After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 915: Chapter 919: Uncle Was Just Helping Her with Treatment

In the blink of an eye, it was already the weekend, and John, who had returned to the United States to handle his mother’s funeral, had also come back.

Early Saturday morning, Luo Xiaoqian got up early.

Today Luo Jun had a scene to shoot. After all, it was the little guy’s first time filming, so she reckoned he might take quite some time, so she arranged for John to bring him over early to allow for ample time.

By the time she set breakfast on the table, the doorbell had already rung.

Knowing it was Leng Zimo, Luo Xiaoqian quickly ran over to open the door, her face full of bright smiles, ”Just in time, I just finished preparing breakfast...”

Before she could finish her sentence, he had already stepped forward, pulling her into his arms, his lips reaching for hers.

Because ”Magic Realm 2” had just started filming these past two days, he had been staying on set, and it had already been two days since they’d seen each other.

Now that he saw her, he naturally wouldn’t miss the chance to get close to her.

Kissing her lips, his palm naturally rested on her waist.

With John’s return, it was inconvenient for him to stay at her place, and counting the days, it had been four days since he had touched her; he missed her dearly.

Reluctantly parting from her lips, Leng Zimo took the opportunity to give a light bite on her neck.

Luo Jun walked down from the stairs, saw Leng Zimo pinning Luo Xiaoqian against the door, and immediately asked in confusion, ”Mom, Uncle Zimo, what are you doing?!”

Luo Xiaoqian, flustered, hurried to pull his hand from under her clothes, ”Um, Mom...”

Compared to her panic, Leng Zimo looked calm, ”Your mom was feeling a bit unwell, and I was just helping her with some treatment.”

Treatment?!

Luo Xiaoqian gave Leng Zimo a fierce sidelong glance, wondering how he came up with such an excuse.

The little guy didn’t understand adult matters and quickly ran over, supporting Luo Xiaoqian’s arm, ”Mom, are you sick?”

Luo Xiaoqian hurried to squat down, reassuringly patting his shoulder, ”Mo Mo, don’t worry. Mommy just felt a bit uncomfortable in her chest, but I’m fine now.”

The little guy still seemed a little worried, ”Really?”

”Of course.” Leng Zimo bent down to pat his little head, ”Let’s go have breakfast, and then Uncle will take you to the set.”

Watching the two head towards the dining room, Luo Xiaoqian hurried to straighten her clothes and saw John coming up, immediately inviting him to the dining room for breakfast.

After breakfast, she personally saw Luo Jun and John off as they got into the car Leng Zimo drove over.

”With me taking care of him, you can rest assured.” Leng Zimo closed the car door for the two, raised his hand to pat her shoulder, and leaned close to her ear, ”Tonight, I want you.”

A light kiss by her ear, he stood tall and returned to the car, started the engine, and didn’t forget to tell Luo Jun to say goodbye to Luo Xiaoqian.

Leaving behind Luo Xiaoqian, whose face flushed, heart racing, and whole body heated.

”Damn rogue!”

Muttering a curse, Luo Xiaoqian finally withdrew her gaze, turned, and walked back to the door, opened it, and saw someone standing in the hallway. The casual clothes slightly soiled, boots still with dirt, and beneath slightly messy short hair, a handsome face was smiling at her.

”Sis, sorry for dirtying your floor.”

Looking at Leng Zirui in front of her, Luo Xiaoqian only paused for a moment before calming down, ”Shall we go upstairs to talk?”

Leng Zirui glanced in the direction of the dining room, ”Is there any breakfast left? I haven’t eaten yet!”

”Come with me.” Luo Xiaoqian smiled, turned, and walked into the kitchen. Moments later, she came out with a plate of golden-brown fried dumplings and placed it in front of him, ”If it’s not enough, I also have bread.”
