The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1888: Chapter 1888: How Is She Filling in the Answers Directly on the Test Paper

Nathalie Quinlan didn’t look at the surveillance. After the test papers were handed out, she took a black water-based pen from her pencil case, twirling the cap with her fingers, her eyes fixed on the test paper...

The examination room was exceptionally quiet, with only the ’swish’ sound of pen nibs on paper. Almost everyone buried their heads in the test as soon as they got the paper.

The First Research Institute’s theoretical written exam consists of two sets of papers: the A paper tests foundational theoretical knowledge, and the B paper tests experiment-related topics.

The combined AB papers contain 48 questions.

The number of questions seems not much.

Fewer than the dozens of questions in one subject for the college entrance examination.

But in reality, Nathalie Quinlan has seen the questions on the AB papers, each one would be at a competition level of difficulty if placed outside.

The subjects covered are extensive, including advanced mathematics, physics, chemistry, and even quantum studies, energy equations, and more.

Nathalie Quinlan first scanned the questions on the AB papers roughly, spending ten minutes before she started writing.

She was the last one in the examination room to begin writing.

When she started writing, the others had already answered one or two questions.

Because this year she represented the Moore Family for the assessment.

Inderia’s Moore Family hadn’t participated in The First Research Institute’s assessment for almost 20 years.

Not only were other assessment participants interested in her.

The research institute’s internal people had also heard that this year the Moore Family found an outsider from Inderia to participate in the institute’s recruitment assessment...

So people from the two institutes, after handing out the papers, couldn’t help but look toward Nathalie Quinlan, covertly observing the girl’s every move.

They saw the girl, one of the first to get the papers but the last to write, seemingly only scribbling answers onto the papers without looking at any written calculations. She would pause for several minutes after each answer, then continue writing.

Both couldn’t help but shake their heads, greatly disappointed.

...

In the examination surveillance room.

Zevaney Kingsley and several people from the institute were together, monitoring the situation in the examination room.

She herself is a member of the institute and broke through rank 1 in experiments at a young age, now able to independently conduct rank 2 experiments.

Nathan Garland, the head of rank 5 laboratory, is also her tutor.

Plus, she comes from one of Inderia’s three Great Families, the Kingsleys Family.

Zevaney Kingsley has a notable reputation in The First Research Institute, so she has internal access privileges to view the exam progress in the surveillance room with others.

At this moment, she watched the girl at the fifth seat in the third row of the examination room writing nonchalantly, a mocking smile inadvertently forming at the corner of her mouth.

The others also noticed this scene.

Someone couldn’t help but speak up, ”What is that girl doing? Isn’t she making calculations? I see her directly filling answers on the paper with her pen.”

”Who?” another person leaned in curiously.

That person pointed in Nathalie Quinlan’s direction, slightly tilting their chin, ”There, it’s her.”

”Look at her, she hasn’t done calculations on scratch paper at all; she’s directly filling in answers. I don’t know what she’s writing; anyway, the surveillance shows a dense block of black scribbles.”

The questions at The First Research Institute require not only answers but also a detailed calculation process.

Otherwise, the answers are considered invalid.

This also serves as a way to prevent information leaks or cheating.

The difficulty of the questions is quite high.

Nathalie Quinlan, a rookie, yet hasn’t done calculations on scratch paper; any normal person seeing this situation would suspect she’s writing randomly on the test paper.

Moreover, the girl’s demeanor is so striking, making it hard for people not to notice her!
