After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 929: Chapter 933: Commanding You in the Name of a Wife

”I’m fine!” Her nervousness was no less than his. Her eyes were fixed on his calf and foot, sizing them up. ”How about you, did you get burned?!”

Leng Zimo gently shook his head. After confirming there was nothing unusual on her leg, he moved his palm and cupped her hands.

”Sissi, will you marry me?!”

”...”

Luo Xiaoqian was stunned. She didn’t expect that he would suddenly make this request again.

Seeing her confusion, Leng Zimo immediately explained, ”I’m not asking you to marry me immediately. I just want you to promise to marry me, and then I’ll wait for you to take care of everything.”

Earlier, the way she anxiously pounced over was fully noticed by him; it was purely instinctive.

Humans have an instinct to avoid harm and seek benefits. Her actions just now completely went against this instinct. The only explanation is that she loves him deeply, and she cares a lot.

He’s not someone who likes indulgence. He wants to take on the responsibilities a man should have for her.

She understood his mood, her heart filled with both sweetness and bitterness.

Leng Zimo, oh Leng Zimo, do you know that we have long been husband and wife already?!

”I promise you!” she agreed with a smile, playfully saying, ”But, do you have a ring? How about folding a piece of paper into one for me?!”

Unexpectedly, the outcome was beyond her expectations.

With a stretch of his right hand, the palm that had been empty as if by magic had a small black box.

Leng Zimo opened the box, and inside, on silver velvet, lay a black ring set with blue gemstones quietly.

Luo Xiaoqian looked surprised. She initially thought his proposal was just a whim, but didn’t expect he had truly prepared.

”When... when did you buy this?!”

”A few days ago on a business trip, I saw it by chance and thought it matched your necklace perfectly, so I bought it.”

Leng Zimo took out the ring and reached to gently cup her left hand, slowly slipping the ring onto her middle finger.

”You...” Luo Xiaoqian grasped his hand. ”You planned this long ago?!”

”Of course.”

”Aren’t you afraid I won’t agree?”

”If you don’t agree the first time, then there’s a second, third...” He lifted both hands, enclosing her hand in his palm, his tone filled with determined confidence, ”I never let go of what I set my sights on, and I never fail.”

Luo Xiaoqian laughed. This man of hers was still as domineering as he was five years ago. But she liked it because this was the Leng Zimo she loved.

This man is hers, was hers before, is hers now, and will be in the future...

He’s her Leng Zimo. Just thinking about him fills her with happiness.

”Leng Zimo!” She laughed and ordered, ”Now, as Leng Zimo’s wife, I command you to love me forever, spoil me forever, never betray or leave me. No matter what mistakes I make, you must forgive me!”

He raised his right hand, ”I swear by the name of Sissi’s husband!”

”Alright, now help me up.”

He obliged and helped her to stand, ”What do you want to do?”

Luo Xiaoqian rolled her eyes at him, ”Of course, I’m going to clean up the kitchen.”

”I’ll take care of it!” Leng Zimo pressed her back onto the sofa, ”Stay here and be good.”

Luo Xiaoqian had already stood up with him when her phone on the coffee table suddenly buzzed. A message came in and she quickly grabbed her phone.
