The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1873: Chapter 1873: It’s Just an Assessment, Why Make It So Complicated

”Nathalie, are you going to the exam today?” Sadam Vinson reacted belatedly, looking shocked and puzzled, with his hand on the table, extremely surprised: ”How do I remember that your exam is three days later?”

Nathalie Quinlan took a bite of toast: ”The formal assessment is three days later; today is just to register.”

Brian Bonette also explained to him the difference between registration and assessment.

Sadam Vinson rubbed his head, feeling quite speechless, and complained: ”Isn’t it just an exam? It’s so complicated. You have to register first... if you don’t register in advance, your exam qualification will be canceled, tsk! Previously, Nathalie didn’t have such a complicated process for Tsinghua University.”

”...” Brian Bonette didn’t bother to talk to him further.

Can Tsinghua University and the First Research Institute of Independent island be the same?

One is a college entrance exam.

One is an extremely specialized selection exam.

The two exams are not the same thing at all; they can’t be compared together.

Alfred Garland also said beside him: ”Mr. Vinson, these two exams are different, the First Research Institute is very impressive, only one spot every three years... In short, they are exams, but they are different from ordinary exams.”

The power represented by the First Research Institute is extremely huge; let alone controlling this place, it’s even hard for ordinary people to get inside.

Zevaney Kingsley can have her current status in the Kingsleys Family not only because she has a good talent for black powder, but also because she entered the First Research Institute and was valued by the level 5 experiment leader Nathan Garland inside...

The Kingsleys Family, as one of the three major families of Inderia, attaches great importance to the status of its members in the First Research Institute, let alone outsiders.

He was stunned that Nathalie could participate in this assessment back then.

After all, although the First Research Institute claims to recruit newcomers from all regions, in fact, it’s very difficult even to get registration qualifications.

”In any case, the First Research Institute is not that simple; Ms. Quinlan is very lucky to have a chance to experience it.” Alfred Garland said quite emotionally, with a privileged expression.

Sadam Vinson wasn’t foolish; he could play in a small circle with Amadeus Yancey and the others, naturally having his own merits.

He just felt, not understanding at the time, that this First Research Institute was quite troublesome, that just holding a test required submission of information three days prior.

He felt it was unnecessary; after all, it was just an exam.

Isn’t the purpose of the exam to select talents?

It should focus more on the exam itself, right?

But hearing Alfred Garland say this, he didn’t argue.

Just then, there was movement at the study door, Sadam Vinson saw Amadeus Yancey and Vincent Moore, Zed Moore coming out.

He immediately greeted the people coming out: ”Amadeus.”

He didn’t greet Vincent Moore and Zed Moore, just nodded lightly to them out of courtesy.

After all, he and Brian Bonette were affiliated with The Ninth Institute, and weren’t very familiar with Yandor Sect.

Vincent Moore and Zed Moore knew Sadam Vinson and Brian Bonette were friends with Amadeus Yancey, greeted them politely: ”Mr. Vinson, Mr. Bonette.”

Then their line of sight fell on the sleepy, half-eyed girl biting a slice of bread, nonchalantly taking a bite, seeming still not fully awake.

Changing from their polite demeanor with Sadam Vinson and Brian Bonette, they almost simultaneously displayed a more reserved, respectful reaction with added courtesy toward the girl: ”Ms. Quinlan.”

”Mm.”

After half a month of interaction, Nathalie was more familiar with them, but her attitude remained generally average, not completely ignoring but just very plain.
