After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 943: Chapter 947: Quack Doctor Shen Xiaochuan

Leng Zimo turned his head and saw Luo Xiaoqian coming in. His face immediately showed a surprised joy, ”Sissi, why are you here?!”

”I finished work ahead of schedule, so I came back a day early.” Luo Xiaoqian nodded at Shen Yizhou as a greeting, then walked to the bedside, looking at his plaster-cast arm with concern, ”How are you?!”

”It’s just a small crack on the bone, nothing to worry about.” Leng Zimo signaled to Shen Yizhou, ”Doctor Shen?!”

”Ah, yes, very right, extremely right!” Shen Yizhou nodded, ”At most a disability, nothing serious!”

Luo Xiaoqian chuckled softly, and Xiao Ding, on the side, also laughed.

Leng Zimo glared at the uncooperative Shen Yizhou, then, looking at Luo Xiaoqian again, he was full of smiles.

”Let me introduce you, this is Sissi!” He gestured towards Xiao Ding with his chin, ”That’s my driver Xiao Ding, and this mediocre doctor in front of you is surnamed Shen, Shen Xiaochuan!”

Because of Shen Yizhou’s name, when they were younger, they all called him ”Shen Xiaochuan.” Given that Shen Yizhou wasn’t cooperating, Leng Zimo didn’t hesitate to reveal his nickname.

”Doctor Shen, hello!” Luo Xiaoqian smiled as she extended her hand to Shen Yizhou, ”Please take care of me in the future.”

”Sissi?! You’re Mo Mo’s mom, right?!” Shen Yizhou pretended to be surprised as he held her hand, ”No problem, if you ever feel unwell, feel free to find me. Though I’m a surgeon, I also took electives in internal medicine. Knowing me is like having a lifelong free healthcare provider.”

Leng Zimo had already furrowed his brows as he glanced at Shen Yizhou’s hand holding Luo Xiaoqian’s, ”It seems like it’s rounds time now!”

”Is it?!” Shen Yizhou withdrew his hand, glanced at his wristwatch, ”It’s indeed time. Sissi, I’ll come to see you after my rounds.”

”Okay.” Luo Xiaoqian smiled in response, and Shen Yizhou left the ward.

”Please have a seat!” Xiao Ding immediately came over, brought a chair for Luo Xiaoqian, and then looked at Leng Zimo, ”President Leng, you must be hungry, right? I’ll go get you something to eat?”

Leng Zimo looked at Luo Xiaoqian, ”You haven’t eaten yet, right? What would you like?”

”Something light,” Luo Xiaoqian replied.

”Then I’ll find something suitable; you two chat.” Xiao Ding quickly walked out of the ward, leaving the room to the two of them.

Looking at his obviously swollen right hand, Luo Xiaoqian felt a pang of heartache, ”Does it hurt a lot?!”

Leng Zimo gently shook his head and spoke apologetically, ”Sissi, I’m sorry, I didn’t take good care of Mo Mo.”

”It’s an accident; it’s not your fault.” Her hand gently held his, ”The fact that both of you are safe is the best outcome for me.”

Gazing into her eyes full of love, Leng Zimo raised his hand, wanting to embrace her, but he couldn’t lift it and frowned with annoyance, ”I hate this plaster!”

Luo Xiaoqian got up from the chair with a smile, opened her arms, and hugged his shoulders.

”It’s okay, I’ll hug you!”

Raising the hand with the IV needle, he gently stroked her hair, ”Sissi, thank you.”

She tightened her embrace around his shoulders, ”Don’t be polite with me in the future.”

He was taken aback and then laughed, ”Okay!”

They held each other for a while longer before Luo Xiaoqian let go. The two briefly chatted about what had happened. When Luo Xiaoqian heard that the protective cover was specially ordered by his team, a sudden thought crossed her mind.
