He tells them that he will consider accepting the alliance between him and Lu Bu but in return his condition is that he have one request which he can ask Lu Bu whenever he wants to, if they accept this condition of his then he will accept the alliance between him and Lu Bu, where he will help Lu Bu in repelling Cao Cao and Liu Bei.

Zhang Miao and Xu Si turned their head to look at each other, this request may seem easy but in truth, it can become a complicated condition with how Lie Fan is known for his careful planning from a young age.

They were whispering with each other while Lie Fan and his advisors were waiting for their answer, For Lie Fan this is actually just an additional benefit because he will eventually accept but prolong his answer to pressure them.

After some time passed by, Zhang Miao and Xu Si with a determined face finally decided on their answer and Zhang Miao representing Lu Bu agreed to Lie Fan’s condition because he and Xu Si felt that Lu Bu’s survival was more important.

Lie Fan was satisfied with the answer, and he replied by saying that he accepted the motion of alliance between him and Lu Bu, next they will need to made an agreement between the two forces, Chen Qun and Liu Ye will become Lie Fan’s representatives.

Zhang Miao and Xu Si heave a sigh of relief, this means their mission is already on the last step, and when the agreement between the two forces is made they can return back to Beihai bearing good news.

After announcing his agreement, Lie Fan stood up from his seat and left the hall followed by Jia Xu, Xun You, and his bodyguards. Chen Qun and Liu Ye escort Zhang Miao and Xu Si toward another hall where they will discuss their agreement.

Lie Fan alongside Jia Xu, Xun You, and his bodyguards heads toward his office at the Governor’s Castle, at the office, Lie Fan takes his seat while Jia Xu and Xun You stand across him with his table between them.

Lie Fan: ”Wenhe and Gongda what do you think of the result we achieved? Do you think the condition no ask them is a good one?”

Jia Xu: ”I personally think that it was a great one, My Lord, you can ask Lu Bu anything you want in return for your agreement toward the alliance, even though I know that My Lord will accept it according to our previous plan.”

Xun You: ”I think exactly like Master Jia Xu My Lord, it was a great move for My Lord to ask for such a condition, which also pressured them to accept because they thought you would not agree to the alliance with Lu Bu.”

Lie Fan: ”I see that’s good, then what do you think we should do next? Should we send our army immediately or we wait until the right moment?”

Jia Xu: ”I think we should wait for the right moment, My Lord, we can use the reason that our army is tired and we need to replenish our supplies before we can send our Army.”

Xun You: ”Yes My Lord like Master Jia Xu suggested we need to wait for the right moment until Lu Bu is truly in a desperate situation, where we can then utilize our condition to the fullest.”

Lie Fan: ”Alright then we should do it like the two of you suggested, also prepare a plan for our possible battle against Cao Cao and Liu Bei we should be cautious against the two of them.”

Jia Xu and Xun You nodded their head agreeing with Lie Fan’s suggestion, it was at this time that Xun You informed Lie Fan of the plan that he made after discussing it with Jia Xu.

Xun You explained the plan to Lie Fan, how he would lead his army, alongside Taishi Ci’s army as a deterrent to Cao Cao and Liu Bei’s army, even though they outnumbered Lie Fan’s army in terms of skills Lie Fan’s army were higher than Cao Cao and Liu Bei’s army.

They didn’t need to have an all out battle with Cao Cao and Liu Bei, it was not part of Lie Fan and his advisor’s plan, their objective was just to take over the land of Qing Province under Lu Bu’s control.

Also, Lie Fan can begin to show the Chu-Ko-Nu Unit that they have trained for so long, where it can show its dominance on the battlefield and stop Cao Cao’s cavalry in a matter of seconds, with how heavy their firepower is.

The bombs that have been made and have been stocked for so long and many still being produced, now can be used by Lie Fan which could cause massive trauma and casualties to Cao Cao and Liu Bei’s men.

The Hwacha, Nest Of Bees, and Fire Lance can also begin to be used, where if it goes according to the successful test been done, it could cause massive damage over a mass number of infantries especially one in a formation.

Lie Fan nods his head listening to the plan Xun You illustrated to him, he understands that now is the chance for him to begin showing his technological advantage to the other lords.

The news of his powerful navy will soon spread, especially with how dominant it was destroying and capturing Liu Yao’s navy, which the surviving ships were given to Sun Jian who was sent to Yuzhang.

Lie Fan shows his agreement with Xun You plan, and praises both Jia Xu and Xun You for coming up with such a plan, he tells them that they should inform the other advisors about this plan to make sure there are no loopholes and make it as perfect as possible.

Several days passed by, and Zhang Miao and Xu Si were sent off by Lie Fan and his retainers after they were done constructing the alliance agreement between Lie Fan and Lu Bu, with the two of them feeling confident about the chance of Lu Bu’s survival.

But far away from their location at Lean County in Qing Province, Gao Shun and his elite unit that was sent by Lu Bu and Chen Gong to gather some supplies for Lu Bu’s armies was in a tough spot right now.

He was now being siege in a small town by Cao Cao and Liu Bei’s army that was sent here, he had just finished collecting the supplies at this town who last on his list before heading to Beihai when Cao Cao and Liu Bei’s army arrived at his location.

Outnumbered, outgunned, and having low morale caused Gao Shun’s elite unit combat capability not to be high, now knowing that they were surrounded their morale became even lower.

Gao Shun, recognizing the dire state of his outnumbered and demoralized elite unit, opted for a move to boost their spirits. He organized a feast, a momentary respite from the tensions of the surrounded town.

The atmosphere slowly shifted as camaraderie and shared laughter replaced the weight of them being surrounded, where they felt that their energy was being lifted up by the delicious food they ate.

Amidst the feast, Gao Shun, standing before his warriors, delivered his signature speech. With impassioned words, he recounted their past victories, extolled their valor, and emphasized the importance of their unity in the face of adversity.

The warriors, their spirits lifted by Gao Shun’s unwavering confidence, began to regain a sense of purpose, let out a loud cheer in agreement to what Gao Shun said.

As the feast continued, the elite unit found renewed strength in their camaraderie and the conviction instilled by Gao Shun’s words. Their morale, once on the brink of collapse, began to ascend, at least enough to face the impending clash against Cao Cao and Liu Bei’s combined army.

Gao Shun, having rallied his troops, now stood poised for the challenge ahead, confident that the bonds forged during the feast would contribute to their resilience on the battlefield.

Outside the town, within the encampment of Cao Cao and Liu Bei’s combined army, the command tent hosted a strategic discussion between Sun Guan and Yu Jin.

The air was filled with the weight of impending conflict as they deliberated on tactics to overcome the formidable defense of Gao Shun’s elite unit, who was known as the formation breaker under Gao Shun’s lead.

Sun Guan, leaning over a strategic map, remarked, that taking down the town where Gao Shun is holed up won’t be an easy feat due to his tactics which were known for their resilience and precision.

Yu Jin thoughtfully responded by saying that he agrees and they need a carefully devised strategy. Surrounding the town was a good move, but they must be wary of potential traps and ambushes within the narrow streets, where Gao Shun have known the landscape much better than them.

As they continued their discussion, a detailed plan began to take shape. Sun Guan and Yu Jin considered various maneuvers, exploiting the strengths and weaknesses of Gao Shun’s elite unit. The challenge lay not just in the physical layout of the town but also in anticipating the unpredictable nature of Gao Shun’s tactics.

The next day, as the morning sun bathed the landscape in a soft glow, tension hung thick in the air. Gao Shun and his elite unit stood atop the town’s walls, surveying the scene below. The distant drums of war signaled the approach of Sun Guan and Yu Jin’s infantries, steadily marching toward the town.

Down in the encampment, the combined forces of Cao Cao and Liu Bei prepared for the impending clash. The rhythmic thud of footsteps echoed, and the glint of armor reflected the sunlight as the infantries advanced. Archers, their bows drawn, formed a line, ready to unleash a barrage of arrows upon Gao Shun’s elite unit.

Gao Shun, his gaze unwavering, surveyed the disciplined movements of the approaching forces. The weight of responsibility pressed upon him as the commander of a unit vastly outnumbered. He signaled to his elite warriors, who stood resolute beside him, ready to face the challenge that awaited.

The clash between Gao Shun’s elite unit and Sun Guan and Yu Jin’s combined army erupted with a thunderous intensity. The narrow streets of the town became the battleground, witnessing the collision of two formidable forces vying for control over this strategic location.

As the clash unfolded, the fate of not only the small town but also the larger landscape of Yang Province hung in the balance. The outcome of this battle had the potential to either tip the scales in favor of Lu Bu’s survival or further cement the authority of Sun Guan and Yu Jin, aligned with Cao Cao and Liu Bei.

Gao Shun, a paragon of defence tactic prowess, led his elite warriors with strategic precision, employing their renowned defensive tactics against the advancing forces in the top of the wall. Sun Guan and Yu Jin, in turn, orchestrated maneuvers to breach the formidable defenses and secure their victory over Gao Shun to end Lu Bu survival.
