuni Davidson, ”Mom, I’ll go with Uncle Kenzie to drive SN back to the hotel.”

Yuni Davidson naturally had no objections.

Soon, Kenzie Nabours returned with the car keys, and the three of them left the Moore Family estate first.
